We engaged the team to help us completely overhaul and refresh our website, which had evolved incrementally over the years and no longer reflected our brand or our latest product launch. In addition to the full redesign—with updated navigation, a cleaner, more modern look, and an improved user experience—we asked for the creation of a new developer-focused page with a related but specifically targeted design. The team worked closely with us on overall design, flow, and site structure, partnering with us as we developed the content. This process required several rounds of iterative design reviews until we aligned on a final result we were incredibly pleased with. We continue to rely on their services as we grow, making ongoing changes and expanding the site.

What impressed us most about the company was how thoughtfully VAD, the team lead, worked to truly understand our business and goals. He carefully researched and identified other relevant company sites for inspiration and comparison, and—most importantly—he wasn’t afraid to push back and challenge our thinking when he felt we were heading in the wrong direction. This level of partnership and constructive feedback was greatly appreciated and played a key role in achieving a much stronger final result.

User experience shall be much more streamlined, allowing to easily find relevant information and make a booking with strategically placed CTAs. 

The new website must look classy and exclusive, cutting edge, and really modern, yet not too complicated to be accessible to a not tech-savvy senior audience. Utilize rich content (photos and videos) that is available. Audience 40-60 years old, with disposable income, who want the best treatment for their pets.

Once the direction was set, the Celerart team demonstrated an exceptional ability to take it further and innovate with minimal feedback. There were at least 2 x front-facing people that we had direct contact with. Behind the scenes, there were multiple designers and developers, all working on our website.

While we did not require any documentation, we still received a substantial amount of information that helped our developers get started faster. We're still in the process of acquiring more website traffic but already getting nice feedback from our existing clients.

I am proud to say that we managed to communicate all our requirements and specifications without resorting to any video meetings. By using Slack and email, we were able to stay focused and always on the topic.

I had been looking for the right company to rebrand Wix Fix. While doing research, I found another project by Celeart where the design was very similar to what I had been looking for.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I paid Vadym at Celerart US$500 for the design of some web pages and he had the link live for those completed pages on Figma. We have yet to have our coder use the webpage designs on Figma for our website. Vadym has taken down the Figma web page and Vadym will not make the webpage live on Figma for our coder or send me the Figma files or will not refund the US$500 even though we have a written agreement on Upwork as can be seen in the attached screenshot from Upwork where Vadym promised to send me the files.

He has not! The only way this comment will be removed from Clutch is if Celerart makes the Figma link live or sends me the files, or refunds my US$500. Based on poor business ethics, and not completing the written agreement (as shown by the screenshot), I don't recommend celerart. and Vadym under any circumstances for any design work. DO NOT USE CELERART! THEY ARE THIEVES!!

The workflow was acceptable although many of the pages needed improvement as per review from our world-renowned SEO company

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Absolutely nothing based on the fact that they will not provide the final files even though they were paid for them based on a written Upwork agreement.

Yes, provide the final files on Figma or via email or refund my money

The vendor responded on January 20, 2022.

Fake review! The project with Eric took place 1 year ago, when over 70% of work was delivered, he was happy with the results but paid only a small fraction of the agreed budget and stopped responding, the project was considered abandoned. 10 months later he came back demanding more work done for an even smaller budget, acting like he's the boss and everyone owes him. We refused due to him being unreasonable and exhibiting a complete absence of business ethics.

Either Eric failed to safely store the files that were provided to him 10 months ago, or he just wanted to get both the work and the money, so he declared that he doesn't have the files anymore and started demanding refunds, making accusations and threats which included leaving a negative review on Clutch. Perhaps, this is the worst experience we ever had. I don't recommend anyone dealing with Eric M. Scop or his company Retractableawnings.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received initial design ideas and website mockups. Once we chose a theme, they started creating the designs in Figma. We were able follow the progress and comment easily or answer any questions they had. The general website was implemented by Celeart in Wordpress.

The webapp designs were handed over to our own developers for implementation. We had the chance to questions things that were hard to implement, and they refined their designs accordingly.

In total, we worked with two people. A project manager/product designer and a graphic designer.

Our developers were able to implement their designs easily. Our new website and branding has been well received both internally and by our users. We implementation of the webapp designs is ongoing. The "network" and "understanding biology" theme has made our website stand out.

The project manager was easy to work with and communicated very well. We had video calls with screen sharing in the early discovery stages and then regular communication in Slack through out the entire process. We used Figma to comment directly on designs.

I was blown away by their expertise in branding and product design. They are cutting edge and aware of latest trends, and don't mind to go the extra mile to develop something unique.
