I am the CEO of a mobile restoration store. We specialize in refurbishing smartphones.

What challenge were you trying to address with Codedinn?

We were looking for a company that could provide web development services for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided Codedinn with the finalized design to implement and outlined all the functions to include. They built us a customized site is based on React. The team developed both the frontend and backend components.

I worked with two people from their team.

How did you come to work with Codedinn?

We found the team on Upwork. After hiring Codedinn, we decided to work with them for the long-term.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent around $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in June 2017 and have an ongoing relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Codedinn developed our entire new website. The platform they delivered greatly optimized conversions for our company.

How did Codedinn perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed very well from this perspective. Codedinn provided us with daily feedback to keep us aware of the status of our project. I have been able to organize everything in Jira. We normally communicate via Skype and Jira.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Codedinn is highly responsive, which has been very helpful. Their responsiveness is especially valuable when I am on holiday. If something isn’t working, they always try to address it directly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything has gone well.

No, not at this time.

I’m the CTO for a Swedish e-commerce website. We sell personal goods and household appliances.

What challenge were you trying to address with Codedinn?

We hired Codedinn to build a purchasing and logistics platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team has developed a new interface for warehouse management and delivery tracking. They’re working to connect the product to our database and migrate content to a cloud-based infrastructure. Their developers have written both the front- and backend of the system in PHP using Laravel, and they're using open source technologies for database integration.  

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager and two developers.

How did you come to work with Codedinn?

We initially reached out through a referral from an IT consultant. We interviewed members of their team and were impressed with their knowledge. We spoke with about 10 different companies and individuals before selecting Codedinn.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in January 2018, and they are still updating and building out the system.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new system has helped us triple the speed of our warehouse operations. It is now a core part of our business, and has already simplified many of our fulfillment processes.

How did Codedinn perform from a project management standpoint?

We have daily contact via Skype, and their team is accessible outside of these calls. They’re attentive to our needs, and they’re always ready to offer solutions to problems. We use monthly time budgets to set development hours, and they consistently stick to these timelines. Although I am solely responsible for identifying business requirements and user needs, the rest of this project has been a collaborative effort.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been pleased with the fluid nature of our communication. They are insightful and concise, which saves time on our end. I can trust that they will understand my needs, and that the quality of their work will be excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is minor, but they could put forth more effort towards understanding our business. I’d like them to have a better grasp of why we’re building this specific platform.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take advantage of technologies like Skype to get to know their team. If you communicate with them often, your level of trust will be high, and they will be well-equipped to meet your needs.
