I'm a freelance artist and filmmaker. DesignMaze helped me create my online portfolio website, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm a multidisciplinary artist with a diverse and eclectic set of skills, and showcasing this variety on my website was proving a challenge to me. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't have the web design knowledge or experience to get me over the final hump.

After interviewing a number of web developers, DesignMaze stuck out for their comprehensive knowledge of WordPress, their fair pricing, and their responsiveness to all of my ideas and communications. They were extra helpful in creating the pages that I described to them, and professional and courteous whenever my ambition came up against technical issues. 

I literally would never have finished my website if it wasn't for DesignMaze. Throughout the process of getting my website together, they proved not only to take my direction and deliver on what I wanted, but were also very adept at creating novel solutions when we came up against a functionality or design problem. I would work with DesignMaze again in a heartbeat. Thanks you guys. You really can do it all.

The completion of the website

They were extremely responsive to my needs and requests. In fact they went above and beyond in terms of editing changes, page building, and more. The project ended up taking far longer than I expected and they continued to work with me without asking me for more money than the original estimate. I'm genuinely impressed and wouldn't be surprised if they lost money completing my project. I intend to use them and refer them to the other entrepreneurs I know who want to a website.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The personal interaction. I worked with Brian from Design maze and I have his number in my phone. Our email chain is 77 emails long and that's the one titled "finishing touches." They commited to completing the project and I'm thankful I chose to go with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DesignMaze could have done differently?

I think what would have improved my experience and probably theirs as well is facilitating my content. I think if they had a funnel which asked me questions about my company, and my services, and what are the most important things about them. That would help me get them the info they need to make me a great site that I'm happy with. For the record they did make me a great site which I am happy with ;)

DesignMaze built our website from scratch with only a few hand drawn sketches to guide them. After building the website they have continued to maintain it for several years with no issues. The team is talented and responsive. The work is thorough and quick. We strongly recommend any business to use the DesignMaze team for their web development needs.

They launched our website and then 2 years later refreshed the entire site with a more modern layout. They've helped set-up our ecommerce page, manage cyber security, create custom business email, and so much more.

They are extremely responsive. The work is always completed in a timely manner and they ofter go above and beyond such as creating a custom graphic or helping with logo design that was outside the scope of the original agreement.

While the team is quite responsive to edits and changes, the process would be even more efficient if they utilized a software tool such as markup.io
