Our organisation protects empty properties from squatting, arson and other associated issues through the use of occupational property guardians. I am a senior Manger with the firm who deals partly with marketing and also deals with the development and maintenance of our CRM system, My Globe

Codeminded developed our CRM system and maintains it to date.

What were your goals for this project?

The creation of a system that was easy to navigate and met the needs of our staff and both of our client portfolios. The ultimate goal is to have the system be complete enough to market as it;s own [product as, currently,we offer it to our clients as an additional service, free of change.

The project was the complete improvement of our organisation’s processes and storage systems. The services they provided was software development, upgrades, monitoring of systems, maintenance of systems, security protection and project management.

What was the team composition?

They had a Product Owner, Project Manager and team of Software Developers and Software Testers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Yes, they allowed us as a company to increase from £3million turnover to £7.5million turnover in the space of five years. This had a major impact.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was arranged by Codeminded with daily briefings and twice monthly software function releases. Ongoing software upgrades, maintenance and monitoring was carried out behind the scenes with no impact on our daily functioning. The team were highly competent and able to lead the project with the involvement of one of our points of contact to ensure project success. It has allowed us to automate thousands of staff hours and reduce the time it takes to retrieve information. Our customers have also benefitted from the same experience as us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to create robust and excellent solutions to difficult problems on a consistent and regular basis is impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Only with regards to the project itself - we are always finding that they give us faster and better solutions the more familiar they get with our organisation and the project, which means they are adapting well.
