Crowdbox acheived the target quantity and in many cases delivered outstanding leads and appointments to the partner. Their delivery on the brief was great. We are looking to use Crowdbox again with our own campaigns in the coming months.

Well structured project co-ordination and ownership from Crowdbox's team makes these engagements very productive and successful. Weekly reporting and fortnightly group video calls ensure everything stays on track. Very responsive when queries came up, or appointments needed rescheduling. Again a testament to the nurturing activities the Crowdbox team do to ensure outcomes actually occur and are not missed.

The agency were really strong in their project management. They delivered everything on time and, in many cases, even over-delivered on the set targets we had agreed for the campaigns. Communication was clear, and we always knew where things were at.

They also made it really easy for us to give feedback, which meant we could quickly enhance activities when needed. Whenever we asked for changes or improvements, they responded straight away and worked them in without slowing things down. Their flexibility and responsiveness made the whole process smooth and effective.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Crowd Box provides us with sales development representative (SDR) services. We define the ideal customer profile (ICP) we want to target, and Crowd Box trains their SDRs on our go-to-market strategy, our product, and our call to action. The SDRs then set up discovery calls with potential customers and conduct a deep dive with our sales team.

The SDRs conduct research to find insights about potential customers, make cold calls and emails, and handle objections from prospects. They also do account mapping to determine who the best person to speak to is.

We use multiple platforms for lead generation, including clay.com, Apollo.io, and OpenAI. We also work directly from our own CRM, so the Crowd Box SDRs can track calls, meetings, and conversions.

In addition to our own needs, we also use Crowd Box's SDR services to support our clients. When we execute a go-to-market strategy for a client, we sometimes provide SDR support as part of the digital activity we're running.

We typically work with an account manager and the SDRs allocated to our project. We also have an executive relationship with the co-founders of Crowd Box.

Crowd Box has set up a meeting with the CRO of a strong business in the event management software space. They've closed our first global deal, which is one of the biggest deals we've closed to date. Crowd Box has generated close to $400,000 in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within the first six months.

The way Crowd Box manages us as an account is spot on. They have a very transparent communication style. The demand generation space can be a bit cutthroat, and I've been in the space long enough to know that not every lead will turn into an opportunity or closed revenue. However, Crowd Box has been really good at aligning with our expectations and working in a collaborative way.

Moreover, they come up with solutions when something isn't working, and they've been proactive in helping us understand our ICP and how to position our product. We're probably quite young compared to other clients they work with, but they've been really good at helping us go through the motions.

We use Notion for project management and reporting, and we communicate via Slack.

The innovation that Crowd Box Pty Ltd brings from an AI perspective is impressive. The lead generation space is quite traditional, but Crowd Box brings a new lens to the industry, which is refreshing.

Since Crowd Box is an Australian business and we're an Australian business, we operate on a similar clock. However, we also want to expand into the US and other markets, and Crowd Box is very much APAC-centric. That being said, they could consider branching out into different regions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend time thinking about the outcome you want to achieve before you engage with Crowd Box. Don't think about how much it will cost; think about how much a lead will cost. The reason our engagement is working really well is that I've spent a lot of time initially going through the pipeline I want to achieve and working backward. Crowd Box is really good at modeling what a demand generation pipeline looks like.
