I needed a cover for my book.

I already had a vision for how I wanted my book cover to look, so I first discussed my ideas with Designed.co, and they created all the details around it. As part of my requests, I asked them to make the design purple because that’s the color of domestic violence awareness. After discussing my ideas, they presented four different options for the cover, and I picked the one I liked the most.

I found them on Upwork. Out of all the people who bid on the project, Designed.co was the only one that asked for specific details about my book.

I spent roughly $500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together throughout August 2022; It was a three-week project. However, they’re still doing some revisions for me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Designed.co delivered a better book cover than I could have ever imagined; it was very professional. They took my vision and turned it into a concept that was even better than mine.

How did Designed.co perform from a project management standpoint?

Designed.co offered a quick turnaround time, delivering ahead of schedule. They were also very responsive throughout the whole project,  and they even agreed to do the revisions at no extra cost, which was great. We communicated with their team through a platform they have on their site, which sent us an email notification whenever someone from their team left us a message.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The work done by Designed.co’s main point of contact was outstanding, and he explained everything upfront so that we had no surprises.

I’m the director of e-commerce and marketing for a bio-science and skincare company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Designed.co?

We wanted to ramp up a couple of things for our company. Our content and copy were dated, and I needed a capable design team to create new graphics, infographics, and banners for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Designed.co has created digital ads for us. Our packaging has been all over the place, so the team has worked on unifying our brand and preparing us for big-box retailer launches. Moreover, they’re helping us with naming our new products and rebranding existing ones, which include working on logos and packaging. 

To do all of these, they have a platform where we can start new projects. We input parameters around the project — we can give them examples if we want — and then their team responds to us. We can build out templates, and then their team creates the mock-ups. 

Moreover, Designed.co has done photography for us to help facilitate some of our ads and graphic designs. If we want to create something, they can shoot the product onto a green screen.

We work with Jeremy (Founder), Jason (CSO), Kasey (Co-Founder & COO), a designer, and a photographer.

I found Designed.co through the internet. I was searching for an east coast-based team and came across them. My team interviewed a couple of other vendors, but Designed.co stuck out because they were personable. No question was too small for them, and they were truly detail-oriented. Their follow-ups were strong, and they seemed to be a nice group of people that did good work. We could tell that we weren’t just a number to them — they cared about their clients, so we hired them.

We’ve invested around $70,000.

We started working together in October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our sales across the board have jumped 4X since we started working with Designed.co. 

How did Designed.co perform from a project management standpoint?

Designed.co has never missed any deadline, which is rare for other teams. Their response times are fantastic; if I reach out to anybody on their team, they respond within 30 minutes or an hour. 

In terms of tools, they have a proprietary platform that has project management tools. We’re able to use it to organize our projects while categorizing them based on their level of importance. We can switch their priority levels up or down depending on the situation.  

Overall, it’s easy to pivot between old and new projects using Designed.co’s platform. Everything is nice and neatly organized, and the deliverables come in multiple formats that fit any needs that I have. We communicate through their platform as well as through Google Meet. I also have Jeremy and Jason’s phone numbers so if I have a pressing issue, I can call them immediately. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Designed.co team is highly personable, and they care about their clients. Jason reaches out every Friday just to greet us with a happy Friday. Moreover, they’re highly involved in client relations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Everyone in their team is friendly, and they work hard for us — they’re doing a great job.

Hiring Designed.co is an easy decision. They’re true experts in their field. The more information you can provide them with, the more they’ll understand your brand. The more they do that, the better the results you’ll get.

I am the founder and CEO of a startup clothing company. I am currently putting in a patent application and trademark on my product.

I was looking for a company that understood my product and would produce packaging that met my needs and portrayed the brand I wanted to bring to the global market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Designed.co did all of my packaging design work. I'd already done a lot of the footwork to get the product off the ground because I have a degree in fashion and merchandising and I’ve worked in product development before — I knew exactly what needed to be done to develop the product.

