One of the project we worked on with C&B was the design and development of our website. The project was straight forward and developed using Hugo and Sanity CMS.

• The feedback we received from our customer was incredibly positive. They were impressed with the significant improvement in the speed and fluidity of the website compared to its previous state. This suggests that the changes made to the website have resulted in a smoother and more enjoyable user experience, which is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and engagement.

Their team demonstrated a high level of responsiveness; they were always available to address any concerns that arose. We held weekly "work in progress" meetings, where the team provided updates on the project's status, discussed any challenges encountered, and reviewed the next steps to be taken. The primary mode of communication used was Slack, which allowed for efficient and effective communication between all team members, enabling the project to progress smoothly.

I was thoroughly impressed with both the project and the outcome that we accomplished, and I cannot think of anything that they could have done differently.

I am the Co-Founder of an EdTech start-up called EdTripper. EdTripper is a platform that enables teachers to search, discover, book and manage school field trips. We also work with leading attractions to publish their world class exhibits and learning programs to educators

For what projects/services did your company hire Croissant & Baguette, and what were your goals?

We engaged with Croissant & Baguette (C&B) to build out the MVP of the EdTripper platform. We had been using a basic wordpress site to launch our product with little success. We approached C&B to update and launch the office MVP as a test case on the next phase of the project. Not only did C&B support the development of the platform, they were influential in the design and execution of EdTripper. Our goals was to launch a V1 of EdTripper to capture the data we needed to continue to grow, we could not have achieved this without C&B.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online and via personal networks to 6 potential vendors for this project. I selected Croissant & Baguette on the bases of past projects, knowledge of best in class tech and process as well as design skill.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Once we had established the outcomes we were looking to achieve in our scoping meeting, Croissant & Baguette briefed the designers. Once the team had delivered the wireframes, they started developing the product using the Javascript framework - Svelte. This helped support the speed and dynamic nature of the product that we needed. With weekly WIP's on the project, we saw a sandbox of the product within the first weeks of the project and clear deliverables were executed weekly.

A project manager was my main point on contact and we also used a designer and 1 developer from their team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The feedback from the product and design has been nothing but outstanding from our customers (and also investors) We can now use this MVP to further develop our product and raise further capital.

We had daily stand-ups with the team and larger weekly WIP's to manage progress. The main communication channels were slack and email. the team were extremely responsive at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge and input are what impressed me the most. Their understanding of what we were trying to achieve was outstanding. They took the time on research our industry and support us to achieve our goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing that they could have done differently, I was very impressed with the project and the outcome we achieved.
