The final result exceeded expectations and attracted considerable international interest for its ability to simplify a highly complex service, while not overlooking any essential details for understanding the service itself.

• new design system

  • experience pages (sailing vacations)

  • personal areas, internal marketplace messaging

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new markeplace has only been released a few months ago, which is why it is still too early to show significant improvements over the legacy platform. Key business KPIs and web metrics, however, indicate major improvements for the time being.

Communication with the project manager and the rest of the team was always fast and effective. The delivery of the various project outputs was in line with the planned schedule.

I’m a key officer at South Flowers, a legal cannabis company. We’re a licensed association in southern Malta focused on cannabis harm reduction and responsible use, operating under ARUC authorization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Colla Studio?

We needed to create a brand identity that felt agricultural yet premium, highlighting our expertise as master growers. We also needed to create a website that didn’t promote cannabis use in any way but instead told our company’s story.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Colla Studio’s work helped us pass Maltese regulatory inspections. The website also invited prospect members to subscribe, and we got 250 new subscribers. We also received positive feedback from regulators and subscribers; many members commented that the website was great and well-designed.

How did Colla Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Colla Studio’s project management was good; they delivered on time. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

The goal of the project was a complete redesign of our Shopify store with the focus on improving conversion rate, mobile usability and user experience (especially on the product pages). The budget for the entire project was approx. 20k euros.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Average cart value increased due to bundles design on PDP
• Increased CR from 1.6% to 2.6% (approx. 62% increase)

Design and UX process was very good. Communication mostly via virtual meetings and Slack channel. During development, the open items were not fully transparent at first, but later a Jira board was established for a better project tracking on both sides.

We really enjoyed the design approach of Colla studio and the way the first concepts were presented. They did deep research and had a lot of great ideas to improve our product presentation online. We also enjoyed the small size of the team and the direct communication with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Colla studio could have done differently?

The development part (which was optional) was not very transparent at first, but later they introduced a project management platform (Jira) which helped a lot.
