I'm the Internal Communications and Employer Branding Director at Payoneer, a fintech company, publicly traded on the NASDAQ.

CRC Media helped us with all our video needs for going public - from a short inspirational video for employees, to a 4-continent, on-site production of a customers video.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with CRC Media in the past on smaller projects and so this was the natural choice for us.

We approached CRC in February 2021 as we announced we are going public. In preparation for the event, we identified 3 projects:

1. Internal video celebrating the company's milestones.
2. External video celebrating our customers
3. Video graphics to be used during the Nasdaq ceremony on Times Square tower, inside the Nasdaq studio and (much) more.

These resulted in close work with CRC's designers, editors, directors and more. We had a project manager for each of the videos who worked with CRC. The most complicated video was the customers one, which required coordination with production teams in China, Pakistan, Ukraine, Australia and the US. CRC were very specific with the look and feel requirements, which made the final product simply amazing.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with three main points of contact: Elad, Yoav and Yarin who were responsible for the whole project. Whenever a draft was ready we received it on Dropbox and were able to add comments directly to the video, at the timestamp that needed fixing. We then received a message once a new draft was ready.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The videos were part of our celebrations and were shared with all employees internally as well as customers, investors, vendors and potential candidates. We are still amazed at the product considering the very short time frame.

CRC are very easy to work with - they will adjust to your style. For us, a Whatsapp group was the easiest way to communicate.

They were extremely professional and creative while pushing us to make the video better.

Creative Briefs from out organization tend to be very broad stroke. CRC takes our initial concepts from discovery call and brings them to life via storyboards. Team is extremely professional while on-site filming and execution.

Would love a longer runway on projects, but unfortunately most projects are short turnaround due to internal processes.

I am a senior executive product marketer at Check Point Software Technologies, the world's leading cyber security company.

Since beginning my work with CRC in 2015 I have produced with them videos and commercials promoting cyber security products for mobile, endpoint, and enterprise networks.

What were your goals for this project?

As always, we were trying to explain complex technology simply and with emotional impact so that prospects would be able to understand the value that Check Point delivers.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Quite simply I was referred to CRC by a colleague. This is how CRC operates. They never lose a client. They acquire new ones through referrals and work with them for years, and if the client moves from a particular company they always bring CRC with them..

Each of the 10 videos I've done with CRC begin with a discussion to establish objectives, creative approach and budget. Generally, I would produce a script and we'd kick it around a few times. A video is only as good as the script, and CRC makes sure that we generate the best scripts possible. I truly value the input of various CRC producers' input. After scripting, I would receive animated story boards, a first draft and a final cut. CRC specializes in very quick turn-arounds, and unfortunately I've had to accelerate timelines for a variety of reasons. No matter whether CRC has a week or two to produce a video or a more reasonable timelie their work is stellar.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

By now I speak with CRC's producers in half-sentences because we know each other so well. That said, after each milestone we have a conversation or an email exchange and the next step is completed lightning quick.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the end of the day it's about views and how well the video communicates across geographies. The tens of thousands of page views are the only KPIs we need.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

CRC specializes in client management, as noted above. I've referred them to many other colleagues who have nothing but praise for their work.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were creative, valued client management, and never missed a deadline. Always made me look like a genius (which I'm not) Final product is always more than I ever dreamed

Are there any areas for improvement?

Thought long and hard about this question, but I've never worked with an outfit as together as CRC. I don't know how they keep so many happy customers.

All employees were able to view the stream live across our global locations in different timezones and without any trouble.

Very effective, all comments and change requests were done without question and with the utmost respect to our needs.

Their flexibility and professionalism in stressful times impressed us. Elad and the team are very experienced and even when some test sessions did not go as planned. They were prepared, backups on backups to make sure we are successful.

Perhaps only checking the electricity needs and how the equipment was wired before the tests began.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

One of our most challenging project was a multiple video portal (16 to be exact.) This was shot with multiple company spokespeople across all continents. Within 10 weeks from green light we had all materials ready. People who experienced the portal, which is used to on-board new employees, found it extremely useful and enlightening. The general feedback was that the initial experience of the employee with their new company was more comfortable as they were exposed to all they needed to know in a very organized, friendly, welcoming and clear fashion.

Elad and team are great communicators and work 24/7 to meet your end goal.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

CRC are problem solvers and will work with any challenge you throw at them.

Because they are always up to any challenge sometimes when working with crazy deadlines, you have to keep an eye out for errors. I think though this is true whenever there are multiple people working on a complex task with a challenging deadline.

We have several in-house and external options for each project and we reviewed costs, reference clients and time frame with each vendor.

CRC first helped us create a concept and clean up a script. Afterward, we scouted locations based on scenery and cost across NYC, selecting a perfect spot for a 2 day shoot. CRC managed the scouting process for local talent, the entire wardrobe selection detail, and had a mix of local and hired contractors on location. CRC also helped us through several edits and executive approvals needed to complete the project on time and within budget.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

CRC leverages project team members in a follow-the-sun approach that allows work to be done after hours and ready for review the next early A.M. While using tools such as HighTail, we were able to provide feedback, discuss changes and keep to schedule.

Our team enjoyed a perfect reception of the video at our event and gave us the balance of humor and education we needed to meet our management team’s goal.

CRC has connections and team members in a variety of markets and was able to use our budget to create a finished product that looked far superior to our original idea. Each time our team got stuck in an idea or challenge they presented options that helped us stay on track.

Often we had to balance the cost of using our in-house resources and to no fault of CRC, but project budgets were tight. In the end, we were glad we spent the extra money to produce a professional product.
