We needed a fully e-commerce-based website as part of the next phase of our business. Our goal, is to gradually move more from showroom-based sales, to online sales which will enable us to compete with national companies. To achieve this, our new website needed to be clean, vibrant and present all of the relevant information clearly without being 'cluttered'. 

However, the most important thing was that our new website appealed to our core demographic, 45-55-year-olds, of which not all are familiar with the technology. So, above all else the website had to be easy to use/ navigate. We're a relatively small team, as such were looking for ways to reduce the time our salespeople would take conducting a sale. 

Before the launch of the new site, we would have to spend hours going through all of the relevant products, key considerations, what was needed before delivery, the different payment options. We wanted customers to have had the opportunity to absorb all of this information before calling us or visiting the showroom, freeing our guys up to work on their leads and ultimately close more sales. 

Plus, having all of the relevant information on the new site would make training up new salespeople much easier. As we have such an extensive product range, this has been quite time-consuming in the past. One of the main features that we needed was a finance calculator which could be adapted from product to product. This isn't easy to do, which is why it's not something that any of our current competitors have. 

We also wanted customers to be able to price up their own products, choose their finance package and then add it to the cart. As mentioned, we have a range of around 300+ products, with around 150 of them being complex, high-ticket items £3,000 - £55,000 each. 

With such an extensive range it was important to us that we could have an easy to use, user friendly filter system. We also requested that core information was displayed on the listing section, so that users could compare and contrast different products before clicking on them. Ultimately making the buying process easier.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Firstly, I would like to say that this has not been an easy project. However, Chris and the whole of the Creative Branding team have been especially attentive. Ensuring at every point that I was 100% happy before we moved forward. I requested to be involved in the development and wireframing process which I was from the beginning. 

I have consistently been surprised by how professional they are and how well they work together as a team. The measurable outcome is that I am extremely happy with our new website, within just a week of launching the new site we had two sales through the store amounting to £10,000. We are ranking for keywords which we never have before and again, the website has only been live for a few weeks. 

Every customer has commented on how great and easy to use the site is and our engineers have successfully used it to download manuals and key information. I can not recommend these guys enough, we have other projects in the pipeline of which I will most certainly be using Creative Branding. 

In my opinion, we have the best website out of any of our competitors. Thank you, guys, for being so amazing and getting any issues that we had resolved in record time. I genuinely couldn't be happier with their service.

The project management was brilliant, as mentioned I had requested to be involved in the wire-framing and envelopment process. During the design stages, I was able to provide feedback on the project through 'In vision' which I felt was seamless. Chris clearly has a fantastic team of people working with him who all communicate effectively. 

The project was delivered to me on time (admittedly I held things up as I loaded the site with all of the information we had, which took time.) If I am honest, I have changed my mind a few times with certain things and fair play to the team, they were more than happy to accommodate which I appreciate must have been very frustrating. But, not once have they complained or refused to do something for me. 

Customer service is clearly at the forefront of everything that they do. Following on from that, there have also been new features that I thought of as we moved along with the project, again the team was happy to accommodate. They're easy to deal with and professional throughout.

The most impressive thing about this company is their attention to detail, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile. Of course, they create absolutely stunning websites which I really can't fault. We have had a website created by another company in the past, this was a completely different experience. This just goes to show, buy cheap, buy twice.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received several designs for the main page on the site. Once we chose a theme, they finalised the design and provided feedback through InVision. This allowed us to show them how we wanted the rest of the site to look. The vendor came back to us with designs for our other pages, including an updated "contact us" form.

In total, we worked with 4 people including a project manager, two designers, and a QA resource during the final phase.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their documentation was very thorough. Our developers were able to implement their design easily, and the overall look is much more user-friendly. Site traffic has increased by 70% and we continue to hear positive feedback and compliments from visitors about the design.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had both in-person and phone calls, but most of the feedback was through Slack. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be me

We were impressed by the knowledge they had about website design, UX, and optimization. We appreciated that bthey were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed.

Things could always be done faster, but quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a great website design and layout.

After a series of comprehensive but friendly meetings discussing our vision and ideas we worked closely with the CB team to make sure we all lined up on point with the goal of the project. There were numerous iterations and design changes from interested parties due to the expansive nature of the website and incorporation of 3rd party activity vendors and our ticketing platform before testing and launching could take place.

Since launch we have had ample feedback from the general population, 3rd party operators and the Government of Gibraltar to express their awe at the overall sleekness with f the design and ease of functionality l.

