I'm the co-founder of Sunset BnB, a hospitality company providing a comfortable and professionally managed chain of BnB for business and leisure travelers.

What challenge were you trying to address with ClickySoft?

We needed to design and develop a modern, professional, and mobile-friendly website. We also needed to build a direct online booking engine so customers could check availability and book through our website. In addition, we needed to build a custom PMS so we could manage all the properties through a single platform, including reservations, check-in, check-out, group booking, room management, housekeeping, and various other functions for a BnB.

We initially hired ClickySoft to design and develop our corporate website using Next.js. Their work included UI/UX design, front-end development, responsive implementation, performance optimization, technical SEO, and ongoing maintenance and support. After the website project, we expanded our engagement and hired them to develop the ComplySec customer portal.

The platform enables customers to manage compliance projects, map requirements to frameworks and controls, assign tasks, upload evidence, maintain policies and procedures, track risks, manage annexures, and monitor compliance progress.

The portal also includes AI-assisted policy creation, policy review workflows, role-based access, task ownership, evidence tracking, and centralized dashboards to support audit readiness.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

ClickySoft successfully delivered the Next.js website and the core customer portal milestones within the agreed scope. The website is responsive, fast, technically optimized, and easier for our team to maintain.

The portal has centralized workflows that would otherwise require spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected documents. Customers can now manage policies, assign compliance responsibilities, collect evidence, track risks, and monitor project progress from one system. Their continued support has also helped us resolve technical issues and improve the platform as new requirements arise.

As with any complex software project, some requirements became clearer during development and required additional discussion. More detailed documentation during the early stages could have reduced a few clarification cycles. However, ClickySoft was responsive, adapted quickly, and addressed our feedback professionally.

The project required using existing text and images to be reformatted to have a nice look and feel. Next was the hotel plugin configuration that included a payment system and email response. The site was built using Elegant Themes Divi and a hotel booking plugin, all on WordPress.

There have been many occasions where my initial request was not possible using standard functionality, and instead of simply saying "no," the team went back, explored alternatives, brainstormed solutions, and ultimately found a way to accomplish the objective.
