I hired Crowdspring to create a new logo for my new company.

A logo that would be liked by parents and children, and convey the offerings of our studio.

I researched many online crowdsourced design companies. Crowdspring was my choice to complete the project.

First, you describe what you are hoping to achieve/convey through a series of questions. This is used as a guide for the creatives. The creatives begin to submit their designs for 7 days.

After 7 days you are encouraged to launch a focus group. Through this feedback process, I quickly narrowed down my top 2 options. A few more minor tweaks and the final product was complete. The entire process took 10 days.

What was the team composition?

I worked with countless creatives through the process and 131 designs were submitted in 7 days. There is also a support team if you have questions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I haven't yet publicly launched my new logo, but those who have seen it are raving about the quality and excellence displayed in that first impression branding tool.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I was able to give feedback directly to creatives through their designs. If I needed to add a detail that I wanted all creative to be aware of- I simply added it as an internal note.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Everyone is very dedicated to finding the right balance for the client. The support team is by far the most real group of support folks I have ever encountered.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always room for improvement. I think that could be said or everyone and anyone.

How did you select this vendor?

I wanted to be able to show my client a range of logo designs with some being more traditional while others being more modern. Having multiple designers participate made it easier to provide a broader variety of choices.

Good design was most important. We were open to all colors (not to exceed four), designs and fonts, or combinations of icon integration or placement. The logo should reflect the company's new positioning which was provided in a creative brief.

The client was impressed with the quality and range of designs provided. They quickly focused in one one logo and were thrilled with the final look and image. This saved us both much time and energy and became a real win, win.

The Crowdspring website was very user-friendly. I received timely notifications at each stage of the process. The graphic designers were great to work with and very receptive to making changes.

I engaged Crowdspring to design a high-end, corporate-style logo and brand identity for my business, Signature Landscaping. I purchased their "Gold Package" specifically for Logo & Business Card design, with the expectation of receiving premium, professional results. The project scope included running a design contest to generate concepts, with the key deliverables being a final vector logo suite and print-ready business card designs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were no positive measurable outcomes from this engagement. The only result was a direct financial loss of $1,147.00, as the designs submitted were unusable for my business needs. I did not receive a viable logo or business card design that met the professional standards required for a premium brand. Consequently, I had to abandon the work provided by Crowdspring and restart the project with a different provider, resulting in wasted time and budget.

Regarding project management, the team delivered the items on time. However, their responsiveness to our needs was unsatisfactory. I reached out to their customer support via email to register a formal complaint, but the assistance provided was not helpful and failed to resolve the issue.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Regrettably, I cannot cite anything impressive about this company. The experience was defined entirely by the unhelpful customer support I received when attempting to resolve issues. It is difficult to view any aspect of their work as unique when the basic service needs were not met.

Are there any areas for improvement or something crowdspring could have done differently?

The primary area for improvement is their customer support quality. When I reached out via email to register a complaint, the assistance I received was not helpful. Crowdspring should ensure their support representatives are trained to provide tangible solutions rather than generic or ineffective responses.
