What challenge were you trying to address with britecode?

Our company was trying to keep up with organic searches, and we hired britecode to help us develop pages that would rank well. We’d worked with other companies before and weren’t satisfied with what they had done for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

britecode has been helping us with the evolution of our website. They help us update everything continuously and stay relevant. Key technologies include WordPress and WooCommerce. Anytime we have an issue with the website, we call them for help. britecode has also been helping us with SEO. 

britecode assists us with a lot of different technical pieces. They’ve integrated many different plug-ins, including one we use to ensure our shopping cart purchases. britecode troubleshoots everything with the plug-ins and takes care of any glitches. They’ve been instrumental in allowing us to conduct internet sales without being frauded. 

What is the team composition?

We primarily work with five individuals, this includes Carlos (CEO). 

How did you come to work with britecode?

We found them through a Google search; we looked at about 50 other companies and worked with 10 before we found britecode. The team from britecode was communicative and patient, and we felt they would be a good fit for our company. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were pleased with the layout of the website and the schematics. 

How did britecode perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via phone calls for the most part, and we have spoken over Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re problem solvers; they fix everything we bring to them, and their help is invaluable. The team from britecode has been better than any other company we’ve worked with, and they have excellent customer service. They aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and talk to us, and they take the time to do that. They thoroughly try to understand the problem before they go in and fix it. They have empathy, and we know they care about us. 

britecode’s team is good at brainstorming and workarounds to get the website to function well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing we can come up with at this point.

What challenge were you trying to address with britecode?

We needed to move our website from one platform to another.

What was the scope of their involvement?

britecode has migrated our Magento storefront to a WordPress storefront and done another website for us. The first project was a takeover of an existing website, and the second one was built from scratch.

We initially sent them part of what we sell so they could have an idea about the product and better familiarity with our company. They’ve designed the websites according to our target audiences’ demographics. The two websites are entirely different, but they’ve worked on both. Currently, they do maintenance work on the sites.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 7–8 teammates throughout the years. We also work directly with the owner.

How did you come to work with britecode?

I searched on Google for the best companies in the area for Magento to WordPress migration.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $80,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them since May 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new site is still getting traction, but the first one has been in business for over 30 years, so it’s got a huge brand awareness. Overall, the quality of their work is excellent. britecode is good at listening and following our vision. They also give good advice and have helped to take work off our plate.

How did britecode perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always available. We’ve called them at midnight and on holidays, and they’re always there to take care of situations immediately. We’ve used Zoom, phone calls, text messages, and email for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Although they’re a small company, they have many talented people. Moreover, britecode’s key strength is that they’re always available when we need them. Since our site is big and has a high volume of visitors, we can lose significant amounts of money in an hour. The team is aware of that, so they’re always there to take care of it. With a high-volume site, that’s everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I honestly don’t know what they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take advantage of the fact that they listen to you. Communication is key on the customer side. Explain what you want so they can do it how you want it upfront. If you don’t give them enough information, they’ll start missing dates because you’ll want changes.

I own an accounting firm specializing in tax resolution. We help out struggling taxpayers and represent them in front of the IRS.

I hired britecode for their development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve been working with Carlos (CEO) and britecode for a few years. They’ve helped me develop my website. In our recent project, I have an AI system that works with taxes. Carlos has helped me integrate that project into my CRM to make my job 10 times easier. 

The project is always a work in progress; we’re simply adding new features to it. Its basic functionality is to process information in my portal to my client CRM. 

Apart from that, britecode helps me manage my Google Ads campaigns. They help me target clients based on my website. Their members create ad assets and keywords. 

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is Carlos. I mostly talk to him virtually. 

How did you come to work with britecode?

I had the opportunity to work with Carlos many years ago. When I had the chance to work with him again on this project, I reached out to him and started the engagement. I selected him over his competitors because he was honest and hardworking. 

How much have you invested with them?

We usually spend about $15,000 per week on Google Ads. Meanwhile, I pay around $3,500 per month for britecode’s fees. I’ve also invested around $1,000 in the website and the AI system.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2019, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is completely finished and polished. That’s great, and we’re truly successful with that. The Google Ads campaign that Carlos manages is also polished and maintained properly. While we’re still in the middle of the current project, they’re performing well so far. 

How did britecode perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever I have a request, britecode opens a ticket for me. I can log in to a portal to see what’s going on and check their progress. The visuals on that portal are nice. They give me estimates, and they pretty much hit their estimates on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their pricing, honesty, and communications distinguish them from other providers. They don’t over-promise and under-deliver.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. I’m super happy with Carlos’ work; he goes above and beyond.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let Carlos know exactly what you need, and he’ll be upfront and honest with you. He’ll give you a free quote, and they’ll stay within it. They’ll also deliver on time.
