Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Ground up design layout and development of new "Hub" pages for AppleInsider.com that generate dynamic layouts based on the keyword / key phrase for high-traffic topics such as MacBook, iPhone, iPhone 18, Apple Watch Ultra 4, iCloud, AirPods and so forth. Process included several rounds of comps and conference calls, followed by a finalized figma file with all necessary layouts and key assets. Complete redesign of the site's primary navigational components and nav bar.

Material improvements to reader content discovery, driving a longer tail of performance for key content.

Crafted team members were punctual for all meetings and exhibited a sincere desire to understand our objectives, help us brainstorm the best possible solutions, and then execute upon them. All materials were delivered in a timely manner and they were readily accessible when we had questions or concerns.

I'm the marketing and communications director at Repertorio Español, a Spanish Repertory theater in New York City.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafted?

We wanted to increase ticket sales, donations, and online presence, so we hired Crafted to help us with rebranding, website design, and development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the engagement with rebranding. Crafted surveyed theatergoers and staff and gathered input from board members of the theater. We're a nonprofit and a niche Latino theater, so we don't have a broad audience. Crafted did research and surveys before starting the process.

After that, Crafted built our website from scratch. The team designed and developed it. The website is based on WordPress and has features like an About Us page, a Contact Us page, and more. It's a complex website with tickets, productions, and programs.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people directly. Andres, our project manager, handled all the meetings and organized everything. Peter, Crafted's CEO, led the whole project. They provided another person to be in charge of the graphics and the design.

How did you come to work with Crafted?

We found Crafted through a Google search and LinkedIn. We did a lot of research about different companies and looked at their current clients. We reached out to Crafted, and they were the chosen ones.

The team had a few clients here in New York City then. I went to their websites, and since our project focused on rebranding and developing a new website, Crafted was the best bet for it.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2023–March 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We increased our visibility in search engines and sales. Our new website was optimized, so we wanted it to rank better in search engines, and we noticed a 10% increase in sales.

Crafted's quality of work was outstanding.

How did Crafted perform from a project management standpoint?

Crafted delivered the work on time and within budget. The team communicated well with us. We used phone calls, emails, Google Docs, Dropbox, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Crafted's capacity to manage a lot of information was impressive. Their structure for managing the whole project was fantastic, and the process was smooth. They were open to working with us to get the best results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don't have any comments about that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know your company and organization better. Work closely with Crafted without wasting time because that can be a waste of money.
