Just Property is one of the biggest Real Estate Franchise brands in South Africa. With over 120 offices nd 1000+ members Just Property has, for more than 15 years, managed to hold the number one position for the largest number of residential properties under rental management in South Africa. Just Property also operates in the residential sales, commercial sales and rentals, holiday rentals and body corporate space.

CRT was engaged to build out a PropTech platform solution that unified a number of internal and 3rd party services. The aim was to create a singular ecosystem that allowed the consumers to carry out the multiple facets of the "real estate lifecycle" seamlessly and with little resistance. Key deliverables included: 

• core framework utilising API endpoints to allow future proofing
• Building out several API integrations to 3rd party vendors
• Creation and design of the platform and all components within it

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Creation of back end data structure
• Creation of middleware and API logic and security 
• Creation of Fron end framework and UX Implementation of each SaSS module

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Delivery of nearly all key elements was on time and within budget. Due to external factors (Covid) some deliverable where re allocated. CRT were very responsive to change requests and took the time to re iterate the potential time and cost factors that these change requests may cause. 

A huge davantage was where a scope was not 100% complete it was not just thrown back but time was taken to provide possible solutions to missing elements and then through iterative engagment it was resolved or updated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

CRT has continuously provided excellent service and solutions. Their sense of fairness and approach to problems were refreshing in this sector.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CRT Group could have done differently?

In the begging of the project we had not established detailed reporting and feedback processes and timelines, so there was a small amount of frustration which was soon ironed out and we subsequently recived all our feedback's required for the remainder of the project.
