We had a basic MVP which xCodes took over and moved it to the next level - a functional product.

Our product does automations for people working in sales, getting data from providers via APIs, as well as from the web via scrapping/crawling. We also had an integration with OpenAI which was developed and optimized, with more prompts and logic added.

The UX/design has also evolved and was moved to the next level, as well as the company web site and the integration with payment providers.

They also did all the documentation needed and more since our project is funded externally and we expect audits. 

Deliveries were within the agreed limits; some deadlines we had to extend when we were stuck in technical issues, but overall, they respected their commitments.

BRIO, as a Deep Tech SaaS educational platform that was conceptualised according to the most rigorous global standards – from a psychometric point of view it is based on Item Response Theory, which is the basis of the SAT and GMAT tests – Brio® was developed for mass market consumption, in order to assist children, parents, school teachers and institutions to boost educational performance and confidence. B2B part of Brio is addressed to schools and institution and key deliverables are:

The student sends a participation request to the teacher, following which the teacher, depending on his competences, creates sessions for the students. The teacher can start the session following the students participation. For payments, the platform is based on a credit system.

The platform is working without bugs. We already have subscribers ( teachers and students). We are confident that we'll become market leader in Romania amongst other similar platforms.

The team was since the beginning - very structured and organized. Every interaction we had was very lucrative and they always delivered on time and as promised. We started to have problems with goods inventory management, production management and customer orders. In the past we used general software that was more focused on accounting. As an administrator, I was interested in having access to stocks, production and customer orders. We wanted to have a custom software for our business to handle management. It was a requirement for the application to have invoices, goods, technological process and customer orders including money management in accounts. Another important part was that the application could be accessed in the phone's browser.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

In the past, the administrator of XCODES DEVELOPMENT helped me to create a website for a certain range of products that our company offers. I was very satisfied with the work he did and he helped me. After we made a scheme for the application, what I would like it to contain, we started to collaborate.

They started building a prototype together with the database architecture based on our wishes. There were many days in which we discussed and explained the technological process at our headquarters and in the production part. I had meetings for about 3 months while the project was being developed. In order to start the implementation they had to understand first of all how the business works and what problems we want to solve. A very interesting part was that they managed to come up with new solutions that we would not have thought possible.

There were 4 people I had discussions with. For the most part, the company's administrator, who can also be called the project manager, planned the entire application architecture and he understood very well how our business works. Besides the project manager, there were two programmers, a senior and a middle one, together with the designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed on time. A period of training followed for the administrators and for the operator in charge of adding the data in the application. A person from the XCODES DEVELOPMENT added some of the goods and technological processes so our operator to understand. After we started working with the program we really realized how much it helps. We could keep a very clear record of all stocks, production, customer orders, payments made to suppliers, etc. In half a year I felt a significant change in the company in control of the company, stocks of goods but also an increase in profit by about 30%.

The project management was great. They divided the project into deadlines. They told us how long certain parts were made. We had meetings online and at our headquarters. I had access to tasks on monday.com. While the project was developing it was updated on the server and we could authenticate and see the changes that were made.

They understood the company's problems. They managed to create the application according to our needs in a simple and easily accessible way. Another impressive thing were the new ideas and solutions found by programmers from a technical perspective. Also, our operator was able to adapt very easily and understand the application. Another very important thing is that we managed to keep in touch, and when we had questions they helped us.

Sometimes we got into too much technical detail for our knowledge, but in general we worked and we understood each other very well.
