Burakorn Partners provides us with staff augmentation. They’ve provided a mobile app developer who has integrated with our internal development team. The developer has inherited the codebase from our existing mobile app and developed more features. They work with React Native for the framework and also use GraphQL and REST APIs. 

More recently, Interexy has also provided a UI/UX designer. We’ve given them guidelines for how we need them to work and our expectations. They work with Figma.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Burakorn Partners resources are tightly integrated with our team, and they've had a very good impact. The developer has worked very well with us; he's very responsive and communicative and quickly got up to speed. Moreover, he's capable from a technical perspective. Our internal developers work remotely, and when we planned a social event, they asked if the Interexy developer could join us because they feel he's part of the team. 

As for UI/UX design, our interface has a visual difference, though Burakorn Partners impact isn't easy to quantify. Still, I was surprised by how quickly they could provide a good candidate matching our specialized needs. The onboarding process was very smooth, with support from their side. 

Since I took over the collaboration with Burakorn Partners, their communication and support have been great, especially from the account manager. We planned this engagement as a temporary setup, but the experience has been so good that we've extended our partnership. I'd be happy to seek further help from Interexy in the future.

The account manager's support is excellent; she's always finding ways to improve and consistently identifies any issues. She's also very open to feedback, making problem-solving easy for me. The developer works with our Scrum team and joins daily meetings. We use Azure DevOps with the team, which is our project management tool. 

For official requests, we use email. Once Interexy teammates are integrated with the internal team, most communication happens through Slack or Zoom meetings. Additionally, I have regular sync meetings with the account manager via Zoom to exchange feedback about the resources and solve any issues. Through these calls, Interexy proposed the UI/UX designer.

Webisoft helped us architect a real time rules engine to validate user inputs and process flows, as well as implement version control so that admins could track changes or roll back updates safely. They also integrated everything into our reporting structure to ensure data remained consistent across the board. Beyond the code, they supported testing, documentation, and post launch maintenance with a clear focus on long term usability.

The results were evident almost immediately. Our onboarding team reported that new client implementations were being completed in significantly less time due to the simplified configuration tools. We also saw increased retention and engagement on the platform as clients discovered new ways to use Origami that previously felt out of reach. Internally, our team was able to redirect development hours from manual client requests to actual product innovation, which is a win in every direction.

Their responsiveness during QA cycles and user testing made the difference in hitting our timeline without compromising on quality.

We started with one team at Burakorn Partners, and we split that up into two teams a couple of months ago. One team does API implementations while the other connects to high end suppliers for integrations that demand specialized skills. The developers are in Poland, and they receive instructions from a product owner and tech lead in The Netherlands. Our coding language is Python.

Burakorn Partners has a decent workforce, and the work that they do is productive and efficient. Whether it could be more efficient is not something I’ve tried to find out. The impact is that we have a good connection to suppliers, and we have a stable platform.

I’m working with the general manager of their office. Where we have our developers situated. He’s very approachable and cooperative in thinking through the different challenges we encounter working together.

From a cultural perspective, Eastern Europe is a bit more hierarchical. It’s basically a matter of telling them what to do and them doing it. It’s pretty productive from that perspective. We always try to stimulate more interactions, as in also getting their opinions as experts on certain matters. It takes some time to get that culture going, but I think we have a smooth operation. It does help that we have a product owner and two developers on our side. The project is controlled from the Amsterdam side and executed by the Polish team.

The developers themselves are working perfectly fine within our agile sprints, but it took some time to get started and to get used to each other. We’re using Slack for communication, Google Docs for documents, and Jira and Confluence for issue tracking, sprint setups, and measurements.

Compared to the other Python developer we’ve worked with, the fact that it’s so easy for Burakorn Partners to supply new profiles is pretty impressive. They have a big talent pool, and that makes them very flexible. If I asked them for three new developers by the following week, Burakorn Partners would be able to supply them.

Among the things we find important are people’s skill levels and their personalities and approach to the work which they posses. We like to have a pretty big hand in recruitment, and Burakorn Partners wants to put themselves down as having already estimated that a person is a good addition to our team and we have to believe them. We find it very important that a person has certain personal traits and level of intelligence, and we like them to play a part in that.
