What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

We brought in Chamber Media to help us develop a social media marketing campaign specifically for Facebook but eventually for other platforms. We wanted to have engaging and creative videos that would help us sell our product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially tasked Chamber Media to create engaging videos to make viewers laugh and grab their immediate attention. It was important to hook them within the first few seconds because most social media users don’t see more than that.

We then went through a creative process with Chamber Media, for which they brought in a full team. After we pitched all of our ideas, they quickly came up with several scenarios of different ads that we could run, and they listened to my worries about hooking up people as soon as possible.

Then, we refined our ideas, and they drafted a script. Shortly after, they began filming the videos. After they finished and gave me the final product, they started managing our social media campaigns to help us get off the ground and find the right audience.

I provided my input throughout the entire creative process. They sent everything to me to have my approval and comments, and we scheduled time to talk about some ideas. The same thing happened with the casting; they did the initial casting, but I decided who would be cast.

I believe that we worked with 3–4 creative people from Chamber Media on the creative process, but I’m sure that more people worked on the project behind the scenes. I currently work with a dedicated social media adviser on the campaign. Additionally, I communicate with an account manager.

How did you come to work with Chamber Media?

When I thought about this project, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to produce the video content myself. One day, I found Chamber Media through an ad that they were running on Facebook themselves. I usually scroll through videos very quickly, but I noticed myself watching their entire two-minute video; they had caught my attention.

I immediately contacted them because if they had caught my attention, they would catch other people’s attention to promote my product.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested between $40,000–$80,000, including the cost of the creative process and the campaign.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

As we just launched the campaign recently, it is hard to measure its impact. Additionally, we have an issue with our website not picking up some of the traffic coming from Facebook, but we’re looking into it. Even though I have no exact figures, we’ve seen an approximately 60%–70% increase in our sales.

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Chamber Media keeps me up to date, and they work very quickly. They always respond to my questions within one day, and they’re very good at listening to my feedback, which is very important to me.

People from the wrong age group were buying my product, but they helped change that by ensuring that it was picked up by the right audience, which I really appreciated.

We communicate with our account manager via email whenever we have an issue. Additionally, we use Google Meet to discuss more important things. We also have video calls every two weeks to go over the campaign budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chamber Media makes the content fun for the viewers. I’ve seen other companies that focus on exposing the information. However, Chamber Media tells the information in a very lighthearted way, which makes people want to continue watching.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that Chamber Media could do differently. Their price is fair, their communication is great, and the finished products are very professional.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before I started this project, I had never done any marketing for my business, so I was very apprehensive about spending that money on a marketing firm. Calling Chamber Media and having that introductory call really helped me; they understood my business and talked about their experience with similar businesses. If you’re on the fence about it, just call them; they will understand your needs and help you try some things first.

I'm the co-founder of an e-commerce business called First Form Collectibles. We sell collectibles such as Funko Pops, action figures, comic books, Manga, vinyl records, etc.

For what projects/services did your company hire Chamber Media?

Needed assistance with getting our name out there and making First Form Collectibles look more credible. Our goal is to increase our audience engagement on Facebook and Instagram, have a higher conversion rate on our business website, attract more followers, and close more sales. We are really excited for the business' social media ads and commercials.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I did a lot of online research for social media marketing and Chamber Media seemed to be the best and most flexible choice for us. I actually ran into one of Chamber Media's advertisements on Facebook, read people's reviews and testimonies and knew that this would be the company to help First Form Collectibles take off.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After our introductory meeting, we had a conversation about identifying our audience and which platforms would be the best to identify and target. We initially thought about using YouTube but we realized that a lot of people tend to dislike having their videos interrupted by random advertisements. So we went with Facebook and Instagram. One of the biggest issues that First Form Collectibles faced since our inception was our Facebook and Instagram profile not linking our website with the market place, which cost us sales and missed opportunities. It was a month long problem and Chamber Media resolved it swiftly.

Chamber Media has been great with helping our company with our ads and breaking down the creative process for the commercial. We pitched some ideas for a script, reviewed a rough draft, and even got involved in reviewing auditions and hiring our spokesperson! We sent quite a few products from our inventory to use for the commercial and were able to see some behind the scenes pictures. We are very excited for the end product!

