I’m the content manager at Bigbasket, an online grocery supermarket.

What challenge were you trying to address with Custex?

We have a limited set of writers in-house and needed additional help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They write our product descriptions. When a manufacturer shares the details of the product they want to list with us, the Custex team does the writing about the product. They rearrange the specifications and then share it with us. They’ve already covered 500 SKUs for us and they’re doing a pretty decent job until now.

I interact with one person.

How did you come to work with Custex?

We looked at different agencies in the content writing space. We saw Custex’s profile and spoke to them. We liked it and gave them some of the sample work. We cross-checked it and found it to be on par with the Bigbasket’s quality level.

How much have you invested with them?

Our total investment has been about 25,000 Indian rupees (approximately $350 USD). We pay 57 Indian rupees per SKU.   

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2020 and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s too early for results. They started publishing content only two weeks ago. I’m happy with what they’ve created.

How did Custex perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is handled nicely. We communicate twice a week. The turnaround time is as expected. They’ve never let us down. The project lead knows her trade.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They ensure that our needs are always met.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As of now, they are doing what we’ve instructed them to do.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re quite professional. They have other big Indian clients also. If someone hires them, they’ll be satisfied with their work.

Basis reference from a Partner Brand, we provided some assignments & basis quality of output Custex was provided with full-time assignments.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While we kept achieving the goals for each assignment, the number of assignments is growing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It is on a daily basis & very regular interaction. If TaT is being met with quality specs, I think that answers the question.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are highly responsive.

Innovation specific to our projects is where we expect more from Custex.

We have checked so many agencies in Mumbai & New Delhi. After some samples work we have finalized Custex because we found the vendor is serious about his work & they don't compromise with quality.

After the selection on Custex, we have done a series of discussions regarding the assignment, whenever our team had raised any concern they understand our query & act the same.

Since beginning our work with this vendor, we definitely saw an impact on sales & also I feel it is due to their quality work. The app also looks good.

Everything can always be done faster, but we were very satisfied with their work.
