I worked as a consultant for a private equity firm, in direct contact with the CEO and founder. As part of my position, I would advise him regarding his public image, including his image online, and manage his public relations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Buzz Dealer, and what were your goals?

When you are a well-known figure, a lot of information floats about you on the internet, and sadly a big part of it is not true and published in order to harm you and your businesses. That was the situation in our case. We needed someone who could help us solve this reputation problem, put an emphasis on the positive image of the CEO on the internet, and minimize false or misleading information on Google.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

The VP of the company Tzur is a close friend of mine, so I knew exactly how to turn to for help, but it wasn't good enough for the founder whom I worked with and he wanted to check other options. After consulting with 3 other founders who had similar problems on Google they all recommended Buzz Dealer in the lead of Uri as the main problem solver for these kinds of problems of reputation. A after getting another offer from a different agency the decision was set to go with Buzz Dealer.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Basically, the work was mostly reliant on content. They knew how to produce the right kind of content that Google likes and relies on to get results,It was a mix of pre-selected top news sites, press releases, blog mentions, technical work, social media handling and some Buzz Dealer secret sauce.

Naturally, the first step was building the right strategy and defining the desired results. Then creation of the content and enhance existing properties, Lastly was to make sure that all the of the content is distributed and published on time and with top quality, following up the results and fixing as it move along.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I don’t know exactly how many people worked on our project on Buzz Dealer’s side, but we were in contact with the head of the content department Ohad mostly - because that is what the whole project was centered around. Naturally, I was also in contact with Tzur who was incharge of the project, and even Uri the CEO of Buzz Dealer was in the loop at all time for updates and answering questions.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is hard to measure exactly how much the “appropriate” vs. “false and misleading” balance was tilted because it cannot be numbered, but I can tell you that a lot of positive information that we were aiming to spread reached the first page of Google search results.

Naturally, since content is always a sensitive issue, we were involved along the whole way and we had final word about every letter and punctuation mark that was published. Ohad would pass all content pieces through us for approval and would make any change necessary at our request. I must also say that the process was really professional and fast on their side, meaning that we didn’t have to wait long for every question or comment we made about the content to be resolved.

All the articles were published on time. Even with our side's hold-ups, they handled it as we moved along. Communication was via email for work and sending files and over messaging apps like Whatsapp and Telegram for updates and decisiones.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Well, primarily Buzz Dealer today I think is the only company that knows how to do what it does with such high standards, while understanding the problem, measuring it and delivering results. Also, since we both operate out of Tel Aviv, it was very easy to meet up with them. We had several conferences in our offices and in theirs throughout the process. I was personally impressed with the professional manner it was handled and how well organized they are in everything to do with ORM and publishing content over the web.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Well, with Google you can never know what's the best way to act, that's why we choose the professionals to deal with it, with 14 years of experience you cant go work with it. I can’t think of anything that really bugged me in the process, Maybe just the fact that I had to work my magic to push this project with them, otherwise we had to wait some time to take our project, as they were swapped with other high profile clients with the similar issues

Buzz Dealer has one clear advantage over many other companies who provide digital PR, and that is diversity. They can tailor a plan specifically for your needs, target audience, budget, timeline, etc. There is no “one way” to do things for online awareness, and Buzz Dealer knows how to take a bit of everything and mix it into an interesting and effective combination.

At first, back in 2009, we started with the basics; traditional SEO and content creation, and we’ve stuck to that as the base to our strategy to this day. Along the way, we’ve picked up and let go of other variables relevant to online awareness, according to our needs, such as website content, article translation, online campaigning and more.

We never discussed numbers with them, because Buzz Dealer won’t promise something they can’t fulfill exactly. In other words, they won’t tell you that they will raise a campaign on Facebook that will get you 3000 likes, because they know that is not something anyone can commit to. They are very straightforward in that sense.

Since we’ve been working with Buzz Dealer for so long (and I believe we might even be one of their first big customers), that has changed over time. At first, we were in touch with three employees; the CEO, VP and SEO manager. Over time, we witnessed Buzz Dealer grow and expand, and subsequently more people were in contact with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Once again, it is hard to talk about numbers. I can say that our online presence now is much more dominant, and that we’ve overall achieved our goal of scaling up. Today we are one of the most well-known names in the work safety sector in Israel, and we manage to maintain that position mainly thanks to our presence online.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The key word here is dynamicity. The internet of 2009 is nothing like the internet today, and the trick is to know how to adapt accordingly. In general, I didn’t care too much about the small details and the specific numbers, as long as the work was done and the leads were coming in.

In terms of communication, I can say that this was never a problem all along the way. I have Uri (the CEO’s) phone number and I talk to him directly whenever I need something or have a question.