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Justin, our account manager has been great. Garrett, the senior media buying manager, was paramount in giving us direction for out ads as well as resolving our Facebook marketplace issue. Garrett was instrumental in helping us with navigating our Facebook business interface and reaching out to an actual Facebook conceirge rep to expedite our review process and get the shops enabled for our account. Troy, the growth manager, was the first person we spoke to and was very welcoming to us. We spoke with a creative director and the creative team when discussing the script and what would be needed for the commercial shoot.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

According to our Shopify analytics, in just a couple of months:

• Our total sales has increased by 1,083%
• Online store sessions are up by 167%
• Returning customer rate is 16.53%, an increase of 1007%
• Our online store conversion rate is 1.43%, an 85% increase
• Our acetate order value is $70.63, an increase of 111%
• Our total orders is over 520, and that doesn't even include in person sales that didn't go through Shopify or online.
• We have seen swift success and are excited to see where First Form Collectibles will be 6 months from now

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workforce has been pretty effective and they have been really flexible with us as we also have day jobs on top of running First Form Collectibles. We communicate via phone calls but mostly through email. The team has been great with reminding us deadlines and preventing delays and avoidable fees or expenses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are very impressed with the quality of professionalism and how enthusiastic everyone has been with working us. We get excited seeing how excited our Chamber Media team are to be working with us. I truly appreciate the genuine enthusiasm they have for working with us and I truly feel that they want us to be successful and are doing everything they can to make it happen.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

More assistance with assets and marketing. Request some more help with things like photoshop.

I’m the marketing director and a real estate agent for The Eddie Cox Team with Benchmark Realty. We provide real estate services to anyone who is looking to buy or sell residential or commercial properties. We also do lead generation within the real estate industry.

On top of being a real estate agent, I'm also responsible for all on-ground and online marketing efforts. I oversee our Facebook, Google, and YouTube platforms as well as our website and physical advertisements.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

We’ve gotten to a point where we had the capital to be able to utilize the services of a major video production company, so we turned to Chamber Media for their services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re the first real estate company Chamber Media has ever worked with but we let them take the reins on the creative side of things. We simply pitched them our ideas for what we wanted our videos to look like and let them do what they do. They provided the scripts and casted actors based on our requirements and approval. 

After we received the first 12 videos of our 24-video package, we studied the analytics and went through what we wanted to do differently for the next batch. Chamber Media provided us with ideas on how to grow our audiences but in the end, we decided to do brand awareness and brand engagement efforts. We then moved into phase two without them to focus more on building a brand personality, since we identified that that was the best plan of action. 

Chamber Media only provided us video production services but they did give us a few advertising tips. They shared ideas back-and-forth with our advertisement specialist.

I was in contact with around 4–6 people from their team including their advertising specialist, creative personnel, and other officers.

I came across their Facebook ad.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started formally using their services in March 2020. Our contracted end date is under an NDA, but if we plan to engage Chamber Media again in the future, we will.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s too early to tell of any impact since we’ve only just started building our brand engagement. We’re primarily focused on putting that effort together before running the videos they’ve made as ads. However, working with Chamber Media did help us learn what not to do with our videos. We got a good strategy out of the engagement.

The video themselves are of great quality and I’m really proud of the outcome. Chamber Media put them together with the right idea in mind. It’s cool that the videos get our message across while still maintaining a funny tone. 

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They handled the process really well despite not having experience working with a real estate company before. It was a pleasant experience regardless of the ups and downs and we saw that they really tried to learn as best as they could about the industry.

It was on us for not being too hands-on throughout the process; we really wanted them to be as creative as possible with no restrictions. We now know, moving forward, that we need to be more involved in projects like this. 

We communicated over email, Google Meet, and FaceTime.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chamber Media had great engagement and a solid way of handling their advertising against the Facebook algorithm. We liked that there was a personality behind their brand, unlike other companies that we’ve dealt with in the past. Chamber media really knew how to draw people in with attention-grabbing videos.

