I am an owner/partner for a financial plan focused investment services company. I also am a part owner for a company that focuses on retirement plans for small businesses.

We utilized Brandcoders to develop and build out our website for both companies

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to have a page that was very clean, easy to navigate for prospective clients and rated fairly well on SEO. SEO was not a prioirty. Prospective clients generally find us through word of mouth and utilize the website as a confirmation of our services and abilities.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Brandcoders through seeing the work they've done for other professionals, the quality of their response time and the professionalism with which they replied to our questions and concerns. Having no experience in this area...those were all very important.

They did everything for us outside of our bio pictures and some of our content. They basically held our hand through out the whole process.

There were three individuals that assisted us during this project.

We have had an incredible amount of clients and prospects tell us how professional the website looks. We have had a few folks as us for the referral to Brandcoders as well.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The two main points of contact were Dimitri C., who led the conversation and initiated planning and also Danny H. who finalized all of the details.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their responsiveness and quality of work were most impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. I would highly recommend them from top to bottom. They were professional, their work product was amazing and they were a pleasure to work with from a personal perspective.

I’m the owner of Almquist Farms. We sell grass-fed and wagyu beef, chicken, and pork raised directly from small farms to consumers across the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brandcoders?

We’re in a competitive market with a lot of different options. We wanted to bring awareness to potential customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brandcoders designed our logo. Their team designed and developed our e-commerce website. They recommended a couple of technologies for the platform including Shopify, which we chose.

They remain our subject matter experts on web development, e-commerce, SEO initiatives, and online advertising efforts. Their team gives us different options and walks us through the benefits of each option. We ultimately make the decision, but they tell us the ins and outs of every option.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with three people from Brandcoders.

How did you come to work with Brandcoders?

Initially, I found them through a referral. I first engaged them on a project for my other company. With that company, my business partner used them before for a website and software design project. He introduced us because he had a great experience with Brandcoders.

What is the status of this engagement?

We launched the project in August 2017 and have a continuous relationship. I check in with them from time to time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

If it wasn’t for Brandcoders, I wouldn’t have sales because I wouldn’t have a brand. They made my ideas a reality and the website looked incredible. 

Their team wants to make sure that we make the best decision for us. They make us aware of what worked for other people in similar situations.

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

They always meet deadlines and constantly provide updates. If you need another update, they’ll give it to you on the spot. It never feels like we’re bothering them, which is huge.

We developed a good enough relationship where I can text the owner any questions. He always replies with helpful advice.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I sent Brandcoders a picture of a vodka bottle with a logo I loved. I told them that I loved the theme and asked if they could design a similar logo for my company. I didn’t know how to describe what I wanted, so I gave them a general idea and feedback. Their graphic designers ran with my ideas and knocked the web design out of the park.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I wouldn’t ask them to change anything. They’ve done an amazing job.

edgefactory is an EMMY® award-winning, full-service creative production company designed to support production companies. We are a factory specializing in design, motion, and editing. We elevate organization brands by adding energy, emotion, and edge to meetings, tradeshows, special events, and corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies, major industry associations, and more.

In addition, to live event content and corporate communications, we produce commercials, public service announcements, and training videos. I am the Production Technology Manager in charge of office IT, assets, and technologies, as well as the project manager for our website development.

We hired Brandcoders to develop an updated custom website for edgefactory.com. As well as they are our vendor partner for developing programs and apps for use at meetings and tradeshows.

What were your goals for this project?

To upgrade our website to be more user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and SEO rich. To ensure the framework needs for the website and our creative content came together in a cohesive manner.

We were introduced to Brandcoders through one of our clients. They shared high praise for their work, efficiency and customer service.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They created a custom website design as well as laid out the framework to make updating our website easy and user friendly for our team. They optimized our SEO, back-linking, and framework of our website.

What was the team composition?

The team composition was not a topic of discussion for us. We chose Brandcoders based on the quality of their work and their pricing. For us, the size of the team did not matter. We knew their product was the perfect fit for us.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our placement on web searches and analytics showed a distinctly positive impact after launching our new re-design. The website is now extremely mobile-friendly and flows well for our users. Also the time it takes to make the changes we need and the frequency to which we update has greatly be reduced and has become more efficient.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Through emails, conference calls, and video conference meetings. Brandcoders' project management was smooth, clear, helpful, and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their portfolio of work and customer service blew us away.

I’m the events coordinator at Vines Grille, a venue for 250 guests that does private dining and corporate events.

We initially hired them to redesign our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brandcoders redesigned our website. They now manage all of our SEO and Google Ads. The team assists with advertising for all of the restaurant and corporate events that we have. They also introduced MailChimp to us and implemented it into our system. 

Additionally, they recently added a curb-side and to-go option to our website that was really challenging because we had never done it before.

We work with Dimitri (CEO & Founder), who is our main point of contact, as well as another teammate.

Dimitri had worked with someone from the company in the past and Brandcoders had been a good asset for them. So, they decided to bring the team on to work with our restaurant.

