Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the co-founder of a digital growth agency. We have over 200 clients in +10 countries. Our team works in 4 different countries.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire BrightAnalytics?

Our financial reporting was a long and repetitive process because we documented everything manually. This took up a lot of our time and we were looking for a solution to make this process more efficient. We started looking for a platform that could optimize our financial reporting, mainly for the purpose of saving time on these financial processes.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We compared various vendors and came in touch with BrightAnalytics through a referral. Their demo quickly convinced us, and the fact that their software could connect with our ERP and accounting packages was definitely a plus. But the most important parts for us were the various functionalities of the platform that matched our needs and the plug-and-play experience the platform provides.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

First, we scheduled a one-on-one demo with someone from the sales team that introduced us to the functionalities of the platform. Once the contract was signed, we got in touch with one of the business analysts that supported and guided us through the implementation of the platform.

Once the platform connected with all our data and everything was up and running (which went quite fast), she gave us a half-day of training about the ins and outs of the platform. Any time we have a question we can easily turn to our customer coach. The financial reporting platform also has explanatory videos, so even if we want to figure it out on our own, we can do so.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had contact with 3 people. 2 people from sales and our business analyst/customer coach. To us it was a great advantage that everything got settled mainly through one BrightAnalytics employee, so we didn’t have to stay in touch with multiple people at the same time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are saving a lot of time! Our financial reporting is now generated automatically, which gives us a fast and accurate picture of our financial situation and gives us more time to easily analyze our numbers. Everything is connected and linked perfectly, and the numbers are updated every night, so in the morning we have the most recent numbers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Professional and corporate project management style. Deadlines were met as agreed and they were transparent about the turnover from day one. We communicated via mail and had our meetings through Zoom and Google Meet. Also anytime questions arise we can just call our customer success coach.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team is always on stand-by and their especially short implementation time struck me. In less than a month the platform was up and running, and my co-founder could immediately start playing with the dashboards.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have not experienced any point of improvement yet from their side. Their tool does what it promises, communication goes fluently and they communicate about what they are doing.
