Lumaverse Technologies is a private equity-backed holdings company of 11 brands made up of software solutions for scheduling, registration, memberships, and fund-raising experiences. I am the director of performance marketing for Lumaverse.

For what projects/services did your company hire Click Makers, LLC, and what were your goals?

Clickmakers was hired to help set up a paid advertising strategy with Google Ads across our multiple brands to grow the portfolio and set up reliable tracking since it was either outdated or set up incorrectly.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Clickmakers is a Google Ads Premier Partner with an excellent reputation for growing SaaS companies and has the technical expertise we needed for tracking sales and leads.

They were hired to revamp and optimize Google Ads campaigns that had no pre-existing strategy and increase our advertising footprint with Microsoft Ads as well for three of our brands under the Lumaverse Technologies umbrella. Key deliverables have been to increase plan purchases and drive more demo request lead volume.

Six total. Owner, project manager, copywriter, and three media buyers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Google's new Performance Max feature has steadily improved as we've garnered more conversion data. We knew going in that optimizing for leads with Performance Max has been hit or miss for some advertisers, but for us it seems to be getting better all the time as Clickmakers continually tests audience signals. Secondly, driving branded search traffic to our pricing page for one of our brands has provided a huge uplift in our revenue since May.

We communicate daily on Slack and have a weekly performance call on Zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have knowledge for tracking our campaigns accurately across our brands in light of some site complexities. I haven't encountered an agency before that knows not only advertising, but also has the technical skills to make sure the data coming in is accurate across our CRM, Google Analytics, and the ad platforms themselves.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'd like to get more ideas of how we can effectively use Youtube Ads to drive more business.

I’m marketing director for Empire Flippers, an M&A brokerage that helps online businesses.

We needed someone to help us with PPC and clean up our data analytics.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Click Makers, LLC provided us with their SEO and PPC services and managed our data analytics. Before we got them onboard, they actually reverse-engineered our funnel and covered all our marketing efforts on Google, Facebook, and YouTube.

Apart from that, they produced a lot of our content and created marketing assets for publishing.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Alex (Founder), Nicole (Project Manager), and two other team members.

We came across them from AdSkills, a paid community for media buyers.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested somewhere between $40,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2021–May 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our revenue returns are almost impossible to identify because we have sale cycles of 10–50 days. Still, over the course of our engagement, they’ve probably generated about $15 million worth of opportunities for us — which I consider a positive in terms of ROI.

How did Click Makers, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent from a project management perspective, as they were waiting on us more than we were waiting for them. Click Makers was very easy to work with thanks to their knowledge in the field.

We used Slack to communicate and did weekly Zoom calls for consultation and campaign updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the main reasons we hired them is because of their ability to sell extremely complicated products through paid advertising.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve on.

I would advise you to approach them collaboratively, as they’re very intelligent when it comes to marketing strategies.