Our engagement began at the beginning of 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Brandcoders has increased our web traffic significantly since we began working with them. Since I started working with events, Dimitri’s assistance has helped me book a lot of corporate event leads and make us known to the public. 

He has brought a lot of business for us. Additionally, he has increased the traffic for any kind of special events we have going on. 

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

Dimitri is very hands-on, communicates well, and keeps us up to date on any changes made to the website or Google Ads. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we were adding the curb-side and to-go option to our website, Dimitri helped us with that and made the process quick and easy. It has brought a lot of business for us, especially given what’s going on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no suggestions. Everything they do is great.

Please describe your company and your position there.

Give Hope Foundation was established as a non-profit corporation in early 2005. As a volunteer-operated non-profit organization, we provide support to children and families in Central Florida who are battling childhood cancer and have a unique combination of medical, emotional and financial needs. Many families struggle with keeping a job when their child is diagnosed with cancer. The constant trips to the doctor, overnight stays in the hospital, and surgeries affect their ability to maintain a job. Paying a utility bill or buying gas to drive to visit their child in the hospital becomes difficult without income. We step in to help resolve these needs that arise through partnerships with local vendors and donations. As the Director of Give Hope Foundation, my role is to over see all fundraising initiatives. This includes- fundraising, events, community/donor relationships, and more. I have been a part of Give Hope since 2012.

As a nonprofit in Central Florida we needed a way to stand out and make a difference in our community. Give Hope has taken the time to carefully adapt to the times and seek the best to create a website and social media presence. Recently, we have worked with Brandcoders on creating a fresh new layout on our website. Our website tells donors where to purchase sponsorships, potential donors who we are and what we do, which is so important. It's where families fill out applications when their in need. Ultimately, the website is a source of marketing and information for our community!

What were your goals for this project?

Go through each page and tab to update images, information, and re-organize the overall look of the website.

Through a mutual contact.

Brandcoders walked us through every page and tab to review the content and information. They suggested on how it should flow and how to get our mission visible to donors. In addition, we are adding additional programs that will include links (applications). Taking away extra or repeated information for a cleaner look and easier for donors to navigate.

The team consisted of 3 team members from Brandcoders. They each had a role and gave their professional suggestions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Give Hope Foundation and Brandcoders have met and are constantly in contact discussing the project and the things that need to be included on the website. From meetings, vision, and professional suggestions Brandcoders has help us tremendously. We look forward to the final product, but have been satisfied with everything so far.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have been able to communicate very easily via email and zoom meetings. As the Director I have solely met with the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was highly impressed with the professionalism and knowledge we were provided. In addition, to the work and it has made Give Hope Foundation an important community partner.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were very satisfied with Brandcoders overall.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brandcoders?

The challenge was updating our business’ website and branding.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brandcoders didn’t develop the website from scratch; they just gave it a facelift and updated all our service line logos. There was a creative piece that took place at first, and the website was the next step. The team also did some SEO work. 

What is the team composition?

I interacted directly with 4 people from Brandcoders, including a graphic designer, an SEO expert, their company leader, and a project manager. I’m sure there were others doing work behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Brandcoders?

I’d worked with them in the past on a development project. They did a great job with that, so I knew they had the expertise. We quoted out the website update with multiple companies and had them all do presentations. 

We ended up going with Brandcoders because they did research on our company, they sounded knowledgeable, and they were eager to roll up their sleeves and jump in. The team knew what they were talking about in our first meeting, and they impressed our senior executives.

We spent $25,000–$35,000

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from June 2019–March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of work was excellent. When it came to UI/UX, Brandcoders really understood what users were looking for and recognized that we had to be mobile-friendly. They did a great job of making our website flow beautifully in the mobile environment, which hadn’t been the case before. 

We’ve seen a big improvement there. In terms of design, they understood our brand and where we wanted to go with our brand identity. They were able to then translate that into a website that represented our identity.

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

I only have positive comments. They were great at managing the project. We had constant communication, and they were on top of the project from beginning to end. We delayed it a lot on our end, just because we weren’t ready and we had other business priorities. 

Even though what was supposed to be a 2–4-month project turned into one that was twice as long, they were understanding and continued working with us. They checked in from time to time, and, when we were working actively, they were very involved and on top of things.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brandcoders knew how to get a website out there, how to put it on all the business listings to make sure everyone can find it, and how to handle updates. We made a lot of changes on our website. We did a pretty big overhaul, removing a lot of things due to strategic priorities. 

They were able to work with us and help us succeed. When it came to SEO, we had a very rich SEO in the past, and they ensured that we’d be able to bring that along and maintain it as we went to a more simplified website than what we’d had before. 

That was really critical. They understood development, but also launching sites and how to become and stay visible. This was especially important given that we had a long history as a business and had to stay visible on search engines after updating the site.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve never had anything negative to say about them, especially this time around, but also the first time I worked with them. They’re just a really great team. They work hard and get things done. I think they’ve gotten even better. 

I’ve worked with quite a few companies in the past, updating sites and launching new ones. None of them have been as easy to work with and as on top of it. We had other things on our minds, and couldn’t finish certain copy pieces on time, but Brandcoders was just really easy to work with.