Their constant need to study and learn the market, for sure. They are very adaptive, and we all know how fast the internet changes.

When you are a well-known figure, a lot of information floats about you on the internet, and sadly a big part of it is not true and published in order to harm you and your businesses. That was the situation in our case. We needed someone who could help us solve this reputation problem, put an emphasis on the positive image of the CEO on the internet, and minimize false or misleading information on Google.

The VP of the company Tzur is a close friend of mine, so I knew exactly how to turn to for help, but it wasn't good enough for the founder whom I worked with and he wanted to check other options. After consulting with 3 other founders who had similar problems on Google they all recommended Buzz Dealer in the lead of Uri as the main problem solver for these kinds of problems of reputation. A after getting another offer from a different agency the decision was set to go with Buzz Dealer.

Basically, the work was mostly reliant on content. They knew how to produce the right kind of content that Google likes and relies on to get results,It was a mix of pre-selected top news sites, press releases, blog mentions, technical work, social media handling and some Buzz Dealer secret sauce.

Naturally, the first step was building the right strategy and defining the desired results. Then creation of the content and enhance existing properties, Lastly was to make sure that all the of the content is distributed and published on time and with top quality, following up the results and fixing as it move along.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I don’t know exactly how many people worked on our project on Buzz Dealer’s side, but we were in contact with the head of the content department Ohad mostly - because that is what the whole project was centered around. Naturally, I was also in contact with Tzur who was incharge of the project, and even Uri the CEO of Buzz Dealer was in the loop at all time for updates and answering questions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is hard to measure exactly how much the “appropriate” vs. “false and misleading” balance was tilted because it cannot be numbered, but I can tell you that a lot of positive information that we were aiming to spread reached the first page of Google search results.

Naturally, since content is always a sensitive issue, we were involved along the whole way and we had final word about every letter and punctuation mark that was published. Ohad would pass all content pieces through us for approval and would make any change necessary at our request. I must also say that the process was really professional and fast on their side, meaning that we didn’t have to wait long for every question or comment we made about the content to be resolved.

All the articles were published on time. Even with our side's hold-ups, they handled it as we moved along. Communication was via email for work and sending files and over messaging apps like Whatsapp and Telegram for updates and decisiones.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Well, primarily Buzz Dealer today I think is the only company that knows how to do what it does with such high standards, while understanding the problem, measuring it and delivering results. Also, since we both operate out of Tel Aviv, it was very easy to meet up with them. We had several conferences in our offices and in theirs throughout the process. I was personally impressed with the professional manner it was handled and how well organized they are in everything to do with ORM and publishing content over the web.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Well, with Google you can never know what's the best way to act, that's why we choose the professionals to deal with it, with 14 years of experience you cant go work with it. I can’t think of anything that really bugged me in the process, Maybe just the fact that I had to work my magic to push this project with them, otherwise we had to wait some time to take our project, as they were swapped with other high profile clients with the similar issues

I approach them with a request or a project, and they go at it full force. We were familiar with Buzz Dealer’s work before we started working with them, mainly through our work with the CEO Uri Samet and Tzur Rupin whom we worked with. We knew what we needed to do, but we did not know how we needed to do it.

 

Since Buzz Dealer specializes in organic traffic and has a lot of ASO knowledge, we knew that they could help us with ASO work on the app and gaining more relevant organic users.

 

The bottom line is that Moovz was gaining about 2,000 new organic users a day without spending a dollar on campaigns. Therefore expanding its user base, and to do it substantially. Less measurable outcomes are increased awareness on both social media platforms and search engines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I guess that I was very impressed by their professional knowledge about ASO and user acquisition, despite the fact that most of the time I didn’t understand they do it at Buzz Dealer, they always got the job done, and we always reached our KPI;s and goals on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?

I guess that there is also a negative side to working without specific milestones, and that is that you sometimes don’t know what to expect and when to expect it. I admit that it did take me a while to get used to Buzz Dealer’s modus operandi, but once I did, it was smooth sailing from there on.

For what projects/services did your company hire Buzz Dealer, and what were your goals?

ORM (online reputation management) is still a relatively new field today, so you can guess how unaware everyone was about it back in 2016. The company I was the VP of at the time was striving to be pioneers in ORM in our sector, in order to stay one step ahead of our competitors. Generally, it all started with a goal of exploring what ORM can do for us, alongside marketing methods that were more well-known back then (like SEO, PPC and SEM).

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with Buzz Dealer on other projects in the past, mainly in the world of SEO, and there was not a big variety of ORM specialists back then. At first, we had a sit-down with the CEO and the VP, where they gave us a ‘crash course’ about ORM. After one meeting, we felt like these guys really knew what they were doing, and we decided to go for it (a decision I don’t regret to this day, and one that I’ve taken in several companies for which I’ve worked).

