I'm the president and owner of Megram Consulting Services. My company manages nonprofit organizations, does governance with their boards, and manages all their administrative work.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bradbury Brand + Design Experts?

We needed a complete rebranding for our company. We had recently purchased the company, so we needed to separate its branding from the old to the new one.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bradbury conducted a complete rebranding of our company, including our logo and mission statement. Initially, we provided them with our old mission statement and RFP so that they could see what our brand style was before and what we wanted it to be. Additionally, they had a meeting with six of our staff members.

In addition to the rebranding project, Bradbury also offered to develop our website. However, we haven't started that project yet because we haven't decided what we want to do with it.

I was in contact with both owners of Bradbury.

I found them online. I interviewed several companies before choosing Bradbury.

We spent around $18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I first contacted Bradbury in March 2023, but the work didn't start until April 2023. The project was completed in December 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although we don't have specific metrics regarding the new branding, the feedback I received from clients was that the new brand was a lot neater, cleaner, and eye-appealing. Overall, Bradbury went above and beyond our expectations.

How did Bradbury Brand + Design Experts perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication was on point, and the budget was reasonable. Although we had a few issues with the timing, the delays were caused by life situations on both sides. No delay was considered unacceptable, so I had no complaints. We communicated via phone calls, emails, and Zoom meetings.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Both owners were absolutely wonderful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that Bradbury's owners are married and are able to collaborate together was outstanding. My husband and I own our company, so that was a common denominator — we could understand their situation.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing Bradbury could have improved on.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Make sure you have enough time to have the meetings.

They managed the collection of content from the Chamber and the collection and placement of advertisements from advertisers. They created the cover and overall content design to fit wth the Chamber's current brand, and with its previous series of annual reports.

The Annual Report was developed in alignment with the Chamber brand. It was creative, yet fit with previous series of Annual Reports. It was delivered within the agreed upon schedule, and within the agreed upon budget. The design expert was knowleegeable and easy to work with. It was a very positive experience overall.

All project milestones were delivered on time. The design expert reached out regularly to provide updates and ensure the project was in alignment with the overall direction required by the Chamber.

Catharine was very prompt in responding to questions, or changes in direction identifed by the Chamber. She was very focused on delivering to our timelines and worked to ensure we were aware well in advance of the dates she requird content from us.The project was completed on time and met all of our targeted goals.

We wanted to rebrand our organization and increase brand awareness and engagement.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bradbury Brand + Design Experts provided graphic design and rebranding services. They created our design guidelines, graphic materials, and promotional items. Initially, we met them and told them what we wanted to achieve. We’d already done strategic planning and some focus groups.

We discussed what we wanted to see in the rebrand, and they proceeded from there. The deliverables were a new logo, branding, and the marketing plan for the new brand. Bradbury Brand + Design Experts took a couple of months to go through the details and come back with the original prototypes. Then, we tweaked them and chose from the second set of graphics.

We only worked with the owner, Catharine (Creative Director, Graphic Designer & Problem Solver).

Since we had new graphics, we started a campaign to market ourselves. We also used Bradbury Brand + Design Experts for other images to use in partnership with other entities.

Moreover, they met and exceeded our expectations; the quality of their work was great. We’ve used their graphics in all different areas of our organization and regularly given their name out for other companies to use and expand.

The scope of work for our project included a full brand revitalization process. It started with Bradbury's fantastic Brand Imprint process with our key stakeholders. The information gathered was used to complete key deliverables, including reviewing and revising our key messages, brand promise, elevator pitch, values, etc. 

Bradbury also did a refresh of our graphical identity, including updating the logo, colour palette, font set and photography style. They helped us create customer personas and to map out our customer experience journey, so we could better understand and meet our customers' needs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our company had been using its previous identity for close to 25 years. The refresh has helped us to gather more attention and to better explain our complex offer to customers.

Bradbury was very professional. Project management was great -- they delivered on time, the one time they had a minor delay on their end we were given lots of notice. When we had delays on our side (many!), they were flexible and very collaborative in how to ensure the project continued to move forward. I really appreciated how they worked with us as a team, rather than as two separate entities.

The skill of the people and their dedication to their customers. Their work was exceptional, their staff were experts, and they were really, really easy to work with.

Not that I can think of! I've worked as a director of marketing communications for a number of companies and have done projects with outside companies many times, and this was easily the best one of the bunch. The team at Bradbury made it so easy and the end result is fantastic.

This project included the branding, design and updating of 10 issues of our Encore concert program which is used for print and digital distribution. The key deliverable for this project was the template of the program that would be updated for every issue, with main content staying the same. The deliverables were a print-ready files sent to our commercial printing vendor, and a digital file for posting online.

The program is a key element of our customer experience at our concert as a way to share our story. The success of this project on determined by feedback from customer about the look and utility of the tool.

As this is a printed tool used for an event, design timing needs to follow print timelines. We agree on delivery dates and the team communicates with me as their work progresses. Bradbury is able to manage this process so it can still iterative with flexibility, but we have never missed a deadline.