I have two businesses— a law firm that specializes in estate planning, business planning, and asset protection; the other is another law firm for probate and trust administration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brandcoders?

We started working with them to update and redesign our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They migrated our site onto WordPress. We plan to integrate online intake systems so we can collect information through online forms on our site. The site is forward-facing and the goal is to intake information and communicate with clients.

On top of that, they’ve helped develop a marketing plan for one the firms. They’ve been involved in group phone calls in order to plan our marketing budget and design. We’re about to implement that strategy, and will soon test it to determine what is effective. We plan to d PPC campaign in the future, but right now, we’re happy with the strategy.  

We also plan to work on an app in the future.

We’ve worked with four people.

How did you come to work with Brandcoders?

Initially, I knew them through a personal relationship. I also had a few friends work with Brandcoders, and they did a great job. In our initial meeting, they took the time to understand out business. They asked a lot of questions and really dug into the purpose of our project and how we could get clients.

 I also noticed that they were on top of everything. They checked in with me every few days and would follow up if I missed any information.

We started working together in January 2019 and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their work is topnotch. We’re about to roll out the new marketing strategy. Everything will be deployed in the next few weeks. Then, we’ll be able to quantify the results.

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

I liked their project management. There is one person dedicated to communication while others are assigned to certain aspects of the projects. Their emails always contain bullet points of what needs to be done and what they’re working on, so it’s easy to follow. They’re on top of everything, so they’re able to make deadlines. They also remind me when they need something.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re invested in my company. When we work with them, it feels like they were partners in our business. For example, we’ve had 3–4 phone calls with marketing agencies in just the last few days, and they negotiated better prices and explained our marketing plan. They’ve been involved the entire time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything I’d ask them to improve on.

I’m the founder of GroceryAnchored.com, which is a real estate platform that amalgamates grocery shopping centers that are for sale across the country. It allows buyers of that vertical of real estate to go on the site and select from all the grocery stores for sale.

Brandcoders built our site from scratch with WordPress. When we redo our site with them, they'll use a different platform.

We went with another company and spent significant dollars but didn’t receive a product from the investment. Once we finished that engagement, we dug deeper into the market to find the right team for us.

We were agnostic to the overall location and Brandcoders happened to be in Orlando. They presented us with the best team and business plan. I also found Dimitri (CEO & founder) to be straightforward about time and price. He asked questions about my goals, which made me more comfortable with him.

We’ve spent somewhere in the six figures range.

We started working together in June 2018 and our engagement's ongoing.

It had a huge impact. We wouldn’t have a website without them. To measure our success is to measure the success of the company. We’ve had a level of success such that we’re going to work with Brandcoders on the third version of our website.

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

Dimitri is always available via email, text message, and phone calls. He services his clients well and guards the gate well for his employees. I haven’t met a Brandcoders teammate who wasn’t impressive. Their team strikes a balance between coders who wear shorts and a t-shirt and coders in suits and ties. Dimitri works incredibly hard to make sure he finds the right personnel.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed by their overall performance. They delivered exactly what I wanted within the expected timeframe and maintained a positive attitude. On top of that, they made suggestions along the way. They communicate well and have good people on their team. Brandcoders put out a good product, so I have no complaints, which is important to emphasize.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

It’s a great-looking website, and it’s easy for my assistant to log in and upload pictures and content on it. We’ve gotten responses from people looking for services in other cities, for example, Miami. So, the website has done well overall.

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

I would really recommend Brandcoders. They understood from the get-go that I knew nothing about this subject, so they were patient. Their communication has been very good throughout the entire process. Every time I need them, I call them and they’re there.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Communication is very important, and they’ve been very good at that. Additionally, they were prepared for our meetings, answering my questions before I even asked them. That was quite impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The issue of price is always something to consider. I wish it would’ve been a little cheaper but I’m okay with the price I’ve paid.

They built the whole website and booking system, and they customized it according to what we needed.

We've worked with about six teammates.

How did you come to work with Brandcoders?

They came highly recommended. I checked out their website as I was shopping around, and they grabbed my attention immediately because they were sharp and polished. As soon as I spoke to Dimitri (CEO & Co-Founder), I knew that they were the right fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

They began working on the website in August 2019, and they’re still making changes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we haven’t launched our marketing campaign yet, it’s hard to give metrics. However, the website looks incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a better look for our brand.

They nailed everything from the quality, how clean it looks, and the user-friendliness. We’re confident that it’s going to bring the results that we need. Overall, Brandcoders knocked it out of the park. 

How did Brandcoders perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication is fantastic. The team’s ideas exceeded all of ours put together, and they did everything much quicker than we imagined. Dimitri has been very involved, and the team has met every deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We didn’t have anything set up, so I can’t speak highly enough about how they brought our vision to life. They condensed everything and made the website easy to navigate and user-friendly. Additionally, they are always willing to implement our updates and get them perfect each time.

No, I have no suggestions. I recommend them to everybody I know who needs a new website or an updated one.
