What challenge were you trying to address with Broduction?

We had several technical challenges and needed a company to develop a cross-platform mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Broduction has completed the first development stage of our cross-platform mobile application, and we’re currently getting ready to begin the second phase. We’ve conducted collaborative research into the challenges we face, and Broduction uses that research to develop the app. The app is used to construct 3D models of environments where auto accidents occur and the vehicles involved. The models are based on photographs and other visual evidence from each incident, including aerial footage we occasionally receive.

I work directly with two teammates from Broduction, including a project manager and a developer.

Some friends recommended Broduction’s services.

We’ve invested €7,000 (approximately $8,000 USD) with Broduction.

Our engagement with Broduction began in November 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re very satisfied with Broduction’s work — the first phases of testing have been successful. The current iteration of the project is operating very well. 

How did Broduction perform from a project management standpoint?

Typically, we communicate with Broduction through email and Microsoft Team; we occasionally have in-person meetings. Everything has been organized very well, and Broduction always delivers on time. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Broduction’s professional knowledge and background have been suitable for our requirements. They always perform as promised. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for Broduction to improve.

I’d advise customers to trust Broduction’s experience — if there is trust, the partnership will be successful.

I’m the CEO of LAVIMED, a psychiatry and psychology education provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with Broduction?

We needed their expertise in mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our company received a grant to take on a telemedicine project, which required us to have a mobile app developed. We relayed our requirements and provided the necessary documents to Broduction's team, and they conducted market research to determine the appropriate solutions for our project. 

Broduction then developed our appointment setter app from scratch —  they integrated a billing and payment feature and ensured that the platform was iOS- and Android-friendly. Apart from the development, they also handled post-production tasks, including App Store Optimization and marketing.

Their team has since assisted us with other development-related projects on an as-needed basis. They've also performed branding tasks, such as logo creation and web redesign.

Our main points of contact are Broduction's owners, and there's a developer in charge of handling our projects.

How did you come to work with Broduction?

Following our grant requirements, we opened a project request and selected three companies from the market to consider. We ended up onboarding Broduction because they had high-quality solutions offered at the most reasonable price point.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Broduction has made our processes more manageable by delivering an issue-free and straightforward system. Overall, we're pleased with their expertise and capacity to build a functional platform — we definitely have no complaints about their work.

How did Broduction perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and conduct periodic in-person meetings. Broduction is a client-oriented team that responds well to our requests and strives to keep us in the loop throughout the process.

Apart from being a professional partner that delivers our needs, we're pleased with Broduction's friendly and responsive approach.

I'm the owner and the CEO of all-arts platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with Broduction?

We needed a software to stream different live events.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Broduction developed a software and built a website where they integrated the streaming service. Our target audience was the 5 million Hungarian people who live abroad. Broduction helped us with everything because we didn't know how to do it. We were like Netflix; we didn't make the streaming, but we made it possible to watch from anywhere.

What is the team composition?

We worked with four people throughout the project; the two owners and two other members of their team.

How did you come to work with Broduction?

I knew the owner, and I trusted him. I knew they were outstanding and could help us; I told him what I needed, and they put it together.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $13,000–$14,000 with them on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April 2018–July 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work was excellent because we showed the whole system to other companies who told us that it worked great. We had 300 participants that said to us that they had a good experience.

How did Broduction perform from a project management standpoint?

They didn't miss any deadlines and solved issues fast. For project management, they shared with us their storyboard, and we could see how they were doing. We also communicated through email and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most exciting thing is that we could call them and reach them anytime, even if we had any weekend problems or questions.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

I’m the CEO of Allyos Europe, a social shopping platform based in Hungary. Our goal is to revolutionize shopping.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Broduction?

The main idea from the beginning was to outsource the development of the product, because it would be much more manageable and cost-efficient for a small group like ours. The first company we hired was unable to reach our goals, and the quality of the development was bad — that’s when started to reach out to other developers around the country, and found Broduction.

We did a little test for a few features of the app with them, and it went well — so we started working together.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the most recent project we did together, we constantly worked and communicated on a daily basis. The biggest project they worked on was for a new backend system, which took around four months of development to finish. For that, we had to brief them on the requirements, as well as what we would like to see on the new system.

Additionally, we asked them for advice on what technologies we should implement, and what kind of platform we should use — after that, we made a specification system architecture document. Once we finalized that, they started sending us fragments of the development process every 10 days. If there was something we didn’t like, we would modify those features.

Broduction brought in a full-stack team so when we needed a website for one of our products, they provided the work to us without sourcing another member outside.

What is the team composition?

As far as I know, there are 5–6 people in their team, and I remember there were two part-time UX developers.

How did you come to work with Broduction?

We didn’t actually search for them. We made a list of about 5–7 companies we were thinking of working with, and Broduction was the one who actually reached out to us. The owner of the company told us that they knew about us and that they would be glad to work on our stuff — it was really important for us that they were interested in our services, as it made the communications easier.

The hiring process and the creation of our first order were really fast because they were excited about working with us.

We’ve spent about $100,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in November 2019, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re a SaaS company, so the most important metrics for us are KPIs and SLAs. The success of our online time goes beyond 99%, and I actually can’t remember a single event where we had a shutdown.

The sustained part of the development is on Broduction’s side in terms of new features and development — the team works really fast.

How did Broduction perform from a project management standpoint?

There were only a few times when deadlines weren’t met — part of that was our fault, and the other part was because of the pandemic. Despite all that, we never had any problems regarding communication or meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about working with them is the speed of their work. I’m always surprised that they’re a team of only six people.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on graphic design. As a full-time development team, you must also have the essential skill of drawing the app or platform you’re developing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would first ask what kind of project they would be working on. If it’s heavy on the design aspect, I would suggest that they hire a graphic designer first — after that, they could move on to the coding implementation and the development part.

I’m an executive of a rock climbing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Broduction?

We were looking to create an app with maps integration regarding the rock-climbing area.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re currently working with the largest and most visited rock climbing website’s database to build a map app where worldwide rock climbers can locate the more than 900,000 existing places where they can practice. Broduction is currently doing iOS development for the app we want to build. They’re already finishing the fourth version of the product, so it’s been a long-term partnership. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve been working with two members of their team; one is the head of iOS development, and the other is Peter (Managing Director), with whom we see the contracting part.

How did you come to work with Broduction?

A friend referred them to us. We already had a developing partner, but we were looking for someone who could provide even better quality, and they were the best fit for us.

We’ve spent around $20,000 with them so far.

We’ve been working together since June 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

The first version of the app is live now, and it has over 10,000 on iOS. They’ve been reaching all the milestones that we’ve set so far.

I am the COO of Paddlemate. We are developing a performance measurement system specifically developed for paddle sports to objectively measure and improve the sport performance.

We wanted to develop a mobile app to our hardware devices. We had have some prototype but we would like to make an iOS app. Our goal was to have a user-friendly sports app, where the coaches and athletes can see their traning data.
