We communicated our vision for the final deliverables and they Craftoon produced 10-3D animations, in addition to live-action videos. The process included feedback and corrections.

We started working with them in September 2017 and the project ended in February 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The videos increased brand awareness and received nearly unanimous positive feedback. We were happy with the team’s performance and may engage them again.

How did Craftoon perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated instructions, requests, and corrections via Slack, email, and phone. The team responded quickly and was open to discussing our vision, which made the relationship very easy for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We didn’t expect them to complete work so quickly. Around the midpoint, we requested several corrections and Craftoon made these changes without complaint. The experience was very satisfying.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, because they fixed anything that didn’t meet our standards. The delivered product met our expectations for quality.

I’m a business manager at a silo manufacturer called Silowave. While we serve various markets, we seek to position ourselves mainly within the Russian market.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Craftoon?

Because the silo industry lacks a strong marketing and social media footprint, we wanted to distinguish ourselves from our competitors by taking a digital approach. As such, we needed resources to create a series of promotional videos that showed off 3D models of our products. We also wanted corporate videos that showed our clients more about our offices and business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Using our initial concepts, they covered all aspects of the process, from storyboarding and filming as well as post-production editing and animation. In total, they produced 6–7 videos. For the 3D animations, they created four models, one for each of our products. For the corporate videos, they filmed our largest silo project using a drone and also filmed the interior of our offices. After finishing the project, they offered suggestions on different applications for the videos as well as distribution channels.

What is the team composition?

We primarily worked with the project manager, art director, and marketing specialist.

How did you come to work with Craftoon?

One of our colleagues from our industry worked with them to make 3D models. They recommended Craftoon to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $200,000–$260,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work lasted from July 2017–January 2018. However, we plan on working with them in the upcoming months for a new product launch.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the videos and marketing our products, we’ve seen a significant rise in user engagement. Before, only 15% of people responded positively to our outreach, but, now, 50% of the people who see our offers contact us. We currently use Craftoon’s 3D animations in our presentations and product briefs. Prospective clients can now watch our video and understand how our products work, which has been immensely helpful.

How did Craftoon perform from a project management standpoint?

They executed the project using an agile approach and communicated every step of the way. Moreover, they met deadlines ahead of time, and their prices were very competitive. If we wanted to implement any small changes, they did it at no additional cost. I also appreciated that they gave us an extra 15 seconds of animated footage.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical skill and suggestions have been extremely helpful to us. Despite how difficult it can be to understand our market, Craftoon had a strong grasp of our mission and fulfilled all of our needs. They took the time to educate themselves about our industry, doing competitive research and testing their videos across users with different backgrounds. Above all else, they believed in our mission and adjusted to our industry requirements.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust the team and their experiences. And don’t be afraid to communicate your needs, even if you don’t know certain technical terms. They were always happy to explain the process to us, and they gave informed reasons for their production choices. When we didn’t understand the difference between certain cameras, they diligently showed us how the footage would look so that we could make a decision.

We communicated regularly, and it was enjoyable working with them. Their project management was smooth and efficient.

They are transparent and flexible with requested changes. They worked quickly and ensured that the videos matched what we envisioned.

Keeping an open flow of communication is critical. If requests are clear, they are receptive.

We wanted to develop our client base in the American middle class, so we were looking for a video marketing partner to develop a few corporate films for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had some ideas for the videos, so they helped us build out those ideas and develop a storyboard and a script. Then, they produced three animated videos that we can use on our website and in our email marketing campaigns.

We were referred to them by one of our partners.

We started working with them in January 2018 and the project was completed in March 2018.

We can see that their marketing was effective because we had a good response rate from the email campaigns that we ran. We were able to grow our client base and fulfill our KPIs.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They understood all of our needs and helped us figure out how our ideas would work. Also, they brought a lot of creative ideas to the table.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The corporate videos present us in a professional manner and reflect our mission.

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As long as you communicate your needs clearly to them, they can help you build out your ideas. They're easy to work with and do a great job.

I am a business development manager for one of the leading chemical manufacturers in our country. We have products dedicated to agriculture, chemical processing, plastics, and construction. I am working for one of our main units, which specializes in the production of oxo alcohols.

What challenge were you trying to address with Craftoon?

We needed a partner that could produce a 3D animated video to showcase our oxo alcohol product.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Craftoon produced one animated video and one corporate video for us. Their creative team wrote a script for our 3D animated clip. They were really helpful while we discussed all the tasks. The corporate video featured short interviews with our crew and a basic summary of our company.

I’ve worked with around 10 people from their team, including a project manager.

How did you come to work with Craftoon?

They'd previously built two websites for us. We considered other companies, including a large PR company in our region, but chose Craftoon.

The corporate video cost $700,000, and the animation project cost around $200,000.

We worked with Craftoon between January–May 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Craftoon has a very young, creative crew. It was a good experience for us, and we will work together in the future. 

Their animation showcased our product and was a good advertisement for our clients. The corporate video worked very well for PR and sales. We tracked analytics for internal purposes and determined that the animated video had a positive effect on our company. 

How did Craftoon perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project manager was very focused. They were very helpful, creative, and open-minded about every task or issue. Their communication was very flexible. We could contact them anytime through Slack or Skype. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about Craftoon is their very creative team. It was very important to us. We need such people when creating video content.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Like every company, they need more people on their team. They have some very good video and content marketing specialists, but will need to expand.

Don’t worry about any problems. Be open-minded and trust the team. They are very good specialists in their area.
