Idea Grove is a PR and marketing firm for SaaS and other B2B technology clients. I'm the founder and CEO.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our experience is that most MSPs want to keep the relationship entirely remote. They also have set pricing every month, whereas our needs could vary widely from month to month. We liked that BNC provided personal, on-site service and flexible pricing that we could not find from other vendors.

BNC has helped us manage our technology much more efficiently than when we tried to do it on our own. They recommended and set us up on Egnyte and Office 365, which made communication and information storage much easier for us. They are always available to dive in when we have a problem.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

From the CEO on down, they have always been available to us. We are assigned a dedicated point of contact who visits us on site once each month (more as needed). We have only had three POCs in the several years we've worked with them, which speaks to their ability to retain talent and provide continuity to clients. They get to know our company and team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've much more efficient operationally than we ever have been, and IT has been an important part of that result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It's great because we value flexibility and they are always there for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The personal touch. We really get to know them and we believe in their expertise and integrity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have generally been a bit stronger with PCs than Macs, but I know that is an area where they have been working to improve.

We're a small industrial wholesale company that sells industrial supplies and tools to local and state government entities.

For what projects/services did your company hire Business Network Consulting?

BNC came in to update our cybersecurity, cloud storage with Azure, and recommend a hardware update for our team. We don’t have an IT person at the company and knew we needed an update for our hardware, and a more secure cloud storage site. Updating our cybersecurity policies with new antivirus software was needed too.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found BNC in a Google search and the option of on-site, local support sold us on contacting them.

The sales guy came to our office to assess our IT setup and listened to our ideas and needs, then came back a few days later with a few immediate changes. He came with another engineer in a later meeting to set up our new hardware, and cloud storage system. Also they helped with the migration of data from our old storage system.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

One sales engineer came in initially, with a second engineer coming in for the setup and implementation of our antivirus and new hardware.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our cloud storage expanded with saved costs in the long term with a better package for our cloud needs. Our office staff has appreciated the new hardware, and like having an IT professional on call for any issues that arise. Also help with cybersecurity has helped us qualify for other insurance and professional certifications.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great communication, and very helpful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We love having an in-person consultant who comes on-site to cooperate with us. Made us feel like we’re getting better service, and put a face to the company’s name. Business Network Consulting being accessible in the future is nice for future on-site updates.

No, it was great!
