I work at a health insurance company that services over 90,000 people all over Argentina.

What challenge were you trying to address with DITEC?

Since we’ve seen a growth in the number of affiliates, we needed a system to manage all of it. We hired DITEC to develop a tool to manage our finances to suppliers and assist with other aspects of client management & registration.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team at DITEC built our platform, which is currently on Ruby. We continue using them.

What is the team composition?

While there is a bigger team, we’re only in contact with two or three people.

How did you come to work with DITEC?

I knew their manager previously, but when this project came up, we decided to work with them. They seemed to understand our business and requirements clearly. Their services were also at a reasonable cost.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe we’ve spent over $600,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our long-term engagement with DITEC started in 2005 or 2006.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their quality development work has not only impacted our services, but it also allowed us to save money. We haven’t needed to hire new employees, despite having a high number of clients.

How did DITEC perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Trello as our project management tool. They meet deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate how much they get involved. Their team tries to understand the business processes we need to achieve higher accuracy and better service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could start creating and proposing new processes and projects themselves to innovate more.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re developing a shift system that contains medical records and lab results. It allows doctors to access their patient’s records, allowing them to bill, create statistics, and mark up invoices for insurance, to name a few.

We worked with 4–5 people.

After consulting different agencies, we picked them because they best fit our needs.

We invested between $1.5–$3 million pesos (approximately $77,850–$155,700 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our collaboration with DITEC started in mid-2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything has been great. The system has allowed us to integrate everything and work together. Now that our team can collaborate, it has improved our daily work. We’re very happy and are continuing to improve it still.

How did DITEC perform from a project management standpoint?

We had no issues on this side of things. They complied with everything we had agreed upon.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team at DITEC was fast and responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I couldn’t say anything. We are happy with their work and haven’t had any complaints from users.
