I’m the owner and founder of Lezzat, which is a digital marketing agency based in the United Kingdom with offices in Greece. We look after the Amazon marketplace, and we help companies sell, grow, or expand on Amazon around the world. Our service is more tailored to e-commerce, so we serve as an e-commerce marketing agency.

What challenge were you trying to address with Codener?

We needed marketing content for our business and our clients, which included graphic elements, logo design, video editing, and website creation. I was looking for an agency that had a lot of experience when it came to design requirements.

What was the scope of their involvement?    

Codener has designed our brand palettes and logo, and created content for our website. They’re also editing images in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Codener has been delivering infographics and videos, as well. I provide the raw video that my photographers shoot and they convert it into minute-long clips for our clients.

What is the team composition?

I communicate with two people who are assigned to my project, and there are probably more people on the backend.

How did you come to work with Codener?

We have a profile in Upwork, where I find agencies and specialists to work with. We found Codener on there, and one of their employees introduced me to the company.  

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $5,500–$6,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Codener in November 2020, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At my agency, our typical projects deal with listing optimization, which means we fix all elements of an Amazon listing. Images are an important element of the listing, but the title, bullet points, and many other aspects are also important.  

It’s difficult to measure the benefits of their deliverables because they’re images, graphics, and videos. We can’t attribute Codener work to our clients’ KPIs but the aesthetic design of our company’s website looks professional. We also have earned a lot of positive feedback in terms of the quality of the images and infographics. 

How did Codener perform from a project management standpoint?

We usually communicate with Codener through Upwork. A lot of the project management happens from my end because that’s how I prefer to do business with them. I tell their team what we want to create and the steps of each task. When they’re done, I ask Codener to share everything with me, so we can make sure we’re on the right track before proceeding with the next move.                                      

What did you find most impressive about them?

Codener’s attitude toward the work is the aspect that distinguishes them from other companies, which is extremely important — they’re friendly and responsive. Even if they’re busy and I send their team a message for a new project, they reply instantly and let us know when they’ll deal with it. There has never been a deadline, and when we have a project, we always get a response back in 48 hours.

The Codener team is very communicative and friendly to talk to. When I give them the end outcome of a project, I don’t tell them what the color palette or design should look like. I’ve left them to put their own style and note and the results have been much better than what we initially planned. Their creativity, responsiveness, and politeness play a key role in me trusting them with our company’s work. We’re extremely pleased with Codener's amazing work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They probably don’t have much experience in designing elements needed for Amazon, so there has been a lot of handholding for that. I’ve had to tell them the specs, file formats, and resolutions.

Nevertheless, it’s not a criticism for Codener because it’s very rare to find marketing agencies around the world that specialize in Amazon.

Any advice for potential customers?

People should start with a small piece of work. Then, communicate clearly what the deliverables are and why something is needed. This will help Codener understand what you want and why they should do it.

If the outcome isn’t a fixed thing, the designer can put their own note and do a version from their end. Give Codener the freedom to deliver another version of your original vision and see which one looks nicer.

We wanted to sell our products online, so we hired Codener to develop our e-commerce site.

They delivered exactly what I wanted. The service provided by Codener was impressive. I was amazed by their work — I’ve been in business for a long time with different people and Codener is really good.

We communicated via email and telephone. They were very cooperative. I liked the way they communicated and they always discussed what I required from them.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codener, and what were your goals?

Over website was very outdated and then we hire Codener, to develop our new website, where our clients can reach out us easily. The develop our website, they provide exceptional service, now we have also hired Codener for our other website.

How did you select Codener and what were the deciding factors?

We search out many software companies, and shortlisted few of them, we have also interview few companies and in the end we selected Codener, because of there pre sale support, there previous projects, design and development skills, and our decision was right, Codener's prices were very reasonable, they assigned a dedicated team for our project, and deliver our project before time.

When we selected Codener, we first have a Skype session with there sales team, we define our project scope to them, afterwards there development team send the project scope report via email in which they define the detailed summary of how our website will work. 

the third step was designing, there designing team send us a wireframe of our website, we checked that and ask them some minor changes, after that they deliver the prototype of our website, which was designed using our color scheme and our provided scope, we approved that design and now there development team develop our website according to the design and they deliver our website in September.

there are Six team members, one was Senior Project Manager, one Was UI/UX designer, other two was Front-End Developer and the last two were Website Developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After we launch our website, we saw a significant growth in our website traffic, because of them we got new clients with the help of new website, we love the updated design of our website, it's seamless, Now clients have a good idea of our service and we are very happy of our new website.

We had daily skype call in the morning where project manager tell us the progress of our project, they also provide there feedback in how we can improve our project, which we really love.

Other than that we use Codener's own project management tool, where we have all the team members connected to us and we can get reports from any of the assigned team members, when we want. Apart of this we also use Skype and Slack for our conversations and video calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They provide a full admin panel where we can manage our site by own, the most impressive thing we feel about Codener is that they also give their suggestions on how to make the project more unique and how we can make user experience more engaging.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are not such improvements, they work according to our guidelines and thats what we want.

They work hard and everything has gone well, so far. Also, if we need something modified, they do it for us.

He worked for us on another project (site migration), and it was done perfectly, quickly, and affordably. We brought him on to fix our main sight.

We were so please, we listed him on our website as part of our team!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

He listened and came up with solutions and new ideas when we talked. He would accurately quote the project and ETA. Regardless of the time difference, he was on-call 24/7. The billing was straightforward and accurate. The price was very reasonable for the quality of work.
