BYOHM is a UK climate technology company developing next-generation bio-electrochemical systems that transform wastewater treatment into a net energy-positive process while enhancing anaerobic digestion to increase biomethane production. Its proprietary platform converts organic waste into clean energy in the form of hydrogen and biomethane, while simultaneously treating water to aid in reaching environmental discharge standards.

The scope of work included a complete rebrand of the business, transitioning from Wastewater Fuels to BYOHM. Key deliverables included the development of a new brand name, the creation of a distinctive visual identity, and the design and build of one-page website. In addition, a comprehensive brand toolkit was produced, featuring brand guidelines, tone of voice direction, and a suite of custom brand motifs and graphic elements to support consistent and recognisable brand communications across digital and print touchpoints.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

CreateInc. delivered a fully redefined brand identity for BYOHM, including a new visual identity and a one-page website, completed ahead of a key investment round. This provided the business with a consistent and professional brand system that could be deployed across investor materials and external communications. As a result, BYOHM entered its fundraising stage with a more credible visual presence, enabling more confident engagement with potential investors and stakeholders.

The project was managed in a clear and organised way, with deliverables completed on time and aligned with the agreed timeline. Communication was consistent, and responses to feedback were prompt and flexible.

The team's depth of knowledge and commitment to the project were impressive. It felt like a genuinely considered collaboration rather than a transactional process. They quickly understood the specifics of BYOHM’s niche market and brought useful insight into what was needed for an investor-ready rebrand.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Create Inc. could have done differently?

A few small improvements could be around final proofreading, as some spelling on the website felt like they hadn’t had a final polish. Given the fairly tight timeframe, a little more time would likely have allowed for extra refinement across the detail and overall finish.
