How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Found them on a podcast that Lee Jackson ran about digital marketing.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

The initial project was for a year. We identified a few key geographic market to target including Ireland and UK. There are many components of the project with detailed timeline on what needs to be done each month. We focused on SEO and PPC.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Mainly two people from their team, one is the customer success manager Emily and the other one is the owner Tom. But there are a larger team behind the scene that is working together on our project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very happy with the results. Our total keyword ranking on Google changed from 1857 to 6258 over a year and total keywords on page 1 changed from 28 to 427. Total sessions driven by the keyword changes increased from 2,500 when pandemic hits to 12,800 this month. This is beyond the goal and metric we set at the beginning of the partnership.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Project management is amazing primarily due to their customer success manager, Emily! They communicated via Slack, Zoom and Click Up. Everything, big or small, is managed and communicated well and nothing is forgotten. Timeline is clear with monthly report.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The result is fantastic! The reason for such a good result is due to a standard workflow structure and the quality of their team. Their systematic SEO workflow is state-of-the-art. Everyone I spoke with on their team is highly qualified and we got amazingly great looking branded reports each month.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Backlinks could be explained more with the client in the future so that clients can appreciate more the value of those backlinks.

My business direction had evolved and the brand and website needed a complete overhaul to support my positioning as marketing coach for digital agency owners.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I approached a range of suppliers. I was impressed with their understanding of the needs of personal brand business and my target audience. I had seen some of their designs and I really liked the down-to-earth approach of the agency team. Their proposal offered me 3 attractive options which showed me that they got what I needed.

We had a discovery call. The team presented brand concepts. We explored feedback and finalized the new brand approach. I received the most gorgeous brand guidelines. They presented a design concept for the website for the homepage and other main pages. We agreed on it and then they built the site as soon as my content (photos and copy) was ready.

The team is now in charge of my YouTube and blog images. Plus the ongoing support and maintenance package is worth every penny. They're so responsive.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I highly recommend the Design Box Media team. They developed a new stunning brand for me from scratch and built my fantastic website. My target audience are digital agency owners (website designers!) and I had such amazing feedback from everyone. Within 2 weeks of launching the brand and site, I recruited 2 new coaching clients and I was invited to pitch for a significant annual coaching contract, so I'm seeing fantastic ROI.

No questions ever seems silly to ask, I really enjoy the Loom videos I receive when I get stuck with updating my blog. Final point - they really care about helping me to grow my business. How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their project management was outstanding. At every stage of the project did I know what the next step was. We communicated using an intuitive feedback system and Zoom calls. They were very responsive and delivered on budget and on time.

Their feedback system was amazingly easy to use, they recommended a copy writer who made content creation a joy. They even guided me before my photo shoot and how I could use the new branding across my social channels. Most importantly they gave me a lot of guidance on what needed to be in place to create a highly converting webpage, they helped me with a brand new lead magnet and brochure design as well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really care. They took a lot of time to understand our audience and message. The brand discovery process was so enjoyable and I'm so delighted with my new brand and website.  I feel my brand is in the best hands.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I give them a 5 star. I've recommended them to a leading sales coach who has also been super happy with her experience.