Throughout the engagement, we felt like we were working with friends. It felt very laid back even with everything being professionally done. We’ve never worked with anybody like them before.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could benefit from being mindful of the time limit for the videos. It’s the only thing we saw that needed improvement and we already addressed it with them. Everything in this project was trial and error, but they handled it pretty well. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be involved in every decision with Chamber Media. Collaborate with the team, read the scripts thoroughly, and pitch ideas back and forth. If you’re going to give them the full creative rein, make sure that they understand what you want to be done.

I’m the founder and CEO of Game Theory Tables. We’re a direct-to-consumer home recreation e-commerce company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

We had a new product, and it did pretty well on the Kickstarter we ran earlier this year. We wanted to build out the second marketing phase for the product, go ahead, and create content that spoke to the general public.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chamber Media works on digital marketing content creation. They’ve scripted an ad video that overviews the product’s value proposition. It has been cast and produced in a studio setting with full background. They’ll deliver an anchor video and seven retargeting videos for the lower funnel.

What is the team composition?

It’s quite a few people. We work closely with Veronica (Account Manager), a scriptwriter, and the director. When we shot the video, there were about 20 people on set.

How did you come to work with Chamber Media?

We met the CEO many years ago. We liked how they approached video marketing and thought their direction was the right one for us. When we decided to go into a full advertising production, it was a no-brainer.

We’ve spent $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working on this project in April 2021, and it’ll wrap up in August 2021.

Once we’re done with the videos, they’ll run on social media. Then, we’ll be able to see tangible performance tracking, but we’re not there yet.

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent. We communicate mainly through phone and email. We’ve also had a couple of meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity and insight stand out. The team is filled with creative people, and they know their stuff.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re pretty satisfied with the entire process.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You need to know your core audience and what you’re trying to achieve with the content you’ll create. The end product will only be as good as how much knowledge you have about your market demographic.

I’m the president of a solar company that mainly sells online.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

We didn’t have doorknockers, so we wanted to replace them with great content that we could push as digital materials, such as Facebook ads. Our company hired Chamber Media to come up with and create such content. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, Chamber Media met with us to go over our company values. Then, every month, we’d go over the things we wanted to see in the ads they’d create for us. They’d write scripts and allow us to review them. Once the scripts were reviewed, they’d come back with a final version. Then, our team would set a date for shooting the material. When everything was completed, they’d send the film to us and ask if we wanted them to edit it. If we did, they’d recreate parts of the film. From there, they’d finalize the video and we’d put it on Facebook for marketing purposes. 

At present, we do SEO, PPC, and email and social media marketing in-house. We use Chamber Media to create content, and then we give the content to our in-house team. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Jahden (Account Manager), Adam (Creative Lead), and Alicia (Creative Director). The three of them are the main liaison between our team and Chamber Media. They email us scripts, take our feedback, and direct everything on set. Overall, they’re responsible for implementing our feedback. A group of four people also work under them, but we don’t often interact with that group. 

How did you come to work with Chamber Media? 

My business partner worked with Chamber Media in the past and had a positive experience. As a result, he suggested we work with them. Meanwhile, the founder of Chamber Media contemplated taking a percentage of our company in order to give us the ads for free, but we ended up not working together. This probably bummed them out because our company has grown. In any case, we decided that if we weren’t doing that setup, we’d still pay for their services. That was how this engagement started. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested between $50,000–$70,000, including the money we’re paying directly to them. On top of that, we’ve also paid for the promotion of our ads. This isn’t paid directly to Chamber Media; it’s the investment that we put behind the content they’re creating. If we include that in the investment, the sum is about $400,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the partnership in December 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

A lot of variables are at play in terms of results, such as the placement of the ads and the audience themselves. With that in mind, the ads that Chamber Media creates have driven over 100,000 customers per month to our website. Around 3,000–4,000 people visit our website per day, and more than 1,000 people have bought solar materials through us. Over time, our cost of acquisition has gone down to $650 from the previous spend of $1,000. 

