Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Designik Agency has helped us build and improve several parts of our Shopify ecosystem as our business has grown. Their work has included improvements to our main ecommerce website, development and configuration of our dedicated wholesale website, customer account and ordering workflows, app integrations, payment and fulfillment configurations, and troubleshooting across our Shopify systems. They have also helped us develop more specialized parts of the business, including our rental and booking workflows and, most recently, a complete online fundraising program. The fundraiser system includes an organization application process, individual products and fundraiser bundles, flexible campaign specific pricing, shipping, pickup and local delivery options, GiveBack integration, organization and participant tracking, unique links and QR codes, Shopify order tagging, fulfillment workflows, and reporting for calculating organization payouts. A major part of the engagement has also been ongoing support and customization. As our business needs have changed, their team has worked with us to adjust existing systems, troubleshoot integrations, and build solutions that can continue to scale with Tanna’s Botannas.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest measurable outcome has been the number of new systems and workflows we now have in place that previously required much more manual work. We now have a dedicated wholesale website and ordering system, improved Shopify integrations and workflows, and a complete V1 fundraising platform that is ready for organizations to begin using. The fundraising system now supports organization applications, individual products and bundles, flexible campaign pricing, multiple fulfillment options, unique campaign links and QR codes, order and participant tracking, and automated Shopify tagging and reporting. We have also significantly reduced the amount of manual work required to manage these processes. Some of these systems are newly completed and have not been live long enough for us to provide meaningful long term sales or conversion metrics yet, but the project has given us a much more scalable infrastructure to support our continued growth.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management and communication have been great. Luke has been very responsive, keeps us updated on progress, and does a good job explaining our options when something can be approached in different ways. They have delivered what we have asked for in a timely manner and have also been flexible when priorities or requirements changed on our end. What I appreciate most is that they listen to what we are actually trying to accomplish instead of just completing a task exactly as originally described. When we change direction or run into a limitation with Shopify or an integration, they work with us to find a solution that still accomplishes what we need.

What was your primary form of communication with Designik Agency?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What has impressed me most is how flexible and solution focused they are. Our business has a lot of moving parts and sometimes what we need changes as we work through a project. Luke and the team take the time to understand what we are actually trying to accomplish and find a way to make it work. They do not just tell us something cannot be done when Shopify or an app has limitations. They explain the issue, give us different options, and help build a solution that works for our business. That has made them feel more like an extension of our team than just an outside agency.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Designik Agency could have done differently?

Nothing major comes to mind. Like any larger project, there have been a few things that needed adjustments or additional configuration along the way, but Luke and the team have always been responsive and willing to work through them with us. Overall, we have been very happy with the experience and the ongoing support.
