When we began, our web presence was a "bookmark on the internet". Through a series of activities such as web page/structure tunes, creation of an ongoing content stream, and integration of keyword tagging, development of location and/or product/service specific content, Cadence has exponentially increased our visibility to our potential clients and created a web presence that accurately reflects the many areas of excellence our team supports.

There are numerous KPIs we track via scheduled meetings and reports. The most important of these are organic traffic flow, keyword rankings, and content creation. We also watch search engine results for specific words and phrases and have seen consistent positive trending toward first page (and many times first organic) results placement.

Two words - very efficient. Cadence conducts a regular flow of touchpoint meetings during which we review the stats, discuss development and set priorities for future activity. Cadence is always on time, always prepared and always effective in their use of our collective time. We end every meeting with a clear understanding of where we are and where we are headed. We could not ask for a better project management experience.

WIth all the quantitative results data they present, it is CadenceSEO's ability to build a personal relationship with us that I have found most impressive. It feels like they actually care about our team. When we get an award or have a good press release, they are genuinely happy for us. When we have a challenge or an issue to address, they make it their challenge as well. They are simply part of the Cynergy family.

There is no relationship that is perfect. Cadence got to know us over time. We got to know them. As relationships do, ours has matured into a familiar rhythm. 

Through the time we've worked together, I know that, if there was something that needed improvement, I can describe what I want to change and how I'd like to change it. Cadence will tell me what is possible, what they recommend, and then let me make the best decision for our organization. They listen to us - we listen to them. We wouldn't change a thing about that.

They represent a good value for the fees that they charge and it's clear they value long-term relationships.

We are working together to make some revisions to process tracking and documentation. This is mainly so that we have a more comprehensive overview on our end. They are flexible and willing to revise and adapt their existing tool sets to meet their client's needs.

Our site has seen increases in clicks and impressions from organic traffic month over month. Kevin has also been a proactive and invested partner in our success by continually calling attention to negative metrics and actions that can be taken to overcome them.

CadenceSEO provides SEO services. Specifically, they optimize the backend of our site. Their efforts include conducting keyword research and implementing specific keywords in meta descriptions. The team also ensures that Google has no trouble scanning our site.

Additionally, the CadenceSEO team gives us suggestions for our content in terms of our blog and other site content. They’ve written and published some copy, but they primarily provide SEO consulting services to help us rank better on Google.

Thanks to CadenceSEO, we’ve seen a dramatic improvement in our rankings on Google. Their work has definitely led to an increase in leads.

They go above and beyond to ensure that they always stick to our deadlines. CadenceSEO also does a great job of shifting things around to keep the project within our budget.

We primarily communicate via email, but we also have Zoom meetings twice a month.

I’ve worked with several vendors, but what makes CadenceSEO stand out is how much they prioritize us. They put a lot of care and attention into tailoring their work specifically for our organization.

Furthermore, the CadenceSEO team makes a point of being on top of the project — they complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Sometimes they come up with too many fantastic content suggestions, and we don’t have the capacity to utilize all of them. However, that’s not really a bad thing. I’ve been highly satisfied with the team overall.

I’m the retail marketing generalist at Kalmbach Feeds, an animal nutrition company based in Ohio. We make feeds for animals of all shapes and sizes but mainly for farm-type animals, such as livestock, horses, and chickens.

We hired CadenceSEO to dive into the world of SEO and help Kalmbach with its organic search rankings.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CadenceSEO has been helping us move our website higher in search rankings for people searching for animal feeds. Their team has done plenty of legwork for us, and we talk multiple times a week. I specifically have a weekly chat with Kevin (VP of Growth). 

In the beginning, the CadenceSEO team delved into our website to find errors like broken links or pages that no longer existed and needed to be redirected. Since our website was only recently redesigned, it had plenty of issues and wasn’t completely set for SEO. After finding such errors on the website and doing a site audit, the CadenceSEO resources worked to fix them.  

We also designed a plan around how to target keywords, and the plan included creating more content for the website. It previously had minimal content, so search engines had a hard time finding and crawling it. To fix that, we put up a blog page where we could create content that focused on our target keywords. On top of that, CadenceSEO has also helped us create press releases to build backlinks to other credible websites. That way, we improved the amount and quality of the website’s content.

At present, we continue to create content for the website to further optimize it. We will soon be picking up another brand with CadenceSEO — we have multiple brands — and we’ll have more in-depth and strategic collaboration with them for many of our brands. 

What is the team composition?

Our lead project manager is Kevin, and everything has gone through him. We’ve also worked with Destiny (Senior Project Manager), though she’s taken another role within the company. Many other people from their team work in the background, but Kevin has been our main point person. 

How did you come to work with CadenceSEO?

CadenceSEO reached out to us and brought to our attention that our newly redesigned and relaunched website was having major issues from an SEO standpoint. We were no longer ranking in Google, and people wouldn’t find us online in the near future if we continued down that path. That was how we started working with them.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested around $10,000 in their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Success metrics are hard to pinpoint down to any certain time because they change weekly. In any case, during the last 60 days, we’re up in 383 rankings across several Google searches that are related to our business. Those terms include words and phrases that we aren’t even targeting. Our ranking continues to go up every week, and that’s been exciting to watch especially as we add more content to the website. That being said, we have to wait for around six months to see more optimal results from Google; we’re about three and a half months into the engagement. 

Meanwhile, CadenceSEO has done an incredible job of improving our website from its sad and poor state to one that ranks in multiple terms. Overall, it has been a neat experience working with them.

How did CadenceSEO perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with CadenceSEO has been extremely beneficial for us. They truly help us manage this side of our marketing efforts, and they come to us every week with new plans and suggestions. Our teams also stick to a good timeline and rhythm in everything we need to do, and they manage everything for us. We mainly communicate over emails and Zoom. They use AgencyAnalytics, where we can access our updated data points every single day — this is our main dashboard. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about CadenceSEO is the personalization of their work. They try to maintain a face-to-face interaction with us even though we’re on opposite sides of the country. Everything has been so personal, so it’s been great working with them. 

From a business standpoint, it’s always nice to know that they truly care about us. They want to see us succeed especially in this area of marketing. As a company, we’ve known little about SEO, but CadenceSEO has been helpful in teaching us about its importance all along the way.
