I was CMO for Halo Health, which was recently acquired by Symplr. Now, I’m VP of growth marketing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Breezy Hill Marketing?

We needed help with website strategy and maintenance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Breezy Hill Marketing helped to set our marketing team up until the point of hiring a CMO. They came in for a six-month engagement to structure the marketing and prepare it for a leader. Also, they were involved in the hiring process for the CMO.

Then, they stayed on for blogging, SEO, and web maintenance engagements.

What is the team composition?

I work with Laura (Founder) and Jeffrey (Agency Founder & Managing Director). We also have a project manager and a social blogger.

How did you come to work with Breezy Hill Marketing?

Our executive leadership team hired them to serve as marketers until we could grow to have a CMO.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our partnership in July 2020, and we’re still working together. I plan to bring them to Symplr.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They execute as part of our team, and they were able to provide their services as interim staffing while we hired the team members we needed. Moreover, we’ve increased website traffic by 25% and improved SEO by 60%.

How did Breezy Hill Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform very well. We use Microsoft Teams and Basecamp and communicate over phone calls, emails, and Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re true professionals. Some agencies don’t understand what it’s like to work as a client. Breezy Hill Marketing does, so they’re very effective at understanding the business challenges internally and finding ways to solve them, whether it’s content, blogging, lead generation, or so on.

Overall, they’re very talented, and one of the best parts about working with them is that we work with the principal. With some agencies, the client doesn’t have access to the leaders or owners of the business. With Breezy Hill Marketing, we do — it’s exceptional.

I don’t have any feedback. However, if there’s any, they’ve respected it and modified their plans.

I’m the CEO of Local Capital, which is a nonprofit organization and innovation lab.

What challenge were you trying to address with Breezy Hill Marketing?

I needed explainer videos to accompany some of the online tools that my organization is developing, so I hired Breezy Hill.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I shared a storyboard with Breezy Hill using Google Docs. It detailed what kind of graphics I wanted to add into the explainer videos and allowed us simultaneously think through the specifications of the project. I then sent the raw videos which they edited and added intros, outros, and graphics to. They did this for six of my videos, each having a length of roughly two minutes.

.What is the team composition?

I was in contact with just one person, Audrey (Graphic & Website Designer). She did everything from designing the graphics to inserting additional elements into the videos and editing the sound.

How did you come to work with Breezy Hill Marketing?

At the time, I wanted a marketing and web design firm that was big enough to have specialized resources, but not so big as to provide factory-like services. Breezy Hill and I are in the same community and they had the perfect vibe to them, so I decided to work with their agency.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent $975.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in May 2021 and finished in June 2021. I will certainly go back to them if I have other needs in the future as I’ve already worked with them many times in the past.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The level of communication was something that I really appreciated. Audrey really laid out everything that she needed at the very first kickoff meeting. We talked about the timelines and she was very clear about the deadline for the pieces that she needed to be able to do the work. Throughout the whole project, she let me know when she had received the things that I sent. 

When I had questions, Audrey responded really fast and supplied really great answers. She proactively informed me about how the project was moving along.

How did Breezy Hill Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

It was pretty turnkey. As soon as I had the storyboards and videos done, I provided Audrey with the pieces she needed. Next thing you know, she had finished six beautiful videos for me.

We had our initial meeting through Zoom, but after that, all of our communication was done through Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The attention to detail is the best part of working with them. Audrey picked up on things that I hadn’t thought about. She really made sure that the videos were done to the specifications that I’d laid out, thinking through all the details and adding more elements that I hadn’t known to ask for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s none that I can think of. It was a seamless process and I’m very happy.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Definitely have a clear idea of what it is that you want and have a systematic way of communicating. One of the reasons Audrey and I worked so well together is because I had a storyboard with all kinds of details laid out. It provided her with clear direction and made it easy for her to find what she needed. Having a creative brief at the outset helps you all get on the same page before you even get started.

We hired Breezy Hill Marketing to manage our inbound marketing, content marketing, social media advertising, social media marketing, and website design / development. We have been working together since the spring of 2019.

I learned about Breezy Hill Marketing through their work with other real estate professionals.

Breezy Hill Marketing manages my team's digital marketing by creating design graphics based on our brand, by creating social media posts and social media ads, and by planning our inbound marketing strategy. In additional Breezy Hill Marketing creates a monthly newsletter for my clients and prospects.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

My team works directly with an Inbound Marketing Consultant who is assigned to our account, and we work with a Marketing Strategist who oversees our programming. When our website requires updates or changes, we submit requests to the Support Team who handles these updates. Our marketing Consultant oversees these support requests.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have seen a significant increase in brand awareness, website visits, and social media exposure. Year-over-year our real estate business continues to grow and we leverage our digital presence to support our in-person work. Our digital marketing program is part of our core offering to our clients, when we discuss how we market our listings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Breezy Hill team has a clear structure and set of tools that they use to manage our inbound marketing program. This organization makes the workflow straightforward and reliable. We meet monthly to review data and plan, and we use email to communicate between meetings. There is an effective communication with my team, as well as among the Breezy Hill Marketing team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge of the real estate industry and their responsiveness to our needs and requests are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.