The creative brand team was extremely easy to work with. No change or task was too much for them to undertake and always with a smile on the faces. It was a thoroughly enjoyable project and the overall success of the launch proves that the expertise behind the website was too notch.

The most impressive aspect of Creative Brand was their willingness to go above and beyond without any real limitation on their time. They genuinely believed in what we were trying to achieve, and the final product spoke to this ethos.

We had our initial interview with Creative Brand Design to outline what we wanted from our new website and we completed a design questionaire. Scope of work included design, development, hosting, an eCommerce store, Nd a daily XML feed from a third party site.

We had a dedicated project manager who outlined the project steps with time frames which included Discovery Wireframing, Prototyping & Concept Delivery, Development, Extended Operation & Functionality, Content & Tweaks, Testing & Launch. The web design was uploaded to the Invision App software for us to view and add comments.

A project manager was our main point of contact who worked with a development team and digital marketing team behind the scenes so we only had to liaise with one person for the whole project which made communication alot easier.

After launching our new site, our traffic, enquiries and leads have increased and many people have commented that they love the modern, interactive design and features.

She continously updated us throughout the project, always picked up the phone and was more than happy to have weekly teams calls with us to share ideas and help us develop the content on our website. Our website has been very effective in promoting our tourism business and has helped us to maintain good occupancy levels throughout challenging times. Creative Brand Design have been very responsive and have helped us to amend various aspects of our site through the years including our booking calendar, our access to analytics, updating our site for GDPR compliance and adding information around COVID response.

I am the publisher of The Yemen Times, Yemen's first and only independent English language newspaper established in 1990.

Because of the invasion in Yemen, the paper stopped in 2015. In 2021 we managed to raise funds with YT supporters and in partnership with Creative Brand Design we designed a new website in which we restored most of the newspaper's archives. Migrating the archives was a very challenging task because of the different formats and lack of quality pictures.

We had over ten potential vendors from all over the world. The company's reputation and the cost effectiveness of the project were the determining factors.

We had several meeting in order to identify what we needed and explain the history and potential audience of our newspaper. This was a new project for CBD since it is likely the first newspaper they worked with. However, they worked with organisations with similar requirements and they were confident that they can do the job. We agreed on the wire frames and general layout of the website. They also helped us with redesigning the logo without losing our identity.

The focal point was Daniel who was friendly and helped us get the best out of this project. He was the main person between us and the rest of the team. We also communicated briefly with Georgia on financial issues such as invoices.

You can see the archives at www.yementimes.com (starting from 27th Feb 2023). Creative Brand Design helped us create the landing page until the site launch. In the landing page we had a subscription option for people to be informed when the site will be up.

The migration of the archives was the most challenging. But we soldiered through especially that we had people in Yemen digitising the content from the paper archives and support from YT family Walid to make the archives accessible to CBD. It was a great partnership.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked their style of design and the creativity in the presentation. We couldn't get the most of this -yet - because for now the site is only an archive. But when we return The Yemen Times to be fully operational this beautiful design will be more visible. Another impressive aspect is the company's knowledge of WordPress and the various tools to create great websites. Also, Daniel was patient and helpful. As we progresses in the implementation we kept facing issues and he was ready to work with our team to resolve them.

We redesigned our website to have a fresh modern approach, whilst also reducing the amount of text, making it more interesting for the viewer and easier to navigate.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We came across them on a website promoting award winning UK web designers. We liked the look of some of their previous projects and after interviewing a selection of designers felt most confident in their approach.

We began with a kickoff meeting for them to understand what we do, our core values and how we wanted to reflect that in design. The team then worked to create wireframes of how each page would look and we would approve these or make changes.

Once happy the developers then created the site, where we were then able to make further edits. The team were great to work with as they taught me along the way how to edit the site, meaning we could be self-sufficient and make changes quicker. Once all was approved by our team we launched the site and monitored any issues.

We mostly communicated directly with the project manager who then spoke with their team. This worked well as it reduced the amount of people we had to deal with and could have one reliable contact.

We have had lots of feedback from costumers liking the design.

We started off with one contact during the wireframe stages, then got passed on to someone else for the development stages. We realised this was confusing as some co,communication got lost so we requested to work directly with the project manager which worked out better. We communicated mostly through emails and the occasional teams call.

They helped us with learning how to navigate the site's backend throughout the whole development. They were super quick to respond and make any changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some foresight for launch could have helped us as we totally forgot about google analytics and missed out on 2 days worth, maybe a launch pre-check list for their clients. Also a fair amount of pages that weren't linked correctly, which could have been reviewed better, but I appreciate we changed our launch date so they had other projects on.