What they usually do is they start out by laying the plans out together, in accordance with the goals, preferences and the budgets of the company. In my case, we separated the project into three categories: keyword dominance (classic SEO), positive sentiment towards our platform and app (ORM), and enhanced website traffic (a combination of both). Each category was handled and reported separately, so as to see if and where a boost is needed.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

It’s hard to say, because there are so many different aspects of ORM and SEO work with Buzz Dealer. I think that overall I was in connection with at least 8 staff members, including the CEO and VPs. Communication was also very flowing, with no need to set up appointments or schedule in advance.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since we are talking about a few roles I had in a few companies, I can’t really give an exact measurement. I can say though that every partnership with Buzz Dealer led to a significant rise in traffic to the website. Also when it comes to app store optimization, they do a very good job of putting your app on top.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Once again, I can’t talk about a specific style of management, but I can say that they are very organized. They have periodical reports matching the original goals and destinations posted, so you know exactly what has been achieved and what still needs work on. Since communication was never an issue, I can tell you that we did not always have to wait for these reports, since we were able to witness the results firsthand (for example, heavier traffic and app downloads).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about Buzz Dealer, I guess, is the fact that they are always on the lookout for the next game-changer in ORM and digital marketing. They do not settle for only the methods that work today, they are constantly searching for ways to improve and innovate.

I can’t think of something that really requires a change. Sometimes part of trying out new methods and innovating means failing, but I am always willing to accept that because bottom line, the results speak for themselves.

I wanted to maintain my online reputation for the long term, and to make sure that the information presented about me online is accurate and adequate. In other words, I hired Buzz Dealer with the goal of monitoring how I look online - removing false and misleading information and promoting clear and accurate material instead.

I’ve worked with some of the employees of this company in past circumstances, but I needed to be certain that our expectations are aligned. We had a preliminary meeting, where they presented everything to me and were attentive to my queries. Afterwards, I decided to go for it.

The first part was to scan and analyze my reputation online. Afterwards, they mapped out possible solutions to the challenges that were spotted, in terms of SEO and ORM goals. They createג the proper content with the correct information, published it on key websites and made sure to boost awareness on social media - and they continue to do so these days.

I work closely with the content team, focusing on each and every bit of information that was published. I am also in close contact with the CEO and VP, with frequent updates on the progress of the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Generally, my “internet entity” is much more adequate now than before.  Misleading and false information is countered with correct information, also promoted organically on Google so as to have prominent appearance.

As stated before, they are very communicative. They also fit their reporting style to my schedule and time constraints, so that no information was left behind. Additionally, they are very responsive to my questions, comments and requests all along the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most unique thing about Buzz Dealer is that they offer a service that very few other companies currently do - and they do their work thoroughly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I did sometimes have a problem comprehending the small details of the project. This also has to do, though, with the fact that ORM is a very new field.

Since our offices are in Israel, as well as theirs, it was very simple to meet whenever necessary, and the fact that they employ very communicative people was also of great help.What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?The most impressive thing, no doubt, is the fact that they pioneered successfully in this field. Again, digital campaigning was still blurry when we started this joint venture, and their out-of-the-box thinking helped them and us pave a successful path to it.Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?We can’t think of anything significant that requires improving. ### Multilingual Digital PR for a Global Fintech Firm
About the Project:
We had the opportunity to work with a leading name in the fintech and brokerage sector, which signed a major sponsorship deal with one of the top soccer teams in Europe. 
Project’s Main goals:
The client wanted to raise awareness to this big move, to maintain its dominance in the sector, and to attract new potential users. Thus, we aimed to raise awareness to the brand through a digital PR campaign. For enhanced reach and exposure, we planned and executed a 2 phase-campaign. 
First off, we released a wide-cycle, multilingual press release in seven different languages and to 20 different countries, ensuring pickups by leading media channels in the financial and sport world, such as Yahoo!, Benzinga, Saudi Gazette, Bolsa Mania, Eco Sports, A Tarde and others.
Subsequently, we created and published over 50 articles in all languages, as follow up content to the press release, thus increasing its circulation, visibility and credibility. This also served as an SEO-boost to the client’s digital assets.

We were able to increase traffic to the client’s website by more than 200% (See attached photo). The client brand acquired recognition, visibility and the announcement generated a significant number of new users and leads as a direct result of the campaign.


