UX/UI design work to create a new web app for misinformation discovery and data analysis. The app is a tool to guide and support workflows for infodemic management. It is a web-based portal available 24/7 but it is not a dashboard. 

It is an easy-to-use operational tool to aggregate real public health rumors and misinformation from the field and make localized infodemic response possible via an AI-powered recommendation engine for best available debunking content and accurate health information. 

Key deliverables included:

COdizajn stood out from the competition because Andrea and her team understood what was needed for project success without a lot of hand-holding. Other vendors I interviewed appeared to treat my project as a paint-by-numbers and mostly wanted to know how much "work" was involved. 

COdizajn was more interested in understanding the end users and overall objective of the project, and we were able to get on the same page there quickly.

Offer more color scheme options up front without me asking.

Our company is looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to start on a new project.

We meet Andrea and her team through Upwork while we are searching for the best UI/UX developers that we could find within our budget. After meeting few other vendors, Andrea & her teams came to the top. Even though their initial asking price was above our budget, they understand our difficulties as a start-up and are willing to lower down their price to our expected budget in the hope to gave us a helping hand to launch our project.

Even with their knowledge of the project field, their team conducted intensive research and relevant information on our competitors. From there, they broke down the areas our mobile app could be more intuitive and user-friendly. After having a rough idea, they would discuss with us the concept that they believe would be the best & check if we were in the same direction.

After a few discussions, our team and theirs have all set on the same sight and started to work towards the end products.

We’re very pleased with the deliverables from their team. The UX/UI serves as the foundation for the app we’re now working to develop in-house. Their work perfectly reflects the vision we had at the start, helping us create a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate mobile app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us with frequent updates. We usually communicate via upward messaging & emails. Everything was delivered on time which really helps our project to meet our deadlines on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their UI/IX skills blew me away. They knew about everything from in-depth research to perfect execution. They were also patient and willing to walk us through their process while we learned. I was impressed with their willingness to go through the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied with the work.

Basically nothing! If there were one, I wish to be able to speak to such an awesome team.

he project required creative flair and experience using the Oshine theme on Wordpress. The aim was for someone looking for someone to take the companies logo and create a visual representation of it through the website. The site will solely be used so that we have an online presence and clients can find us/see our work. From a functionality point of view there may be a requirement for video/moving graphics to be played on some of the pages. However the site will be predominantly text and image based. Total pages on the site will be a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8. From a timing point of view I am looking to get this completed by early January.

I’m the founder of Meditation & Mindfulness. We are an online meditation business.

What challenge were you trying to address with COdizajn?

We needed to revamp our website and align it with our new business ventures. The website needed to look more professional and up-to-date. We told them what we wanted to encompass around the brand’s values and what we represented.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

COdizajn completely revamped our website. We asked that our color scheme and other existing elements on our website be incorporated, but they had the freedom to design it and inject new ideas.

They came back to us with the first draft, and there were a few minor adjustments, which they took care of. However, it was a smooth process. They also did a customizable email template for us.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with Andrea (Developer). However, I presume she was working with others based on how quickly she carried out the tasks.

How did you come to work with COdizajn?

We posted on Upwork stating what we were looking for, as well as the timeframe; we needed someone to do it quickly. Andrea was one of the few who stood out from the hundreds of candidates who applied. Her response sounded professional and showed she knew what we wanted. She said that she could also implement her own ideas. It wasn’t a standard response that someone sends to everybody.

I’m someone who normally goes on gut instinct instead of trying to think too much. After a few more conversations with her, she seemed like a good fit and a good person to go with. We made the right choice.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $1,650.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–March 2021. The project only took one month. There are still a few things to do, but 99% of the work is done. We need to take the next step as a business before they can finish.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is important to me because I’m the founder, and it has everything I needed. Everything is in the right places. I showed the website to some of the teachers who work with me, and they were very pleased with it. 

How did COdizajn perform from a project management standpoint?

Originally, I asked to get on a call with Andrea. However, she preferred to have everything written down because it’s easier for her. That way, she could review the chat in case she missed anything. I was happy to work in whatever way she thought best.

All communication was done via Upwork. I must say it was very prompt — she typically replied very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I found impressive was the speed at which everything got done without negating the quality of their work. There were no errors at all. Everything was done right the first time according to what I wanted. I didn’t need to give many instructions. COdizajn knew what to do, and they exceeded my expectations. They did what I envisaged and more — it was a whole package.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not sure if it’s just the way that Andrea works or the whole firm’s approach. However, sometimes it’s nice to talk on the phone; it makes things a bit more personal. While I understand her perspective that it’s helpful to have things written down, it might ring alarm bells if someone doesn’t want to speak to you on the phone.

We hired COdizajn to design and develop a new website to replace our out-of-date website. Our goal was for the website to be clean, beautiful, easy to navigate, and easy to manage.

We reviewed several designers/developers. We considered past work, reviews from past clients, communication, and price. COdizajn has created many beautiful and functional websites. They were also very quick and thorough when responding to our communications, and their price point was within our budget.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We're now able to easily update the website ourselves, add blog articles, etc. We can also track visitors and their use of the website much better. The website is beautiful and very user-friendly, so our visitors spend more time and explore. COdizajn has also been so thoughtful in terms of making it easy for us in the future. Details like the clone feature and instructional photos make a real difference.

We communicated entirely using email. COdizajn suggested a schedule and milestones based on our needs and deadline. They met each milestone with time to spare.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The speed! I'm used to waiting on contractors, but COdizajn had to wait on me. Both communication and deliverables were very quick. I never felt like I was left hanging, and never had to wonder where we were with the project. It was wonderful!

I can't think of a thing.

We expressed all ideas, needs, and goals to COdizajn via email. COdizajn then produced various iterations of our website, addressing all suggestions, edits, and feedback after each new iteration, via email. This was no small task. Although we have a small team, COdizajn was responding to 10 or more perspectives with each new iteration.

We worked solely with Andrea T. She singlehandedly navigated project management, design, development, and all follow-up questions.

Since launching our new website, we've received many compliments from clients, including those interested in using the same developer for their own web design.

Our entire project was orchestrated through Upwork, using email and video to explain and inform. The project was completed in under two months.

They gave us an incredible looking site that is easy to manage and update. They were extremely helpful with the migration process and all necessary tech support.

The time change was occasionally a challenge, as live meetings were difficult to schedule. COdizajn handled everything via messaging despite this difficulty

We explained in detail the look and feel of the design we wanted for FloridaBeyond.com, including color palates and samples of other websites we liked. COdizajn took our input and drafted a handful of ideas that we tweaked until we came up with just the right fit.
