We had several meetings before we signed a contract with Cardinal Digital Marketing. We submitted an RFP, and once we agreed to work with Cardinal Digital Marketing, they provided a roadmap of KPIs that we could expect from the efforts. They then supplied strategies for our digital marketing and SEO.

We worked with their CEO, their VP, an account manager assigned to our project, and an SEO/media team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

More traffic to our site has increased our membership by 76%. Our paid media campaigns on social channels have achieved 90% of our set KPIs, which demonstrates growing brand awareness in our community.

The account manager has made the collaboration seamless. She is engaged in every strategic move or shift we undertake and keeps in constant contact with us. We feel that Cardinal Digital Marketing is invested in our success. Their team demonstrated a high level of engagement from the get-go.

I’m the owner and CEO of ALR Marketing Solutions, a boutique agency focusing on B2B and B2C digital marketing, as well as digital public relations and consulting services. We serve professional, medical, legal, hospitality, and franchise businesses located in the Atlanta, Georgia area and surrounding states.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cardinal Digital Marketing?

We needed to augment our team with a higher level of expertise in order to accomplish our objectives. The company needed the appropriate bandwidth and experience in order to deliver outstanding client results. We needed to generate brand awareness and qualified leads, and also needed to create and develop web presences that would represent the businesses we serve.

Our B2B and B2C clients needed better digital marketing, SEO, PPC/Paid Media, social media, reputation management, web design, analytics, and reporting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cardinal has provided comprehensive digital marketing services, including paid search, programmatic advertising, and other higher-level service items than we provide in-house. They’ve provided SEO and Google AdWords services, along with other forms of paid and social media advertising. They’ve also provided web design and development, reputation management, and analytics.

One of our clients is a medical practice, and Cardinal has worked with them for about seven years. We were initially brought on for consulting, but Cardinal has since built their web presence and provided solutions for both English and Spanish speakers. They’ve also managed their local SEO campaigns, paid search, Google AdWords, Bing advertising, and Facebook Ads. We’ve just recently engaged with them for reputation management, so Cardinal is now also helping with review facilitations and customer feedback surveys.

We have had a few different things come up that were very technical in terms of content needs, but Cardinal has managed to help us to meet them. For example, they found writing sources that met the specific criteria of a pharmaceutical space's content needs.

Cardinal was ranked highly at the time when we were looking for a local SEO company. I met with their CEO and other executives to talk to them about our different client needs, and also what we were looking for in a vendor. We’ve been working with them for quite a long time.

We’ve spent $200,000–$1,000,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2009, and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My business has grown exponentially since I began working with them. They’re great at providing trackable metrics and results so we can look at cost of conversions, the client’s invested and advertising dollars, as well as our own ROI. We wouldn’t still be working with them if we weren’t continuing to see a positive results for our clients.

They’ve been extremely influential in increasing many of our clients’ lead bases or new patient bases, whatever their industry may be. They’ve managed to garner a strong ROI for every client they’ve worked with for us.

How did Cardinal Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve covered everything in the agreed-upon scopes, and fulfilled all deliverables according to schedules and budget.

Sometimes we put them in direct contact with our client, and other times we act as the liaison between them. It varies depending on the account and needs of that particular account.

They are very responsive, and generally answer our questions the same day. After monthly metrics and reportings are sent out, plans are customized based on the needs of the type of data the client is looking for. This data is more specific when they track what campaign certain leads have generated from, or what keywords have produced said leads. They really go into detail so that we’re able to maximize and leverage their efforts in order to obtain the best ROI for our clients.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cardinal offers transparency in our relationship, which is something we haven’t witnessed with their competitors. They are completely honest about what they’re doing, and if there’s a concern on either end, they quickly address it to find a solution.

Their attention to detail and ability to provide comprehensive metrics and reporting are also impressive. They always apply sound strategy rather than deploying a trial and error approach. They’ve delivered outstanding results for SEO campaigns, paid media, and reputation management year over year.

Their team is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to producing phenomenal work for clients.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, I’ve been very happy with them, and nothing has caused us to be concerned.