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is incredible. They always meet deadlines, and they’ve never gone over budget; we’ve never had to pay anything extra. For instance, we’ve had to build a roof two days before a shoot, and Jahden finished it on time by hiring somebody to do it while keeping the cost under our budget. That has been amazing. 

To communicate, we’ve used email and text messages. We also use Zoom for video conferences. Moreover, they’ve sent us the videos on a project management tool where we can watch them and leave comments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Chamber Media team is truly creative, and they produce ads well. Overall, we’re pleased with what they’re doing. The team has done exactly what we’ve asked, which has been great.

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give it a shot, and spend at least one month as a trial period. If it works well, keep doing it and move forward.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

I needed to get my name and my brand out into the marketplace in the state of Utah, so I hired Chamber Media to create social media videos for me.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided Chamber Media with demographics and information about the target audience that I was looking to reach. The team then put together six ideas for possible movies, to which I supplied industry knowledge and jargon as well as feedback for how I’d like the video to go. 

They presented some stuff, made some tweaks, and returned the scripts to me for reviewing and final approval. We collaborated using Google Docs and all changes either they or I made were be notated on the document.

What is the team composition?

There were four people working on this project. There was a salesperson who got me onboarded, a relationship manager, a creative specialist, and the director for the production. 

How did you come to work with Chamber Media?

I decided to work with Chamber Media because of the ads that they’ve done for big-name brands in the past. The mortgage industry is not exciting in the least, but we saw that they could make professional yet funny and creative movies for just about anyone. We wanted to set ourselves apart in that way and we thought that Chamber Media could make that happen.

Thus far, we’ve spent $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in July 2021. We have two more videos to shoot and I intend to keep working with them after that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can't provide any KPIs to share since I asked another agency to manage the ad spend for me. In general, though, I’ve had a good experience working with Chamber Media. They normally don't allow the client on set, but since I’m the spokesperson for my company they allowed me to work with them and coached me to make sure that I was prepared and at ease during filming.

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Chamber Media is very receptive to my feedback. The relationship manager is really good at making sure I’m in the loop regarding timelines and progress updates.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chamber Media has the ability to make catchy, creative social media content. I’m super excited about the direction they took for our brand. They really try to work within our budget and give us the bang for our buck. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

COVID-19 is to blame for the bad timing, but I do wish they would let me know what I need to bring or prepare for the shoot more than a day and a half beforehand. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Chamber Media to anyone from any industry. I don’t have any advice as to best practices because I think the team already has that well laid out.

We were preparing to launch a stock offering through equity crowd funding and needed help to target prospective investors and build brand identity in the marketplace.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through social media marketing. Since this was our biggest need the fact that they were able to grab our attention was important. As we looked through their history of success it gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing. Once we were connected to a project manager and it became apparent that they were seeking to understand our company mission and help us get that message out to the right people we felt completely comfortable moving forward.

We are very early in the process so we have just begun the creative development. Thus far we have had sessions to get to know the company and the goals, develop a plan of action, and we received a pitch of concepts to consider. We are now in the writing phase and we are waiting for scripts to review. Once this is all completed we will take the next steps to build a campaign around the hook videos that we are creating.

We have worked with a team of around 8 people but primarily with Jahden our project manager. I know that there are others that have worked on our project in the directing, producing, writing, and ad buy roles.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Not at this point. We have not gotten to that step. We were very pleased with the pitches that they came up with for the campaign.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have a small team so it has been easy for us to work with the chamber team on our end. They have also been flexible and offered a great amount of communication as we have pushed forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were straight forward and gave real answers to questions instead of flowery words and hyperbole. Professional and straight forward.

I can't think of anything yet. :)

I’m the sales director of a chemical manufacturer of aquarium products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

Our business model had been completely B2B-focused, so we didn’t have much connection with the end users of our products. We were trying to create a brand identity to strengthen our connection with the end users, so we reached out to Chamber Media to see if that was possible, and that´s what they’ve been helping us with.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chamber Media is creating an ad for us that will run across different social media channels like Facebook and Instagram. They’re creatively framing our brand while delivering some of our sales messaging in a unique way — something that people haven’t seen before in this space. The deliverables are one mini anchor video and six retargeting videos, and they’re going to launch and manage them on those different platforms.

