Being more detail-oriented earlier in the process -- got much better at it.

We are a startup company developing vending management app. I am one of the co-founder of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Busona?

We hired Busona to design UX/UI for an app for the vending management. We were very satisfied with the work, we re-hired for two other app.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We used Upwork to find a good UX/UI developer for a small budget. We did several interviews. One of the difficult with UX/UI developers to conceptualize your idea. Busona came on top, Ihsan understood very well what we are trying to achieve.

We asked Busona to come up high level wireframe before we go into design. After initial wireframe agreement, we go into UX/UI page design. We used Figma for our designs. We have constant communication during the design. We provided feedback, and Busona addressed all our feedback timely manner. Once the design completed, we went overall review. Once we started implementation of UX/UI design, Busona was there to help if we need any additional design. We had great working environment.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have one senior designer and junior assistant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very happy with UX/UI designs. Some of the flows they came up with it, it was better than how we thought about it. Yet, they have another plus, while we are implementing, they were still with us supporting any design changes after their work completed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had excellent communication. We can provide feedbacks on Figma. They would be responded very quickly. We could get on zoom and review the design. We use slack to communicate as well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me is that they understand our idea and quickly they were able to come up flow designs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think, Busona did an excellent job. One area improvement would be, we could start implementing designs early on, because design and actual implementation do not match 100%. We could catch these early on. But, this is something we need to improve ourselves not Busona. Busona was there to support during the implementation.

The designs were great. Loved working with them. They were professional in their approach.

They were easy to communicate with, delivered on time and had no issues whatsoever.

They understand how agencies operate. They were excellent at providing support.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they can improve their onboarding process, but as agencies work with other agencies, there are so many variables, its hard to have a solid strategy for ad-hoc tasks.
