My website was in deperate need of an upgrade. One of the key things Brandhopper digital noticed was that my brand was not telling the story of my brand. What makes my company and what can I deliver to my clients based on just seeing my website. They were able to create a beautiful website that sets the tone of what my company is about. We went ahead and changed the whole theme to what they thought was best for my brand. Offered a lot of advice on what things to change on policies, etc to start getting people to buy from the website. My email marketing was also an issue. They went ahead and changed the templates and visuals of my email flows to better engage customers through my emails. I am looking forward to seeing the changes with the new improvements.

Time will tell once everything gets implemented, but the visual website and flow break down are much improved from my previous set up.

I have been working on trying to grow my brand for the last year and spent a lot of money with other companies with little to no results. Once I got with Brandhopper it made me wish I would have worked with them from the beginning. They have been committed to helping me grow my brand from the beginning. They are always making suggests to help with growth and are in contact with me regularly on what they are working on. 

They have been creating content and getting content created to use on the Meta ads they are running for me. They are continuing to optimize my shopify website with new suggestions. We are working towards being profitable with my ads and are very close after just a month and a half. I would suggest them to anyone that is looking to grow a shopify brand.

We hired Brandhopper Digital to help us start spending on digital ads, such as PPC. We aimed to scale this effort up to a point where it was profitable.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we had a few phone and video calls where we discussed my business. Brandhopper Digital requested to see my branding assets, which I sent over to them. They also asked me to fill out a survey about my business so they could get all the information they needed. From there, they came up with various campaign ideas and strategies, which they deployed via Google and Facebook ads.

Our partnership with Brandhopper Digital was absolutely successful. They hit my ROAS and ad spend targets consistently and helped me grow my business. 

How did Brandhopper Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Brandhopper Digital quoted me upfront on a per-project basis, so when they gave me a quote for something, that was exactly how much the project cost. We didn’t have to come back later only to see something was much higher than they quoted. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Dan and his associate were both great to work with; they were easy going and honest about results. They explained if things were good or bad in an easy to understand way even if it was a complex problem. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

My favorite part of working with them was the fact that they were a small agency and only took enough work that they could do well. As a result, they could take care of their clients truly well. On top of their good services, their pricing was fair. Overall, everything about them was great, and it was hard to find that in any other agency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. They did a great job, and I truly enjoyed working with them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Some agencies require you to start with a big commitment upfront. As a result, it’s hard to build trust, which is something I need to work with a partner and pay them a substantial amount. With Brandhopper Digital, you’ll get a bunch of options with lower costs and that allows you to test what it’s like working with them. Given that, if you’re planning to work with them, test their Google services first before you start doing Facebook.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brandhopper Digital?

We bought the business from its previous owner last year, and we needed someone to update the Shopify website. Our goal was to increase traffic and conversion rates.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brandhopper Digital redesigned our existing Shopify website — they used the foundation of the original website, but the Shopify theme was all brand-new. We wanted a more professional website that contributed to our branding and communicated our message to customers better. The team completely changed the look and feel of the website. They mainly did frontend development, but they did a few things on the backend as well. 

Besides the development work, Brandhopper Digital also answered questions relating to development outside the project scope.

We were only in contact with the owner, who worked with his team on the implementation.

I was looking for someone who could help out with Shopify and found them through an online community. A few agencies reached out to us with an offer, but we had a good feeling about Brandhopper Digital.

There was definitely an uptick in traffic, conversion rates, and sales after we went live with our new Shopify site. Overall, it was a very positive experience for us.

The project management was good. We had a weekly call set up to discuss our goals and set up defined actions for the following week. We communicated via email as well.

Early on, we needed a little bit more hand-holding — we needed someone who could help us along the way, not an agency that just did what we asked for and dumped it on us without explanation. Brandhopper Digital was willing to help us throughout the whole process by taking us through all the steps and addressing our questions and issues. Their guidance really helped us along the way and kept us engaged.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They collaborated with us and didn’t just disappear to work on it alone. The team made sure to involve us in the process, making it a real team effort. Brandhopper Digital was also accommodating when we needed advice for development work outside of the agreed-upon scope — we got more out of them than what we agreed to on paper.

