Our app was developed by a different company but did not include a paywall screen or backend to allow individual users to sign up and pay for access. Our previous developer could not provide this so we hired CodeX Lancers to add this. During this development we uncovered a major flaw in our previous development which caused our notification system to continually crash. 

As we had finished our contract with our previous developer, we contracted CodeX Lancers to correct this issue, which required a significant backend development.  CodeX Lancers also identified some other minor bugs in our backend which they rectified. They tested all changes and then pushed the finished version to the App Store and Google Playstore.

• Integration of the paywall
• Rectificaiton of the notification system
• Publication of a funcitoning app.

CodeX Lancers were excellent at communicating with us, despite a significant time difference. They accommodated this time difference with lots of early morning and late evening meetings which was much appreciated.  The completion of this project was delayed but this was due to CodeX Lancers uncovering multiple issues in our orriginal app which required extensive work to rectify. They were very open and clear about any delays that arose and kept us up to date on new timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They take great pride in their work and wanted to see the completion of a highly functioning app. They prioritized this over financial gain. When issues arose that was outwith our budget, they worked closely with us to find a solution to complete the project within our budget. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeX Lancers could have done differently?

I have no negative comments to inlcude here. Their communication was excellent, they were very honest and hardworking, putting in many hours over weekends and in the evenings to accommodate time zone differences. They were very passionate and proud of the work that they completed.

• The ability to launch the app in the Google or Apple Play Store
• No errors in the live interactivey of the application

• For the most part we were able to meet the timelines, with all projects there are time slips but we were able to get back on track.
• The team worked hard and added extra resources to meet our goals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were knowledage about the .NET in our first version and when we needed to move to Flutter they were able to provide a new team to meet those goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeX Lancers could have done differently?

• Being more knowledgable about the product for new developers.
• It took a bit longer than i wanted to bring new developers on board and get them to understand the application and what all the details were
• Working with Jr Developers to teach them to think beyond the task at hand and see the bigger picture.  Sr Developers did not have this issue.