I provided their team with the product, logo, three color schemes, and specifications of what I wanted. I needed a cutout in the packaging so that my customers could show the product's color because it will be produced in three different shades. 

I also showed them other packaging designs that I liked. We went back and forth, and I ended up providing them with additional information before the package design was completed.

I did an online search to find a company to help me with packaging. I found  Designed.co and looked at their background, portfolio, location, and price. They ended up being the perfect fit — it was a Cinderella story.

I spent $500 with Designed.com — it was very economical. It would have been more expensive, but I had already done a lot of the work.

Our partnership lasted from July–September 2021.

The Designed.co team successfully delivered the package design to me. There aren’t any metrics yet because it is a proprietary product and the patent hasn’t gone through yet. 

However, among my inner circle, I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback — they think the product will be really important. 

How did Designed.co perform from a project management standpoint?

They had excellent project management — they usually responded to my emails within 2–3 hours, and always within 24 hours. Their team delivered new designs and completed edits within 3–5 business days.  

They also laid out expected deadlines for each deliverable — they used a platform on their website to send deliverables and respond to emails. We also had meetings over Zoom. 

Jeremy was in the initial meeting; he stayed on board and was aware of the project throughout the duration. He was always present and part of the team — I’d give him a rating of 15 out of 10. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was a great fit and I can’t complain — I think they were a great company to work with. They responded to me promptly and provided deliverables quickly. 

I was so thrilled that I could find a company like them through an online search — they came through for me, understood and saw my vision, and delivered exactly what I was looking for. 

As a startup, I’m putting my life savings into developing this product and they’ve helped me through the first part of the process and provided me with excellent packaging.

I have no improvements for them.

My advice is for customers to follow their dreams and then relay them Designed.co — they’ll take a customer's dreams and materialize them. They’ll deliver what customers need — they can and know exactly how to deliver for everyone.

We looked at several design companies in the area; however, Designed Co had a great toll that allowed us to work remotely. It was easy to make changes with that tool and also share with other colleagues in my team.

Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of their designs when compared to other companies. They are professional and provide excellent customer service.

After a discovery call, they provided 3 designs for each type of debit and credit card and presentation folders. Then we had three rounds of changes.

Improving is and non ending task for any company; however, based on our experience with Designed Co, we only have good things to talk about it.

The design team took my existing logo along with the many ideas I had…and after just a few short back and forth adjustments, our new logos were designed!

The outcome and feedback that I have received was almost overwhelming. Everyone in our organization was so excited and impressed with how amazing the logos looked.

Everything was documented on line through my own account that was directly set up for my own logo design job. Communication was very smooth and timely.

What I found to be most impressive with this company is how easy they were to work with and how efficient the entire process was managed.

Honestly, I feel we all have room for improvement. But as for how my project was executed, I truly don’t see how it could have been any better.

I’m the president and creative director of Mad Rose Media, a digital marketing firm that specializes in alcohol, drug recovery facilities, and dental, orthodontic, and medical practitioners.

We use Designed.co’s operational platform, where we fill out a project brief that’s delivered to their team. Once the brief is delivered, they ask us questions directly or through the platform. Through it, Designed.co routinely matches us with designers tasked with executing our creative vision and following our direction. If need be, we hold Zoom or phone calls with their owner, art directors, and developers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Quantitatively, Designed.co’s response times are great, so deadlines are hit. On top of that, project communication is good; challenges, obstacles, and blind spots are always communicated respectfully, along with choices for solutions. On the qualitative side, when their design work comes back, we always like them. 

Moreover, Jeremy and Jason have a wealth of resources. For instance, if I need a copywriter to work with the designers, they always have 2–3 names for me. If I need a web developer, they always have 2–3 companies for me. In other words, they’re a solution provider that stays inside their expertise but always brings assets and resources to the table to help in the project if necessary.

How did Designed.co perform from a project management standpoint?

