The project focused on enhancing several core Odoo modules: Sales & CRM: Implemented multi-level validation, automated tagging, and customized sales order processes. A "block calculator" was integrated, and new filters and reporting were added to streamline the sales pipeline. Purchase Management: Enhanced the purchasing workflow with new wizards, vendor filtering, and a two-step validation process. This also included automated purchase order creation and improved reporting. Inventory & Delivery: Streamlined the delivery process with customized lines for weight and rate tracking. A new barcode system was implemented to automate product data retrieval for inventory labels and stickers. Finance & Billing: Added automatic rounding for bills and invoices, integrated advance payment logic, and enhanced invoice views for better usability. Communication: Enhanced email functionality and integrated WhatsApp to send automated messages to vendors, ensuring real-time communication. Other Enhancements: Introduced a new secondary UOM (unit of measure) field across several modules, redesigned various reports, and customized the repair management workflow.

Increased Operational Accuracy: The implementation of validation controls, automatic note creation, and detailed job line linkage led to a significant reduction in human error.

For our implementation process, we have a set budget and timeline to follow. However, when CandidRoot supports my clients, they are available on-demand and are very responsive when I need them to come through for me. 

CandidRoot has their own project management system and provides me with regular project status updates. Their team frequently compares their work to the requirements in my documentation to ensure that all timelines and budgets are met. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would say that CandidRoot’s expertise and commitment to agreements set them apart from the competition. If their team says something will be delivered within a specific timeline, they will meet it, even if the project becomes more complex and they have to add more teammates.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would like it if they had a teammate onshore, even though they are an offshore team.

Customers need to have their requirements well documented. If they do that, CandidRoot will deliver for them and stick to the set budget.
