Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Our customer has been using a very extensive web application (backend: Django, frontend: React) for years. Together with CodeSuite, we have taken over the further development of this application. Code Suite analyzed the complete application to find vulnerabilities, bugs, unfinished code and unclean code. 

Particularly affected parts were refactored. Subsequently, CodeSuite has taken all customization requests of our customer and checked whether they are realizable and created in some cases prototypes for them. For example, many requests included the processing and conversion of docx and pptx documents in Python / Django. 

The generation of PDF files (certificates). And the processing of personal data and consideration of the DSGVO. Following the proof of concept, CodeSuite made all the customizations to the application to implement the client's requirements.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The customer had already prepared a specification sheet with requirements from the past. We updated this and used it as a guide during the agile implementation process.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

CodeSuite was very good at getting to understand the software. This way, the contact persons and developers knew exactly in which environment they were working. The workload forecasts and deadlines were very precise and were always met. If a requirement was formulated vaguely, the developers asked appropriate questions and found a better solution in this way than the customer had originally thought.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

CodeSuite's professional attitude, transparency and good quality of code enriched the project and our client's software and resulted in a very good final result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeSuite could have done differently?

No. We enjoyed working with CodeSuite so much that we are already planning more collaborative projects.

I'm the founder and CEO of a social media platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with CodeSuite?

We needed a company that could help us build our website and mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had another vendor working on the project, but they weren’t able to deliver on what I wanted. We hired CodeSuite to correct the mistakes made by the previous vendor and start over from scratch to build what I wanted in the first place.

CodeSuite used React Native to develop the mobile app and Django to develop the website's backend. They followed the instructions I provided them in terms of the products' visuals, functionalities, and restrictions. The website and the mobile app operate in a similar manner — they allow users to log in or sign up and post or share whatever they want.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with a project manager, a tester, a mobile app developer, a web developer, and an AWS expert from CodeSuite.

How did you come to work with CodeSuite?

I found CodeSuite through a freelancing marketplace.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around £2,000 (Approximately $2,500 USD) so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June of 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CodeSuite has delivered an APK for the mobile app. We haven't launched the actual app yet, so we don't have any metrics to share. I do know that CodeSuite has done a great job in terms of the products' development, especially compared to what I had before working with them.

How did CodeSuite perform from a project management standpoint?

CodeSuite has performed well in terms of project management. They usually deliver on time. There have only been one or two times when they didn't meet the deadline, and it wasn't even their fault but rather because of some unexpected circumstances that arose or some additional requests from me.

We typically communicate through Google Meet and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're impressed with CodeSuite's expertise and professionalism.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Make sure to check their work properly. There have been a few times when I had to make some grammatical corrections to their work.

Make sure to be specific in communicating what you want and how you want it to be done.