We’ve worked with a few different people from Chamber Media, including a creative director, an account manager, a producer, and an ad buyer.

How did you come to work with Chamber Media?

We had seen a couple of ads that they had done previously and really loved what we saw. We also loved the personality of their ads and the quality of their work. We thought that they seemed very professional and approachable, and we loved the feeling that those other brands transmitted through the ads, so we hired them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around March 2021, and our engagement is ongoing. We’ve already finished the production, and we’re just waiting on the rough cuts and the final versions of the videos.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re really impressed with Chamber Media’s professionalism on set and the quality of their work. We’re also really excited about seeing the finished product. The KPI’s that we will assign to the project moving forward will be the ads’ engagement and the different targeting, and we will be working together with them on the ad buying at least until the end of this year.

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Chamber Media performs really well. They stick to the timelines rigidly, and they’re unbelievably communicative, always answering our questions quickly. We’re really impressed.

We had an initial setup call where we told them our vision and when we wanted to launch this initiative. From there, they were totally in charge of the project timeline, and they broke it down into a weekly agenda. They’ve made sure that we stick to the agenda with regular calls and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chamber Media’s innovation and creativity are awesome to see.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a change in our account lead, which has been the only wrinkle in the project so far. It would be good if Chamber Media offered a little bit more transparency if they have internal personnel changes. Other than that, we’re very happy with the way that we’ve been working.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do it! We’re very impressed with them, and we’ve absolutely loved the experience. Additionally, I advise you to have a clear budget in mind and listen to what they recommend about allocating your budget.

I am the marketing director for our cycling sports based company. We primarily manufacture a high end problem solving bicycle saddle.

Our marketing videos were getting outdated and we were looking for a fresh new entertaining set of videos to better explain the benefits of our product. We were especially struggling to make visual the pain someone might experience on an uncomfortable bike seat. We hired Chamber to write a script, hire talent, build props and produce a set of several videos which we could use for social media marketing.

We selected Chamber after discussing our goals with their sales team. We chose them because they are capable of taking a production from start to finish.

We had a project manager and creative manager who worked with us. We were given a fair amount of time to provide feedback and our feedback was used and changes were made when needed. Chamber tries to move very quickly which may be great for some companies, but difficult for others.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are just beginning to use some of the videos in our marketing efforts. So far the reception has been good.

Our project manager was always responsive and available to help. I feel that Chamber put a lot of pressure on their managers which can come through as pushy, but if you are persistent with what you want they are understanding.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We liked their creativity and willingness to make changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would have been extremely helpful if we would have been allowed on the set when recording as we could have quickly made small changes that would have saved a great deal of time.

I’m the marketing director of an HVAC manufacturing company. We sell ductless mini-splits and ventilation systems in the US and Canada.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Chamber Media?

We wanted to build our brand, expand our audience, and promote our DIY mini-split. It’s an easy-to-install and user-friendly HVAC product, which is uncommon in the industry. Most products are complicated for the end-user to install, so we wanted to convey to the people intimidated by these products that our DIY HVAC is easy to use.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chamber Media helps us with video production for a social media campaign. They develop content that we help to drill down into a concept, go through scripting, and then narrow down to a list of possible influencers to use in our campaign. They also handle all of the video production, hire the talent, and build the sites for the landing pages of the video products. Additionally, they run digital campaigns through Facebook, Google Ads, and YouTube — we have several ongoing projects.

We started working together around October 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our brand has been growing double digits every year since 2018. Currently, in Q1 2021 we’re up to 200%, and I attribute to them a large part of that success. We’ve also been getting several positive comments on social media about the quality of our videos — people have been saying how they weren’t interested in the product until they saw the ad.

How did Chamber Media perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate through email and phone calls. In terms of updates, we have regular meetings every two weeks with someone from their digital and creative teams, and I talk to Stefan once every few weeks — we’re happy with how they handle the campaigns because they constantly send us results and updates of them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their video production is consistently improving. We think that the latest video ad is the best one so far.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s something they can improve on.

Make sure you have the inventory to handle a big advertising campaign.
