I’m the director of Trailertrek Towbars, a towbar fitting company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Core Design Communications?

We had a small website that wasn’t functioning well and causing us to lose business. I needed to take my business to the next level, so I turned to Core Design to help me out.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Core Design began with a discovery process to understand what we do and who we want to reach, They also dove into how our customers could contact us and what best possible way we could interact with them. Once they had that information, the team went into designing and developing my website on WordPress. They build it in such a way that it would be faster and more responsive than its previous version.

Core Design also created optimized blogs and website content to make sure that we could reach the right customers and increase our business. To help us catch up with the times, they created Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts for us as well. 

They continue to tweak and update our website every now and then. Right now, they’re in the process of setting us up on Trustpilot. 

What is the team composition?

I have two main points of contact, one of whom is Paul (Owner).

How did you come to work with Core Design Communications?

I interviewed three different web design companies and invited each of them to provide a pitch. Among them, Paul seemed like the best person to do my project. He and his team took the time to really understand my goals and my client base. Their communication skills were also the best out of all the other companies. I felt confident that he and his team had the ability to take my business to the next level.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested £15,000–£20,000 (approximately $20,000–$27,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2018. Our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I went into this project hoping to expand our reach from Coventry to across the Midlands, and Core Design has helped me achieve that. They’ve taken my business to the next level by creating a website that could help us grow our customer base. They’ve also improved our page ranking on Google, which has enabled us to get more hits and receive more phone calls.

How did Core Design Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

Core Design listens well to me and understands what I want to achieve. They continuously improve their services, provide several design options for me to choose from, change any aspect of the work that I don’t like, and advise me on the best way to reach my goals. Their team also tells me upfront if there is any material that they need from me. 

We communicate over email and Zoom, but Core Design accommodates my preference to meet regularly in person or talk over the phone. They provide a very personal service.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Core Design’s customer service is second to none. The way they’ve turned my company from a small business to a medium-size entity is amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can't think of anything. If I’m not happy with a certain design, they bend over backwards to produce something that satisfies me.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You can be your authentic self with them because Core Design doesn’t put on a corporate front. They're polite, courteous, and respectful, and you can expect to work with a team that understands your business, delivers great customer service, and does research to help you achieve your goals.