For project management, Designed.co’s platform is simple and intuitive. It’s easy to use and covers all bases; the file management and storage system are good, while the chat function works in real-time, making it easy to have answers to our questions. 

Moreover, Kasey (Co-Founder) is a highly qualified project manager, and she’s on top of everything we’re doing. We’ve never had any issues with her. To communicate, we use their online platform 80% of the time. If we need face-to-face communication, we use Zoom meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Designed.co does well in everything they do. They know who they are and what they’re good at, and they stay in that lane. That covers everything related to conceiving, executing, and delivering a design project is in their wheelhouse. Moreover, they know their place in the market, which is in the high-end portion, and they don’t apologize for being a high-end design firm. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Educate yourself on Designed.co’s platform. They have an extensive FAQ section, so use that. More importantly, engage with the art designer to know how to best use the system. Then, follow their guidance, because Designed.co has their clients’ best interests in mind all the time. They have no hidden agenda; the team wants us to succeed so they can also continue to grow.

I'll start out with saying I've owned 4 businesses over the last 30 years. Over that time, one of the biggest challenges has been creating a logo and a brand which exemplified my concept and ideas. I've used all sorts of individual 'graphic artists' and 'professional firms' over the years, to varying degrees of success.

Aside from having an in-house marketing and design team at my beck and call, Design.co has continuously exceeded my expectations in all aspects of my projects. Their ability to listen to my ideas and convert them in a thoughtful and impactful set of designs, colors, and branding to choose from has truly been a breath of fresh air.

What seems to set them apart is their ability to collaborate within their team of experts, coupled with their continual internal communications regarding upcoming, ongoing and past projects. Case in point, I'd paid for a logo design to be designed from scratch for a coffee shop I'm opening here in S. Florida. About a week after I'd already approved the work, I received a call from their program manager who said they were discussing my project from weeks ago and they collectively thought they could improve upon something I was completely happy with.

They set up a meeting the next day and ran some new ideas by me. Then, with no additional cost, they provided me another set of ideas to review. Low and behold, they improved upon an already amazing logo. No charge whatsoever...they just did the right thing. Amazing.

I run a boutique marketing consulting firm focused on the high-tech space. We spend our time understanding tech, how to position tech, how to build effective marketing campaigns, and how to execute on those marketing campaigns. They are my secret weapon and with their help I am able to position small tech companies in a way that automatically helps them compete with the tech titans.

I use them for work with my clients, but also for the branding of my own consulting company. I still remember getting back the logos from the Designed.Co team and my amazing designer Sam, the difference in quality between what they deliver and other firms is obvious. Yes, they are more expensive, but as someonoe who has used other design services,I can say the quality difference is very obvious.

I've used other design services in the past and knew I needed one I could trust so I started searching and 'interviewing' firms. Jeremy and the team at Designed.co were different than the others. They took a personal interest in my business, I grew to trust them, and that trust has been rewarded.

I typically give a series of 'inspirational' ideas either websites, videos, graphics, etc. Then I whiteboard and/or write a rough draft of what I want, and then I let them do their magic. For the logo, I gave them the target buyer persona profile, the archetype, etc. standard branding stuff, and they went off to the races to do their magic.

Primarily a project manager and my key desginer Sam. But Jeremy, true to his promise, did step in when it came to the overall branding project. They care about their customers and it shows.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I don't have metrics just yet, as i have not published my updated website. That said, the work they have done for my existing clients has been met with rave reviews. They have helped me prove my value by delivering something that others have remarked on with high-praise and enthusiasm.

They've built their own platform and are reasonably responsive to my many nit-picky demands. I have asked them to rush delivery in the past on projects and they have stepped up

The quality. Its obvious they have experience with high-end corporate wor. They continue to impress me with quality outputs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of off of the top of my head. It can take sometime to deliver on certain projects, but that is because they are doing research, focusing on theory and design best practices, and then delivering a foundation that you can build on. So it can seem longer from a delivery standpoint at times, but that is because it does take longer, since they spend more time and thought on pieces than other firms.
