At CodeClever, we were tasked with developing a high-performance mapping solution in Next.js to visualize 100,000+ wastewater treatment facilities with seamless interactivity. Our scope included efficient data visualization, performance optimization, and advanced filtering for large datasets.

We implemented dynamic marker coloring, interactive popups and optimized filtering to enhance usability. To ensure smooth performance, we utilized server-side rendering (SSR), clustering, lazy loading, and database indexing for fast data retrieval.

Our backend responsibilities included geospatial query optimization and robust API development to support scalable and efficient data processing. Additionally, we provided technical consulting, proactively addressing challenges to refine the system.

Each month we would reflect on development progress and determine 2 milestones for the next month. The front end development and strategy was determined and implemented and correspondence with backend internal engineers takes place thereafter. All user stories are crafted in house or by Meeran. They would give feedback and ask for clarification if needed. Mobile app for android and iOS is built alongside the web app. Very impressive operation in general.

The fact that Meeran and his team are always willing to try to accomplish things that may not seem feasible at first, so they can provide ideal solutions despite the odds being against them. It seems as though the odds are never against them. Also they are very transparent.

I think all teams collaborating learn which ways to best collaborate. The suggestions I have for improvement are not unique to CodeClever.

CodeClever developed a secure web and mobile application that fully complies with HIPAA regulations. Our goal was to provide a convenient and confidential platform for patients to track their health vitals and connect with their physicians through video or voice calls. With our web app, physicians now have a range of functionalities at their fingertips.

They can effortlessly schedule appointments and send invitations to both patients and fellow physicians. Each appointment can be seamlessly conducted via voice or video calls. In addition, physicians have the capability to generate comprehensive patient reports after every consultation. Furthermore, they can easily create invoices for their services, simplifying the administrative tasks associated with their practice.

Moreover, CodeClever developed mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices, specifically designed for patients. These apps empower patients to actively monitor and track their health vitals by integrating with smart health monitors that have Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity. Patients can effortlessly connect their Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Temperature, Oxygen Saturation, Body Weight, and ECG monitors to the app, allowing them to conveniently manage their health and well-being.

400 patients used the platform including the app. The positive impact of Vivovitals use was published in a leading medical journal (Endocrine Practice) in the USA.

One area where CodeClever could enhance their operations is in the management of resources and teams. During the project, there were instances where they took longer than expected to arrange resources that ideally should have been readily available. Therefore, there is room for improvement in CodeClever's resource allocation and team management processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Codeclever has developed a cross-platform mobile navigation app. The app displays our pre-fishing maps, has basic navigation, and links to user accounts on our website. They’ve also done supporting work building a backend API on our web server and some web design and development work on our business website.

We’ve worked with two teammates from Codeclever.

We found them on Upwork. I had them perform a simple coding test as part of the review process. They returned better code than anyone else and delivered the code the fastest. Their communication was also excellent.

I wanted to build an app and SDK that would allow flight passengers and travel enthusiasts on the ground to track live flights over a 3D map while exploring points of interest along the route. The project started with evaluating the idea and researching various technologies to find the best solution within my budget and requirements. 
Once the tech stack was finalized, I partnered with Codeclever to design and develop an MVP, initially launching it as an iOS app. After that, Codeclever refined the UI/UX before developing the full-fledged product. Finally, they published the app on the App Store and optimized its listing for better visibility.
