I’m the head of retail operations for the Boss Group of Companies in Pakistan. We have around 4–5 manufacturing units and retail stores.

What challenge were you trying to address with Catalyic Tech?

We needed help with web development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially provided Catalyic Tech with the complete documentation. We now have three websites. They developed one almost from scratch, and the other two were updated by them.

Two of the websites were built on WordPress; they were our e-commerce stores. The other one was developed on Shopify as our requirement.

What is the team composition?

We were in contact with the CEO, a designer, and a developer.

How did you come to work with Catalyic Tech?

The CEO was in contact with us before, so we’d given them these projects. They had a complete team of professionals, so out of 2–3 different companies.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $8,000 per project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September 2021. The work has been completed, but we’re planning to work with them on a new website development project soon.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The Shopify store was for a cosmetics brand, the second was a retail store site, and the third was our dealer’s network website. Overall, we were satisfied with their performance, and the traffic has increased for all the sites.

How did Catalyic Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

We mostly communicated through email and WhatsApp, where they created a group to chat and assign them the details.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We focused on two main factors: their professionalism and quoted rates. Those were two reasons we shortlisted them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, our requirements were fulfilled entirely.

The website they delivered was a massive update from the previous one with better UX and more convenience.

They would give daily updates and would have meetings to evaluate the actual need. They set milestones to ensure timely delivery.

We were really impressed with their team's responsiveness and willingness to resolve all issues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Pretty happy with how the final website turned out. The team has delivered all the agreed-upon deliverables. The ongoing support from the team was extremely valuable.

Communication was fluent between both parties. Usually had a weekly meeting over zoom or skype.

Project delivery was on time

There is always area to grow and improve on. I'd say that the team can improve on meetings and communication.