We went live without a testing period, but it all went fine. I wouldn’t see it as a negative point because the team did such a good job.

We hired Brandhopper Digital to redesign our Shopify site, implement automated email sequences, and set up/manage our Google PPC/FB retargeting ads.

How did you select Brandhopper Digital and what were the deciding factors?

I met Dan, the Founder of Brandhopper Digital, from an e-commerce group we both participate in. Having exposure to him there gave me confidence in engaging him on these first projects.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Dan has been very consultative from the start. We discussed the company’s current state and future goals and objectives. From there Dan provided a roadmap of possible engagements from which we prioritized and refined into a final Project Proposal. We first began work on the email automation project, in which we defined a series of sequences to improve brand awareness and loyalty while increasing revenue and customer lifetime value.

There were several iterations on the first sequence to get the design aesthetic and voice aligned with the brand. Once we were satisfied, the rest of the sequences came along quickly and they were soon implemented in Klayvio. Once the automations were in place, we began focusing more on the Google PPC work.

We first began testing Google text and Shopping ads, and we've since begun scaling up budgets on the campaigns that are working, continually refining along the way. Lastly, Dan’s team began work on a redesign of our Shopify site where we implemented a new theme, shifted from a single product to multiproduct orientation, integrated more brand info across all pages, and implemented a new ratings/review platform and upsell/cross-sell platform, among other things.

We spent time up front, doing an intake to further understand the mission and value of the company, founder, etc. in order to articulate our brand story across the site.

Several people from Dan's team worked on our projects including a Google PPC specialist, FB Ad specialist, graphic designer, web developer, and Amazon PPC specialist.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As a result of Dan's efforts, our conversion rate has tripled (.65% to 2.00%), traffic is up 6.5x, and accordingly, our Shopify sales are now a meaningful portion of overall revenue. More importantly, our customer list and community is growing, enabling many benefits as we develop and launch new products and develop the brand.

The team put the extra effort to clearly communicate goals and timelines. Both upfront and as projects are underway. We generally have weekly meetings and he's always available via text, chat, emial, or Slack.

Dan is extremely responsive, professional, and fun to work with. He listens well and reliably integrates what's he learned into the projects. He's also extremely proactive, identifying problems or reporting results before I even ask. I feel like he is truly part of our team. His expertise and experience are valuable inputs into our digital marketing strategy.

Brandhopper was recommended to us by the owner of another e-commerce outfit that had a great experience with them.

We kicked off with a couple of meetings so that Brandhopper could help better understand our company and goals. After this it was on us to provide them with some basic data and then they went to work helping us better determine who our audience was.

They were back to us within a week of a detailed analysis of their findings and recommendations for moving forward with the web redesign and tweaking of our brand's voice.

From there we did weekly calls to go over progress and we were blown away by how quickly things progressed and their attention to details. Everything wrapped up by week four and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I found Dan, through an eCommerce site called ecom crew, he was showing a website that he had created for another student, the difference was amazing.

The project : We have had 6 - 8 zoom calls and 30 + emails to discuss the nitty-gritty's about both projects. Dan has made himself available to suit in with our time zones which was very nice of him. He has had a series of questions and then asks for feedback and then goes away and implements. Whats really impressive, Dan then went and emersed himself in researching our niche, he came out the other side being able to speak about what we do nearly better than us. We need to lift our game now :) We've had to go back and forth on many occasions for our branding colours or other and nothing was too hard - Dan has a calming nature which is perfect when dealing with people who are unsure of what they need - he directs in part and always gives other options to consider

We now have a foundation that we can launch all our new products off, we have guidelines in place so simple mistakes cannot be made. Like colours, to font size to the font used. By doing the work at the very beginning it makes our lives so much easier moving forward. We now have a shopify website and our story can be told so we have another form of income other than amazon. Its all about spreading the risk and Dan and helped us achieve that. Dan also has recommendations on 3pls to use - photographers - videographers ++ / He also specialises in FB ads / so our relationship is just starting.
