Overall, the progress and outcomes have been designed with detail and rigor, and the team has stuck to them. The team is highly collaborative.

Initiating, planning, developing and deploying a solution with fortnightly sprints over a 5 year time frame where Devika was the primary technology partner. This seamlessly moved into being a part of a wider development team for a further 3 years and after 8 years we now have the full support of helping us become an internal development team, cash flow positive and overall success thanks to the genuine nature of the relationship (by both parties).

After 8 years we are in over 300 venues, with multiple products within our overall product portfolio, have become cashflow positive and with momentum behind the story. This has seen us become a genuine player in the space in which we operate and we are excited about what the next 8 years and beyond will bring.

After 8 years of being in partnership the proof is in the pudding. You don't stay married to your most critical partner (being your development partner) for that long without being overly happy with the communication channels and delivery of work (both from a timing and quality standpoint).

The culture is really good and we dealt with over 20 members in our time at Devika and it felt very similar from person to person, which helps when managing a team and providing consitient forms of communication and tone of voice.

Once again after 8 years there are always things that could have been done differently but we worked as a team and I couldn't fault the process.

Devika worked with Social Kung Fu to design, plan and develop the first version (Minimum Viable Product - MVP) of the Social Kung Fu application. The project is a Proof of Concept phase to define exactly how the product will work before software development begins. Devika will build, test and launch the application, with ongoing support available after launch if required.

The MVP included: User registration and onboarding, achievements and rewards.

Organisation and school management functionality. Content Management System (CMS) for publishing newsfeed content. 

Subscription functionality. Leaderboards, reporting and analytics. Learning Management System (LMS). 

Fortnightly development sprints with progress updates. 

Software testing, bug fixing and quality assurance. User acceptance testing. Production launch and go-live support.

The project involved designing and building a refreshed website that better reflected our brand, improved usability, and gave us a more reliable platform to publish and manage content. The scope included reviewing our existing site, improving the overall structure and user experience, implementing the new design, and ensuring the site was functional across desktop and mobile. Key deliverables included the website build, page templates, content setup, performance and usability improvements, mobile optimisation, and support during launch. The team also helped work through technical issues and provided guidance where needed to make sure the final site met our requirements. Overall, the project was delivered professionally and gave us a much stronger website to operate from.

The project improved the overall quality, usability and reliability of the website. It gave us a cleaner user experience, a more professional presentation of the brand, and a stronger backend for managing content day to day. Measurable outcomes included the successful delivery of the new website, improved mobile responsiveness, a more streamlined publishing workflow, and a reduction in technical issues compared with the previous site. The project also helped create a better foundation for future growth, including improved site structure, easier content management and a more consistent experience for readers across devices.

Devika was engaged as Circolo Software's development partner to build the Circolo platform end to end, covering both the event planning and delivery suite and the full ticketing infrastructure. As an award-winning, 100% onshore Australian software development agency with a proven track record of over 100 product launches, Devika brought the engineering depth and technical expertise needed to bring Circolo's vision to life. The planning and delivery module forms the core of the Circolo Premium plan, giving event professionals the tools to plan, manage and run events from a single connected workspace. The ticketing platform was scoped and approved in December 2025, built on a Stripe Connect architecture with ABN verification and GST compliance, and is confirmed live in production. Together, these two modules deliver on Circolo's core promise: ticketing, planning and delivery in one platform, built for event professionals.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most significant measurable outcome is that the Circolo platform is live in production and actively serving customers. The ticketing module was scoped in December 2025 and successfully delivered to production within the agreed timeline, representing a full end to end build of a payments infrastructure platform with Stripe Connect integration, ABN verification and GST compliance. The planning and delivery suite is equally live, with paying subscribers on the Premium plan using the platform to manage real events. Customers are reporting a minimum 25% reduction in event administration time as a direct result of having their planning, delivery and ticketing workflows in one place. The consolidation of fragmented systems into a single platform has also delivered measurable cost savings for customers, removing the need for multiple third party tools that were previously required to manage the same workload. Together these outcomes validate the platform's readiness for market and position Circolo for its next phase of growth.

Devika's project management was structured and consistent throughout the engagement. Delivery was on time across both the planning and delivery suite and the ticketing platform, which is a strong reflection of how well the project was managed from scoping through to go-live. Communication was anchored by weekly product meetings held virtually, supplemented by onsite sessions a couple of times per year which kept the relationship grounded and collaborative. Response times to queries and feedback were consistently swift, and change requests were handled professionally with clear communication at every step. Devika operates an internal ticketing system for logging and monitoring requests on a time and materials basis, which provided transparency and accountability across the engagement. Overall the experience has been that of a genuine technology partner rather than simply a development vendor.

This has been a driver for how they've delivered a successful project and provided us with a clear understanding of our position and where we're heading next.For example, they've delivered four carrier API integrations that have allowed us to monetize the platform virtually immediately once testing has been completed. We started generating revenue within two weeks and have generated over $20,000 in revenue within three months.Moreover, they've been able to apply our designer's concepts for the platform's UI. Devika Creations has created a functional, clean, and simple UI that aligns with our expectations. This is based on the UAT from our team.

My platform was launched successfully with the user flow and functionality working as it should. And we onboarded over 500 users within the first year.
