    BACKGROUND

    Please describe your company and your position there.

    We're a non-profit Martial Arts organization with schools in 10 states. We exist to guide the schools and provide standard for testing and certification. I am an executive board member and have served 20 years in this role.

    OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

    For what projects/services did your company hire Brandhopper Digital?

    Consolidation of methods/standards for schools to use to represent the organization. Quality control was a main concern and we needed a company to guide us through how to reign in all the variation we were seeing.

    What were your goals for this project?

    To have a "one look" for all schools and establish standards for our web presence. Also to understand the dynamics of e-marketing and how we could best leverage the must up-to-date tools available.

    SOLUTION

    How did you select this vendor?

    Word of mouth via existing customer.

    Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

    All schools were locally managed and had wide range of quality and branding issues. Our existing board of directors decided to outsource the project to a professional to bring the schools together. The services provided were to provide a set of standards for logo/brand use, and standardize theme, and all the small details down to font type and placement of logo. All these things were very helpful in giving our IT people something to align to. Brand-Hopper Digital also provided examples of fliers, letter heads, social media headers and website design for our schools to use as templates for future advertisement activity. Brand-Hopper Digital also advised us on best practices for timing of new material and the importance of keeping our web presence fresh. Providing suggested calendar setting activity to drive participation of the schools.

    What was the team composition?

    We worked primarily with one person, Dan, and he coordinated the gathering of our wants as an organization and worked to meet them through the media solutions he provided.

    RESULTS & FEEDBACK

    Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

    We are in early stages of fanning out to the schools with internal deadlines of this summer to be fully online with new look. Some schools are aligned to this format and are reporting some promising results and we expect the same with other schools as our focus is to increase our organizations membership.

    How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

    Well done. Brandhopper Digital was patient with us and worked around our timelines. We had periodic phone meetings where we discussed the latest ideas and suggestions they provided. We were able to land on a final look very quickly. I attribute this to Brand-Hopper understanding what we were looking for in our initial conversations. In other words, they nailed it right out the gate on what we were looking for.

    What did you find most impressive about this company?

    The ability to listen and translate into media, the wants of the customer. The speed in which they delivered a final product that satisfied an executive board comprised of 7 people was impressive. The ease of adoption into the schools is also something that has been a great surprise.

    Are there any areas for improvement?

    Since the only issues were on our end in getting material and replying to Brand-Hopper (in which they were very patient), I really can't complain about anything they could improve on. Very customer friendly company!
