I was looking for an infrastructure team to build a new solution for our AgroTech clients, leveraging data from drones, IoT sensors, and weather insights to monitor and enhance tree health and yield. We were in the process of migrating to Kubernetes on Google Cloud and required advanced expertise in configuring spot instances for on-demand processing jobs. The project’s goal was to deploy new infrastructure, automate its deployment through CI/CD, and configure a monitoring solution. Alongside infrastructure modification, drone footage processing changes were needed to build a pipeline optimized for new infrastructure.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

One of the standout achievements of DevelopsToday was their adept restructuring of our core Google Cloud infrastructure of Kubernetes clusters with GPU devices. Leveraging their Google Cloud knowledge, we built cost-effective solutions for on-demand GPU-intensive image processing jobs. Moreover, DevelopsToday's role in making our backend scalable cannot be understated. Their strategic enhancements in horizontal-scaling functionalities have been instrumental in broadening our reach, allowing us to cater to a more diverse and expansive audience. Besides infrastructure enhancement, they built a new image-processing pipeline for drone footage and integrated AI post-processing features.

We were impressed with their exceptional commitment and sense of ownership towards our company. They seamlessly integrated into our team, making us feel like they were an extension of our own company. Their deep understanding of our industry and market allowed me to gather valuable insights and recommendations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DevelopsToday could have done differently?

The overall experience of cooperation was smooth and transparent. The only thing I would them to improve is widening the list of providing services based on our future inquiries besides custom development, because I’d really wish to collaborate with DevelopsToday in the near future for crafting UX/UI designs for sub application in either AgroTech industry.

DevelopsToday lead by Dmitriy owned the development of our UI/UX designs from the Figma files through to a live website, including all architecture, infrastructure, backend code, frontend code, and devops. The deliverable was an MVP up to our standards of performance and quality.

We had constistent weekly and daily check-ins with progress updates and ultimately the outcome resulted in our desired product meeting our quality standards.
