We hired Designs Codes to create our sales landing page, a full-fledged website, and an internal CRM system to which we intend to provide access to our customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Designs Codes has already delivered the sales landing page, which is live now. The team has also delivered the full website design and development, to which we’re adding content and copy before making it live. The CRM system is to be delivered by the end of April 2026.Regarding the CRM system, we want a standard CRM with all the usual features that let us provide our customers access to their accounts. We also want to add third-party provider APIs from the companies we work with.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Designs Codes has delivered on time with a clean and high-converting UI/UX for the website. We’ve been running Meta and Google ads already and getting high conversions.Moreover, the team is following agile development as we wanted them to. We attend the sprint meetings and review the features in real time. My marketing manager and I are extremely pleased with how the CRM system is shaping up.

Designs Codes has consistently met the timelines for the milestones we’ve agreed upon in the contract we signed with them. Their project management is quite well organized, and they keep us in the know at all times.We have weekly sprints and review meetings with them. The team has assigned a dedicated account manager and a technical project manager as per our requirements. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Designs Codes’ adherence to the timeline while delivering high-quality output is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We want a 360-degree solution, including design, development, and marketing. However, Designs Codes doesn’t do marketing.

We are a tele-counselling platform. We onboard certified counsellors and they provide on-demand counselling to the employees of various companies through a centralised portal for each company. I'm an Administrative Assistant here.

Most important part of this platform is to have video calling facilities within our applications, both web and mobile to connect counsellors with the employees. We have monthly and yearly subscription payments and free trial period usage with limited sessions for a month as well.

Node js and React js has been used for the web application. The Android and iPhone apps are being built on native technologies.

They have completed the web application, which helped our team to convince some companies to beta test the product as paid customers. We will launch fully once the mobile applications are ready.

We have an in-house IT department. We hired them to augment our resources and complete the project faster. Their developers are working full-time for us and they coordinate with our product manager and IT team. Usually there are daily task assignments by our team and weekly review meetings.

Our IT team is happy with the skill level of designs.codes’ developers. The web developers have also worked overtime for a week beyond their usual work hours when the web application launch was taking place.

To create and develop a website and logo for Lauren Griffin yoga. My goal was to have a platform where people can find out about the yoga we teach, the classes on offer (private, corporate, group and online) and also be able to book and pay online. I also wanted people to subscribe to a mailing list.

How did you select designs.codes and what were the deciding factors?

They were recommended to me by a family member and I could see how well that website was created. I was also convinced they would do a great job on all the back end developing.

After the initial Zoom meeting and sending over a brief, we were given options of themes for the website. Once I chose the theme, they then designed accordingly. Creatively I chose all the images, wrote all the copy and came up with the colour scheme. They did all the backend and designed the logo.

Whenever I asked to change something they did it straight away. I felt there was no hesitation on their side when it came to making changes to the site.

We communicated on slack and email. Whenever I needed any answers or had any suggestions, they were taken on board. We have gone over the initial project time line, but for me that isn't a major issue.

I felt there were some teething issues at the beginning. There was some miscommunication creatively, as the first round of what the site looked like, wasn't what I had in mind. But after some feedback, they listened and made the site better.

This is a total software development project requiring the know-how and experience using multiple software development tools.

We are continuing to work with designs.codes on this project as we develop our platform. They are very responsive, flexible, and competent. They are always responsive and committed to getting things right.

They are consultative in nature and help the customer understand developing trends in the online and mobile business environment. They put the customer first and are dedicated to making the project and the business process a success for their customer.

They use Slack as their project management tool which works very well with us. We also use Jira for specific task management connected with Slack.

They are dedicated to regular communications and when there is a need to shift meetings they communicate that in advance so as to allow time management planning from a customer standpoint. Their management team is fluent in English which makes communicating deliverables and tasks easy for the customer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Far and away the most valuable thing in working with designs.codes is their ability to adapt to our needs. As a project that has been developed from scratch (inception) to live launch, it really required an organization that was nimble and flexible to the needs and desires of the client.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Early on in the project, we had to understand the nuance of working with a company that obviously is of a different culture. This took some time and we both learned to adapt to our differences.

We have just completed the website so it is a bit early to answer it , but we got what we want and are expecting a healthy response.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was arranged wonderfull. As we had started our project in 2019 which was technically before COVID-19 and was ended in 2020 by the time COVID had crossed a crore mark in India. Despite of that , the project manager was determined to finish the work in the whole hosh posh. I thank the manager personally for finishing the project in these intense times.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As I have mentioned about the time of our project was through the breakout of COVID in India, so keeping that thing in the mind the Team working on the project was quite calm and determined to finish the project. Working when things are all against the situations is the best thing they could do and they did the same.

Not much as every thing went smooth in the project , except the designing phase was a bit on the slower side. If they could have given me more ideas upfront in the designing phase , that would have helped me to make our customized website more effective.

The mobile app for field agents is really simple to use. We also added a customer app later to make customer contact simpler. The web software helped us migrate to online completely from fragmented record keeping and now each depart from service engineers to support guys and storefront people have access to full customer life cycle data.

It has been smooth overall as they are a friendly lot. Being in the same city also helped. They would visit our store for discussions at times or demo to our team. I've also visited their office a few times.
