I’m the owner of Emerald Valley Apparel. It’s a private label clothing company handling print on demand.

What challenge were you trying to address with D-Point Solutions LLC?

They’re helping me build my Shopify store through Wix. Their team is also handling my logo design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, I was working through my idea of how to create an online store and reached out to D-Point for a consultation. From there, we worked back and forth as they provided feedback and perspective about ideas. Once we were settled on the Shopify store, we moved onto my logo.

In the next steps, I’ll receive samples of my clothing that I can then photograph and send to D-Point. They’re going to put them on the website in our online catalog.

What is the team composition?

I work exclusively with Daniel (Owner), he’s my point person for everything.

How did you come to work with D-Point Solutions LLC?

I filled out an info request and received many inquiries. I talked to half a dozen vendors, and D-Point stood out because of their thought process and feedback. Daniel was very professional, and I liked his ideas. It was a good fit from the beginning.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested about $700.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The starting point was excellent and everything afterward has been great. I’m happy with the quality I’ve seen so far, and D-Point is open to feedback. Daniel is invested in making sure we see the final results I’m looking for.

How did D-Point Solutions LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Daniel is great at communicating with me, and I never have to track him down. He provides timelines and meets them. We’ll usually set a meeting and then communicate before that date to go over drafts and provide feedback. Overall, it’s been a positive experience.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Feedback and communication have been excellent. As I previously mentioned, I chose D-Point because of their professional manner. Daniel is clear and concise as well as more interested in listening to my idea than projecting his own thoughts. He has a great way of controlling the conversation without actually controlling it — he keeps it moving in the right direction while reiterating what he talked about clearly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there isn’t anything that needs improvement right now. I’m pretty happy.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be concise in what you’re looking for and articulate your goals as best you can. Follow up and provide feedback as you move forward.

What challenge were you trying to address with D-Point Solutions?

Our original web creator moved out of our area, so we didn’t have a lot of time to find another. We just had another outside person to load pictures and content. We were having difficulty finding instant workability.

If we wanted to post an announcement or photographs, it would take up to a week or two for that information to be on our website. The process was taking entirely too long.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I was originally searching for a writer to create employee bios. Daniel (Owner) mentioned he was a web creator and IT specialist. After working with that previous vendor, I contacted him again.

I asked for his opinion on our current website. He spoke about the number of different colors and fonts. We knew what we needed to change, and then we went from there.

If we want to add content and other elements to the site, we will just contact Daniel for his assistance.

We looked around on Freelancer.com and came across D-Point Solutions. Daniel answered our ad.

So far, we’ve spent less than $300.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement started in June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We recently launched the site, so it’s easy. Daniel will work on the metrics later on, but I’m not too worried about it. I think the website is great, and as time goes by, we’ll be able to see those metrics.

How did D-Point Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We speak on the phone and through email. Whether it’s offsite or onsite, the project management runs fine.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Daniel gives his opinions on specific issues. For example, if I wanted to put something on our website, he doesn’t provide a quick answer. He lets us know what he would like to see, and then give us his reasons. That professional opinion goes a long way. He also lets us know it’s up to us since we’re the owners.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not at this time. We’ll be working with him at least a year. During this pandemic, we’re trying to create better marketing to benefit our business.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would highly recommend him to help anybody that’s interested in web design and creation. Daniel’s fast, and he communicates well.

For what projects/services did your company hire D-Point Solutions LLC?

I was having trouble with DNS pointing and email integration between Wix (where my website is currently managed) and GoDaddy (which hosts my email and website).

What were your goals for this project?

I wasn't receiving emails, and the instructions Wix gave me made the problem worse. Then Wix would not return my requests for calls or support, and GoDaddy couldn't help me, because the problem was initiated on Wix's site.

SOLUTION

How did you select D-Point Solutions LLC?

Daniel, at D-Point Solutions, quickly understood the issues, developed a strategy, and implemented it.

Describe the project in detail.

Daniel assessed that since GoDaddy was maintaining the hosting for email and website, that the DNS should point to Wix, and GoDaddy should stay as host.

This was contrary to what Wix told me to do, and I had not known how to undo what Wix told me to do so that the email would work, and I would not lose my website.

I worked with Daniel, the owner, directly.

In less than 24 hours, everything was working perfect. Finally.