### Acquisition Campaign for a Social Network App
About the Project:
We took on the challenge of marketing an emerging global social LGBTQ+ app. The app has just been released (following a successful beta stage), and was targeting a different type of audience than its larger competitors.
Project’s Main goals:
In order to optimize the acquisition potential with any future marketing channel, we started off with app store optimization (ASO), making sure that the app’s pages on App Store and Google Play targeted the optimal keywords for the matching geo-locations and languages. We also promoted positive user reviews en masse through existing users. 
The next stage was to manage cross-platform acquisition campaigns, combining SMM and SEM. This included managing campaigns on Facebook and Twitter, relying on lookalike audiences of influencers who served as brand ambassadors, together with Google search remarketing campaigns and universal app campaigns. 
During these campaigns we generated ongoing digital PR activities, raising awareness to the app, improving its reputation and generating organic traction.

These combined campaigns took the app from its initial 25K ‘beta stage’ users to over 1.2 million users, with eCPIs and eCPAs that are 25-40% lower than the common benchmarks, with high retention and 25%-35% stickiness. 
The ASO actions taken caused the app to reach the top 5 positions in both app stores for all the relevant keywords, resulting in over 1,000 daily organic installs. 

Additional partnerships, influencer cooperations and significant media coverage were achieved through ongoing digital PR activities, raising awareness to the brand and improving its reputation.


### ORM work for a senior figure in a financial world
About the project:
The client approached us after he noticed that, in the blend of information found about him online, one can also find negative and irrelevant content, which is related to another person with the same name. The client was a newly appointed C-level manager of a large financial institution in the United States at the time we started working with him, and thus it was very important for him that his online reputation remain accurate, as many people search his name on Google.
Project’s main goals: 
We wanted to create enough structured content on the client, to strengthen his identity and the information about him, thus pushing information about other people with the same name down on Google’s search results. We also wanted to use the opportunity to better present the client online, and to make the information about him available and accessible in the ‘zero-click’ era.
Created structured meta data about the client, starting from building a personal website for him and indexing it properly for Google. This includes a relevant schema, along with other external information sources. The next stage was creating blog content with relevant keywords and strengthening the client’s presence on his social media platforms.
We managed to create more search results with the help of guest posts and interviews on relevant and popular websites. All of this helped us in creating a linkage between our client and the Google knowledge graph of the financial institution he works at - and that is a powerful tool for people who search for someone online but do not click any of the results on the search page.

### ORM project for a leading jewelry retailer
About the project
The client in this case is a well-known jewelry retail website. Its Google My Business profile was removed by Google, with claims of policy violations. Alongside that, a large number of bad reviews started to appear on different review websites, all seemingly written by dissatisfied clients. On Google My Business specifically, many bad reviews accumulated during a very short period of time.
Project’s main goals
Naturally, the first thing we wanted to do was understand why this had happened. We traced the source of the bad reviews and found they were fake, assuming they were posted by competitor(s). Consequently, we assumed that the Google My Business incident was also an act of sabotage.
We contacted Google and started a restoral process. We found out that the business was reported as non-existent, so we worked with the client to provide sufficient evidence for its existence, and verified its address in various ways that Google finds credible. Meanwhile, we reported the bad reviews on the different platforms, so as to have them removed, and worked alongside the client's support team to encourage its customers to post positive reviews. This effort spanned over a wide variety of websites, including Trustpilot, Sitejabber, Yellow Pages, BBB, and others. We contacted each of these platforms directly as well, so as to make sure that the process is as quick and thorough as possible.

In only three weeks, we were able to restore the client’s Google My Business profile to its original status, verify it and even improve it - while also removing fake negative reviews from all relevant platforms, alongside putting together procedures for monitoring them more carefully and for encouraging satisfied buyers to post more reviews. 


### SEO for a leading global brokerage brand
About the project
One of our largest clients is an online broker and financial services provider, which holds several leading brands that operate in this sphere. In 2018, when the first crypto wave was just starting to rise, the client added crypto trading instruments to its roster. We’d been doing SEO work for the client on a constant basis, so they naturally chose to hand this project to us as well.1
Project’s main goals
We wanted to index our client’s website at the top of search results for the relevant crypto-related keywords that have a strong association to the client's offering, and that have more potential to convert (aka "money keywords"). After extensive research, we started out by optimizing the content on the relevant webpages on the client’s website, making sure they were indexed with the proper keywords (including on-page SEO variables, such as meta assets, webpage content, URLs and more).
Simultaneously, we also operated on the link building front: outreaching to relevant authoritative websites, writing keywords-optimized guest posts and getting them published and linking to our client's website, thus creating external SEO credibility to the connection between the client and the crypto keywords. This was all done in 5 different languages, targeted towards different geo-regions.

The website started to get ranked for target keywords within the 2nd month, and reached the 1st page for most of them within 5 months. Within 2 additional months, the website was ranked in the top-3 positions on Google, for the 3 most valuable keywords in terms of volume and intent,  for 3 out of the main 5 markets.
