The Bytes team was responsible for the full back-end replatform of our marketing site, which included taking our Figma UI/UX designs, doing front-end coding along with full back-end development, connections to SalesForce, Hubspot and multiple internal systems.

Successful front and back-end deveopment, replatforming both marketing and eCommerce sides of our site, maintained page seo values, and wrote connections with all our 3rd party resources.

The Bytes team was extremely responsive to both email and virtual meeting requests. Despite the time-zone difference, the Bytes team worked to ensure thier team was available during our daily working schedules. The project was managed on multiple platforms and via email, the team was very good about updating indiviual tasks, meeting deadlines and acting as committed members of our team.

Bytes has been our exclusive internal tech team for the last 7 years. They have managed all aspects from creative development to front and back end coding. All builds have been custom HTML and seamlessly integrated with our external platforms.

We have had hundreds of projects with the Bytes team over the last 7 years. Mitul has been with us every step of the way. Majority of our team members have also been with us for 2+ years. We use Jira for project tracking/sprints and all tasks are communicated on and completed timely. We have a project manager on our side as well as the Bytes side who communicate daily.

I can not recall a single project that was requested that Bytes could not complete. Their team has built very intricate reporting/scoring platforms, databases and API's that process hundreds of thousands of data sets monthly.

We have had 2 project managers from Bytes during our 7 year relationship and both were amazing additions to our team. Communicate with excellent. Almost to good, that I become the bottleneck at times. Every task is always delivered on time. With a 12 hour time difference I don't think anyone at Bytes even sleeps!

Bytes is not just a contractor to my company. They are an extremely vital part of our team. All of our Bytes team members will work tirelessly until the task is completed. Communication is top notch. We have gotten to know our teams closely over the years and they are part of our family. I could not imagine using anyone else.

Zero. My company is based in California and most of our Bytes members in India. The time difference has never been an issue. We have set up our hours for plenty of crossover to ensure communication is number 1.

We met each week to review progress and provide feedback. We saw substantial progress on the sites in every week's call and even the day after the call after feedback had been applied. The BTI team works efficiently without sacrificing quality.

Karan, our project manager, was extremely proactive and provided clear communication flagging when requirements or expectations were unclear or when items were ready for approval/testing, etc. The whole team was also very adaptable to our processes which was much appreciated.

Every member of the team that we communicated with was highly professional and personable. They seek results and act quickly. I thought the drastic time difference between our team and theirs would slow the project down, but in fact, it allowed us to work faster since we could request something at 5pm and have it completed by 9am the next day. It was a pleasant experience and we plan to continue the partnership as work becomes available.

While browsing the Magento marketplace, We found that Bytes Technolab was one of a few vendors who had already developed a module which included functionality similar to what we were seeking. As we had already purchased were using another module from this developer, we were confident that we could trust a solution to which they might be able to provide. When asked, they were willing to add the required additional functionality at a reasonable price.

After adding this module to our site we are able to have our non-technical staffers add content to the website which will help our customers make more informed decisions on their purchases. We also expect that overtime we will see a boost to our SEO rankings on our product listing pages.

Bytes Technolab helped us immediately with some fixes to some issues left by the previous developer. They also successfully worked out how the system was put together with essentially no information from us. Since then, they have worked in AWS using PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript to upgrade this site with new functionality numerous times.

We work with one contact who also connects with several of her developer coworkers.

Our client has been very pleased with the improvements to the stability and functionality of their website.

We have worked through Upwork and communicate through their chat function. I typically throw a new task or problem at them and get a price quote for larger tasks. We then chat back and forth to get updates until the task is complete.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have been very responsive and professional no matter how may "curveballs" I send their way. They impressively figured out a very complex build without any guidance from the site's previous developers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There have been a couple times where communication between us about the job requirements needed to be clarified a bit, but I think that was mostly from my inability to convey the instructions well.
